Childhood Memories Never Fades
Background: Pandavas and Draupadi on 13 years in Exile while Uppandavas are in Dwarka with their Pitamahi Kunti and Subhadra.
Rajmata Kunti sat in the courtyard of the palace, surrounded by her grandsons Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma. The warm rays of the sun bathed them in a golden glow as Kunti began to weave tales of the past.
Kunti narrated "My dear grandsons, let me tell you about the childhood naughtiness of your father, my beloved son Parth."
Abhimanyu gleamed with smile "Oh, please do, Pitamahi! We would love to hear stories about our father's mischievous antics."
Kunti's face beamed with joy"When Parth was just a young boy, he was full of energy and curiosity. One day, he decided to play a prank on his uncle Bhima by hiding his favorite weapon, the mace."
Shrutkarma wondered in awe "Oh, what happened next, Pitamahi?"
Kunti smiled widely and said "Well, when Bhima couldn't find his mace, he searched high and low, getting more and more frustrated. Parth couldn't contain his laughter and finally revealed where he had hidden it. Bhima was both relieved and impressed by Parth's cleverness."
Shrutkarma chirped in frolics "That's so funny, Rajmata! Did Pitashree played any more pranks like that?"
Kunti chuckled softly before continuing, "Oh, there are many more instances of Parth's mischievous nature. Once, he tied the tails of all the palace horses together, causing chaos and confusion in the stables. Another time, he convinced his younger brother Nakul to climb a tall tree to retrieve a kite, only to leave him stranded up there for hours!"
Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma burst into laughter, imagining their father's antics as a mischievous young boy.
Abhimanyu smiled widely like his father "Pitashree must have been quite the troublemaker!"
Kunti smiled warmly, "Oh, but he was also very brave and compassionate. One day, when a wild animal threatened the village, Parth risked his own life to protect the villagers, showing immense courage and selflessness."
Shrutkarma gleamed with pride "Pitashree truly is a hero, Pitamahi."
Kunti nodded in agreement, "Yes, my dear grandsons, Parth may have been mischievous as a child, but he grew up to be a noble and valiant warrior. His heart is still innocent like you two and is of Gold cause he forgives even his enemies ".
Kunti's smile faded as she continued, "But despite his bravery and strength, Parth also carried deep sadness within him. He lost his father at a young age, and it pained him greatly. He became quiet and withdrawn, and his mischievous nature dimmed as he struggled to come to terms with the loss."
Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma listened intently, their playful expressions turning somber as they realized the weight of their father's past.
Kunti's voice softened as she spoke, "Parth's heart is filled with love for his family, especially for his brothers and for me. He vowed to always protect and care for us, even at the cost of his own happiness."
Tears welled up in Kunti's eyes as she remembered the pain and sorrow her son had endured. Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma reached out to comfort her, understanding the depth of Parth's sacrifices.
Kunti wiped away her tears and smiled through her sadness, "But through it all, Parth remained a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope for our family. He may have faced hardships, but his love and courage never wavered."
Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma nodded in understanding, feeling a newfound admiration for their brave and resilient father.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the gathering, Kunti took a deep breath and said, "Despite the challenges he faced, Parth emerged stronger and more determined than ever. His love for his family and his unwavering commitment to righteousness guided him through the darkest of times."
With a sense of pride in her voice, Kunti concluded, "And that, my dear children, is the legacy of Parth – a warrior, a protector, and a loving son. He may have faced hardships, but he overcame them with grace and courage, showing us all the true meaning of strength and resilience. As his mother, I am proud of my child ".
Abhimanyu and Shrutkarma smiled, grateful for the lesson in their father's unwavering spirit. They knew that no matter what challenges they may face in the future, they would always carry the legacy of their revered father Arjun in their hearts, inspiring them to face each obstacle with courage and determination.
And as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, a sense of hope and optimism filled the air, reminding them that even in the darkest of nights, there is always light to most beautiful dawn coming soon.
