'Piper!' Rose hissed as Piper started to walk towards her next class (Charms). 'Piper Thomas! Come here now!'

'Yes...' Piper had a sneaking suspicion that she knew what this was about.

She was right.

'You and my cousin,' Rose started, pointing one fingernail at Piper threateningly. 'Tell me what you were talking about!'

'Rose-'

'Now.'

'Rose-'

'You were both blushing, I could tell. What was it? Tell me. Otherwise I'll go talk to Albus and tell him you have a crush on him and that's why I want to know- Piper, don't look at me like that. I'm fulfilling my duty as your best friend. I'm helping you. You'll thank me when you have fourteen kids with Albus and have been married twenty years.' Rose grabbed Piper's arm and dragged her towards the corner of an empty hallway. 'Tell me.'

'I told him about your ridiculous fantasies,' Piper said sharply. 'That's why we both blushed- because it's so ridiculous that it would ever happen. I mean, come on, Rose!'

Rose snorted loudly, attracting the attention of two passing sixth-years. 'What are you looking at?' She asked bluntly, and they hurried off, looking back over their shoulders in terror. Rose smirked at their retesting backs.

'He's practically my brother, Rose.' Piper said huffily. 'Now will you let me go to Charms?'

She stalked off, her auburn hair swinging behind her as she walked.

Rose stared after her sadly. 'You say he's like your brother...' She whispered quietly. 'But does he think that?'

So I've decided I'm going to make lots of short chapters- this one was just over 200 words, sorry, but I'll update more.

Would you like that or would you rather chapters averaging 1000+ words?

Please let me know. And what do you think? Maybe Rose's matchmaking has other motives than just wanting to be related to Piper...

I'm going to add a bit of Scorose to this because I can. Deal with it.
