Smell of blood were filled in that dark room. And a masked person's hillarious laugh echoed in that deathly silence. that lunatic eyes was so happy enough to shed a blood . that crazy hand searched for Emma's photo and put it in the candle fire .

And laughed again and again by seeing it melting in that hot fire.....

"Haha....a bug is deleted....now it become easy for me"

"NO......." deranged mouth shouted again........

"No , I should take care of mega bug in this game "

Saying this, that hand stabbed a knife on anonymous person 's photo ,right at the heart......

"END ..I will decide "..hahaha......

Daniel's pov

"Murder case? Why this type of case coming to us." Ron was so bothered about the case. He always worries , what if culprit killed him out of revenge of arresting.

"Then what do you expect? Picpocketing,thief , harassment... this man is really boring" I patted his shoulder and told.

"You can say anything. Look ,You are suspended, psychopaths and serial killer won't kill you. It was me who is in pit"

"Pit?.but you are in chair, I can't see pit out there "

"Haha , comedy doesn't suits you Daniel "

I asked him about the crime scene.

" it is in grand city ,victim Emma,24 years old .working as secretary at POI company".

When he mentioned grand city my thoughts travel back to yesterday's scene at basement. That lunatic girl.

" oommo, how can you laugh when someone died . heartless rick" Ron nagged me .

what ? wait , did I laugh. Haha, I laughed by thinking of her.no way .

Ron was about to go to crime scene.

"can I come ? I asked.

"are you crazy? .do you want me homeless. ?

I pretend not to hear his words or nagging. this punk talks so much and nonsense things like my mom.

I really miss my mom.it's been a month since I saw her. I want to be in home with mom, but mood will be always ruined when I talk to him , papa ,I don't know why he hate me so much. Why he always see me as irresponsible cope . I always wondered, did he have grudge against any cop.

We arrived at the crime scene. forensics already started their work . examing  the body .

victim was found on washroom floor ,that too in gents room .what is this girl doing in gents washroom . it is too bit suspicious. could it boyfriend ,girlfriend clash .that BF stabbed her GF for another girl , i wondered. It seems like,culprit cleared out the scene ,there were no weapons , traces , nothing.

my thoughts were broke when heard a familiar sound of a old man. That's  our team leader.

"what is this suspended cop doing here" he ask Ron, pointing finger at me.

"that ...sir...sir...he" Ron is blabbering.

To our good an idea pooped into my mind.

"Ron. sir ...Ron have some mental issues.so doctor instructed to keep close people by side" I told him

Ron was staring at me as if he's gonna kill me after this.

"oky , did you check the cctv, what about family? witness?suspects? " like always he boomabared many question that make us confuse what to do first.

"there was no cctv inside the bathroom" Ron answered...

Idiot, who would keep cctv inside the bathroom. insane man . both are senseless, i mocked them that too mentally.

"what about outside".

"it was broken since yesterday morning " .

That is strange. how come great convention centre were not aware of cctv that is broken.  This building must have such a strong security yet muderer escape without leaving trace.

"what about cctv in the basement" team leader asked

"BASEMENT".i scream like hell

"what , is anything wrong?" team leader asked .

oh god ,iam dead . what if he find me and harry fighting in the basement yesterday , iam dismissed. daniel you are going to be unemployed. my inner thought teached me, inner me cried out.

"we are checking it sir" Ron  answered like a polite child.

Ron looked at me as if don't worry . you won't caught . I will take care of it.

" ron , look this ,the wound were deeper right next to abdomen . it seems culprit had such a strong grudge against the victim. attack may be unexpected . viticm may be plead  culprit to save her. during that time , blood of victim  may be sprained in culprit dress , if we can find person who wore dress starined with blood.yayyyhh we win. i told him by pointing to body..

"what if it is a serial killing " i again shared my thoughts with him

"are you crazy daniel....dont make useless hypothesis. and do you think it is easy to find a person from here.. daily thousands of travelers ,organisers come here for various purposes .based on your theory , it is difficult. and don't make it serial killing or whatever....."

He always have big mouth when it comes to murder.

"what about elevator check" . i asked him

"elevator check?"

"yeah , in this building , approximately ,there will be total seven elevator . nobody can go up and down without it. we can find culprit if we got footage of elevator.

"daniel ,do you think , culprit would leave such a huge evidence behind.. no , he probably get rid of that dress"

After a strong argument between me and Ron , we finally decided to check the elavator footage..

This building is really restless , even in the midnight people are moving around. my back is hurting like a hell due to long time sitting and too i was feeling  drowsiness

"ron , iam sleepy , iam going home.

" how can you leave me behind . it is our duty Daniel...."

"ours? no its yours duty. iam suspended cop". winked at him

" you betrayal ,cheater" ....he yelled at me.

i took my jacket and was about to leave..

"daniel wait, look this. i think we got it.these girl are really entertaining..

I looked back at screen ,snatched mouse from him  and double click to zoom it to get clear view of them.it was that rick girl and victim .  woow , it is really getting intresting..

"Ron, we should interrogate them..question every person presented at the scene  "

"what ? we ? you are suspended. he told me by raising his eyebrows.. that is what karma . I mentally slaped for for saying that.

"ok ok sir...sorry for the later  man".

Jennie's pov

Its was really my first time in a interrogation room. Sudden fear and nervous crawl and embrace me all over the body. I could also fell my heart beating rapidly.  Beside me they also called Selena, adam and beside others . I hold selena hand tightly to relieve my stress.

"miss jennie , come inside" a cop called me . i sat on the chair beside the table . the room was suffocating me . i can see other cops watching me  through the glass.

"so miss jennie . you and emma were freinds ". cop who sat in front of me asked.

"NO" I answered loudly.

"then ? enemies? " .he asked me by raising the eyebrows .

"what cause the fight between you two?" . he again asked .i stayed silent. i really don't know , what to say.

"if you are determined to be silent . we have to interpret your silenece as commiting.do you want it? ".

I decided to spit  everything. when iam about to answer another cop barged in.

"daniel , what are you doing here." cop on the chair suddenly stand up

I turned to look that man behind. it is him from the basement . is he cop? . what is this unexpected climax. What big sin did i do to deserve all this, i cried out , mentally slapping me for bieng a brave citizen myself by causing such a huge mistake that day.

he turned at me, fixed glance with slight smirk and wink.

" hi , do you know me ?".......................
