The members weren't ones for appearing on variety shows outside of Run BTS. They'd created their own show after not feeling like they could really be themselves in other shows, and also after being treated poorly by other hosts. When asked if they wanted to appear on a show to interview a solo idol named Kyun, Jungkook offered to do it. He'd actually heard some of Kyun's music before and really liked it so he thought it would be really cool to get to interview the guy. The members told him it was up to him and he could do it if he really wanted to, they'd support him.

Jungkook was super excited the day of the interview. It wasn't often he got to interview other musicians, it was usually him being interviewed. He came up with a bunch of questions he wanted to ask Kyun and he was given questions to ask by the broadcasting company.

When he arrived at the station he was greeted by staff and introduced to Kyun in his dressing room. The room was full of other staff as well. Kyun was extremely nice and humble towards Jungkook and told him how much he loved the singers music. Jungkook got all shy about his own work and told him thank you.

The interview lasted about an hour. Jungkook asked Kyun questions about his music and inspirations, his friends and family, his favorite past time activities and more. The two seemed to hit it off really well on camera and Jungkook even wondered if the two could turn out to be friends in the long run. After the interview was over Jungkook was alone in his dressing room getting changed when he heard someone barge in.

"Woah, hey! Wait! I'm changing!" he yelled nervously as he quickly pulled his shirt on.

"Oh right, sorry." It was Kyun who had walked in. Jungkook told him not to worry about it and Kyun started talking to Jungkook about how much fun the interview was. He walked towards Jungkook and started talking about how he'd like to get to know him better. He kept getting closer so Jungkook started backing away, "Yeah, yeah..the interview was cool. Yeah we could maybe hang out sometime.." He was getting a bit weirded out by Kyun. He figured the guy wasn't one for personal space. What really caught Jungkook off guard was when Kyun started admitting to Jungkook how attractive he thought he was.

"Oh..um...thank you?" Jungkook said confused. The maknae heard it all the time from fans but it was a bit different hearing it from an idol he just interviewed while they were alone in a backstage dressing room. Kyun started stepping even closer to Jungkook, "I meant something else when I said get to know you," Kyun smiled. Jungkook kept backing up, Kyun was making him nervous and really starting to make him uncomfortable.

"I really need to get going, I have to meet up with hyungs soon for practice," Jungkook lied.

"I think your hyungs can wait."

"What..?"

Kyun took his phone out of his pocket and set it down on the table. Jungkook didn't notice that he had hit record. Kyun grabbed Jungkook's shirt collar and pushed him backwards up against the wall. He kept going on about how they could "Have a lot of fun together" and kept going on about "Getting to know eachother." To Jungkook's extreme shock, Kyun leaned in and tried to kiss him. Jungook shoved him backwards "What the fuck!" Jungkook screamed, "Get the hell away from me you freak! What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"What?! What is the problem?" Kyun asked innocently.

"You! You're the problem!" Jungkook shouted as he ran to the other side of the room. "You can't just come in here and do shit like that! Trying to kiss me?! And all this stuff about getting to know me?! You don't know me at all, Kyun! Just leave me alone you asshole! I thought you were cool but you're nothing but a pervert!" Jungkook grabbed all of his stuff and ran out the door.

After Jungkook ran out the door Kyun was extremely angry and decided to get revenge on Jungkook by releasing the video, but only after some editing. After some editing the whole video displayed Jungkook screaming at Kyun.

"What is the problem?" "You! You're the problem! What the fuck! You can't come in here you freak!"

Kyun smiled at the video and posted it on twitter. He also sent it to BTS' twitter messages .

By the time Jungkook got home his hyungs were angry. The maknae was confused when all of them surrounded him and Namjoon held his phone in his face, "What the hell is this?!" he screamed.

"What is what?" Jungkook asked confused.

"This video! It's all over Twitter! What the hell were you doing?!" Jungkook could tell his hyungs looked angry but he had no idea why. Namjoon showed him the video and Jungkook's heart dropped. "No..no that's...he recorded me?! Hyungs I swear that's not what was really happening!"

"How could you be so mean to him?!" Taehyung screamed .

"He messed with the video! And I didn't know he was recording! He was being weird and he was trying to kiss me!" Jungkook yelled in defense. Yoongi told him that was the biggest load of garbage he'd ever heard, "According to this video that's now all over the damn internet, you were being a complete dick to him for no reason! What's your problem?! You should never treat someone like that! What's gotten into you?!" Yoongi scolded.

Jungkook started crying with frustration, "You're really not going to believe me?! I wouldn't treat someone like that unless I needed to! I'm telling you he was being a creep!" Jungkook was desperate for his hyungs to believe him. If they didn't, nobody was going to. They continued to scold him and tell him what he did was wrong and he should be ashamed of himself. They told him he needed to publicly apologize for the video and for the way he had treated Kyun but he absolutely refused to do it.

He went on twitter and saw a ton of fans now trash talking him and saying how he "Showed his true colors," and other fans were tweeting about how "Jungkook is secretly an asshole." He saw some tweets from fans trying to defend him saying that he probably had a good reason for saying such nasty things to Kyun. The maknae appreciated those fans the most because he felt like they understood. He also saw that a trending hashtag was "#ProtectKyunFromJeon". He completely broke down crying over the mess. He was absolutely devastated that nobody knew his side of the story and that the people he had tried to tell didn't believe him.

He saw tweets from Kyun stating how Jungkook was extremely rude to him "The entire time" and that backstage all he did was treat him poorly. The maknae couldn't believe the lies that were spreading. His own hyungs and half the world were mad at him over something false and he had no idea how to fix it but he knew the one thing he was never going to do was apologize.

His hyungs had been scolding him every day for a week reminding him how big of a jerk he was and how he should feel bad for the things he yelled at Kyun. They also scolded him for making a ton of ARMY's upset and that it wasn't fair to them either to have to witness such a video. Jin kept telling Jungkook that he thought they'd raised him better than that. Jungkook started to ignore the scoldings from his hyungs. All it did was make him feel even worse.

The week after the incident the members were backstage at an awards ceremony. They had a performance for "ON" and they were also going to perform "Dynamite." They had expected a big crowd in the ARMY section but the crowd was smaller than they had expected. Everyone blamed Jungkook for that to which the maknae just pouted wondering if Kyun had managed to ruin their entire lives. To his dismay, Kyun was also supposed to be at the award show too. When the band had walked by Kyun's section of fans they spat insults at Jungkook and even the other BTS members. The hyungs gave their maknae evil stares.

Thankfully their performances went really well and the ARMY's who did show up were extremely proud of them and were hyping them up in the crowd. To their surprise they'd even still won a handful of the awards they were up for, but ended up losing some awards to Kyun himself. After receiving an award Kyun was walking back to his seat and walked by the group. He looked at Jungkook and gave him an evil smirk and the maknae felt his stomach start doing flips. His anxiety was really starting to pick up and he needed a moment away from all the chaos. He decided to quickly sneak away to go get some fresh air and splash water on his face in the bathroom. The moment Jungkook had left, there seemed to be an interruption during the middle of the award show. All of the lights went black and a video popped up on the screens on stage. The members instantly realized it was the video of Jungkook.

"Oh you can't be fuckin serious right now!" Jimin yelled angrily, "Someone turn that off!"

What caught them all off guard was the very beginning of the video. It was a part they hadn't seen. Kyun had shoved Jungkook up against the wall and was ..flirting..with him. Everyone's jaws dropped when they saw Kyun actually try to kiss their maknae while he was pinned up against the wall. They heard what was actually being said and saw how Jungkook was trying to run away while scolding Kyun. Once the video was over the lights came on and the room was dead silent. The members looked at eachother in disbelief. Kyuns manager suddenly took the stage and said that what he just showed was the real video he had found on Kyuns phone and that the video that was released prior had been edited by Kyun himself. Kyun's manager said he would make sure that Kyun was dealt with accordingly and he apologized to Jungkook and all of BTS.

The members were in tears after realizing Jungkook had told the truth and that the video was edited. They turned to Jungkook and realized he was missing. "Wait..where is he?" Hobi asked concerned. They all said they didn't know but that maybe he had gone to the bathroom. They all got up and started looking around the venue for him and in the bathrooms but couldn't find him anywhere. Jimin suddenly heard yelling coming from down one of the halls and started running telling the others to follow when he thought it sounded like Jungkook. They turned a corner and found their maknae being pinned up against the wall again by Kyun, just like in the video. Jungkook was a crying mess.

"Help! Hyungs help!" Jungkook cried.

"Get the hell off of him you damn creep!" Taehyung screamed. He ran over and grabbed Kyun and pushed him to the floor. Jungkook ran to his members and Yoongi and Namjoon quickly pulled him into a hug as he cried into Yoongi's shoulder. Jimin pointed his finger at Kyun, "We know what you did! The whole world knows now! Your manager played the real video, you asshole!" Jimin screamed.

Jungkook had no idea, "He what?" he asked through tears. Hobi explained how Kyuns manager released the official video and apologized. Kyun spat out that they were all liars but Taehyung reassured him that he can't blame anyone but himself now that the real video was just played on live television.

"Maknae you were telling the truth the whole time we're so sorry!" Jimin cried and turned back to Kyun, "And you! Now what the hell were you trying to do?! Touch him again like the creep you are?!" He turned back to Jungkook, "Are you okay? Did he hurt you? What the hell was going on?"

"He..I..I was going to the bathroom and he snuck up behind me and tried dragging me into another backstage room and got mad and threw me against the wall again and..and.." Jungkook broke out into sobs again. Yoongi pulled him in to a tighter hug. Taehyung started screaming at Kyun about how his career was over and "If you ever touch Jungkookie again I promise you there will be hell to pay!"

Jin suggested they leave the venue and go home. "Kyun just ruined his own career, so there's nothing else we need to do." He also added to Taehyungs threat that if Kyun ever touched Jungkook again then they would have a problem. Yoongi walked Jungkook to their car with his arm wrapped around his shoulders. Once they were in the car Jungkook was still wiping tears away as his hyungs went on and on about how sorry they were for scolding him and not believing him. They kept asking him if he was okay.

"I'll...be okay.." he pouted. Kyun scared the hell out of him but at the same time he couldn't have asked for anything better than to have the real video be played live in front of everyone. He no longer needed to defend or explain himself as all the evidence was finally there. Namjoon pulled up twitter and a million tweets were pouring in of fans apologizing and cursing Kyun. News also spread that Kyun lost the awards he won and they were going to be awarded to BTS instead. There were also hashtags such as "#SorryJungkookie" and "#ProtectMaknaeFromKyun."

When they got home the apologies from his hyungs still kept pouring in. Taehyung couldn't stop asking if he was okay and kept begging for forgiveness. Jungkook kept trying to tell them everything was okay and he wasn't angry at them anymore but the hyungs still felt terrible anyway.

Over the next few days it was revealed that Kyun had been fired from his company and while that was happening BTS was gaining a lot of love again and had even been asked to appear on some more broadcasting shows. Another idol who Jungkook really liked was going to be interviewed and when asked if he'd like to be the one to do it, Jungkook politely declined.

"No thank you," Jungkook told the company while chuckling. He didn't want any more crazy scandals and he also really liked the artist and figured keeping his distance would keep it that way.

In the end, the hyungs promised to always believe Jungkook's side of the story over everything no matter what.
