002

Alev and Aria were walking home from school. Aria was staring down into her book as she walked, not paying any attention to her surroundings. Alev was being hyper-aware of the surroundings to cover for both of them, holding Aria's wrist incredibly firmly.

Every so often, he'd tug her in a different direction, and her legs complied. He bet he looked incredibly moronic, walking his twin sister like she was a toddler. He shook his head and focused on finding the way home, trying to avoid being in the area where he had seen, on the news, that there was a large conflict. Supposedly with the freaking avengers involved.

He reached a crossroads. Alev could go through the alley, probably get mugged, or go through the literal battlefield, and maybe make some cash from any broken bits of uniforms and stuff, if he collected and sold them. "Battlefield it is," he muttered, turning, already hearing loud crashes. "Hm?" asked Aria, finally looking up, and closing the book.

"Welcome back, Aria fucking Jupiter." remarked Alev, rolling his eyes. "Uncalled for," she said, with a little huff. They walked into the battlefield, a big part of New York City, and... chaos. Avengers and some weird cloaked guys, battling to the death or something.

Alev scrambled out of the way of a red object, that went flying at his head. He caught it, grimacing as part of it stabbed into his hand. "Al! Are you-" yelped Aria. "Shh." snapped Alev, pressing his index finger to her mouth. Alev turned the knife in his hands. Obsidian, and oh wow- Vibranium. He could definitely sell this, or at worst, pawn it.

His hand hurt pretty bad, but... it would be fine. He stared at the blood for another minute, before another knife-bearing guy went barreling into the wall behind him. He turned and saw frickin Hawkeye. "Oh, my shit," he said, horror in his eyes. "We should have just gotten mugged."

Alev grabbed Aria and ran. They bolted, together. "Ahhhhhhhh god. Why is this my life?!?" yelled Alev. The archer was chasing them now. He saw a detour, a small alleyway, and dove into it, Aria not even protesting anymore.

An arrow came at them. Alev caught it, and kept running. A sudden dead end was seen, and Alev swerved to avoid it- and fell, straight onto his back, a loud snapping noise as he crashed. Alev stuck his tongue out to help with the pain, eyes shut.

Aria was luckier, ending up against the wall but fine. The guy came a bit closer, then took off his helmet and looked at them. He groaned loudly. "You aren't operatives. You're civilians... how did you get here?!"

"I- I was just trying to get home..." stammered Alev.

"THROUGH AN ACTIVE CRIME SCENE?? Get home, now."

"Y-yes sir." Alev tried to sit up and gasped in pain as his shoulder moved.

"Come here. I'm going to put it back in."

"S-sir?"

"You heard me."  Alev slowly made his way over to the man, who pushed his head down, and held his arm.

 "1... 2...3...4!"

Alev screamed in shock, panting slightly. "That hurt." he stated quietly. "I know. But Hopefully you both learned your lesson, hmm?"

--------

Alev and Aria got home, and Aria slowly knocked.
