First ritual

Finishing the first part of the ritual, I checked the book to make sure I do not need to redo it for the fourth time. As the book stated, if I need to use the spacial rings I need a mana core, and in order for one to awaken his mana core a ritual must take place. Grabbing the book to analyse the next part of the ritual, 'after drawing the ancient language phrases "Sipha mi theric deth sha ziretaçu","Gęth mi metiku tiresth sha çtubi ziretaçu","azke mi zhęræ  ri sha kheiran" with star dust, sit in the middle and meditate until you begin to feel vibrations in the air. Afterwards you will be required to give shape to these vibrations and breathe them in into your solar plexus. The easiest shape to give the vibrations are spheres, by using sheer will to bend the vibrations into spheres you succeed in creating a shape to the physical representation of mana'.

I was lucky enough to find star dust in the metal case I found in the drawers earlier, after applying pressure to it while drawing the required phrases in the ancient language as well as the shapes, the star dust changed from a dark navy colour to a white colour.

According to this book, star dust can be collected by pulverising beast cores into a fine powder. When I managed to opened the case containing star dust, which was rather irritating, I was captivated by the beauty of it, like the night sky filled with millions of stars.

As I sat in the middle trying to concentrate on the vibrations, the vision I got after waking up started haunting me, which only made concentrating harder. It gotten to the point of irritation. I slapped myself into focusing, I then proceeded to comfort myself by acknowledging that in order to survive I need to grow as powerful as I can. Sitting back once again I went back into concentration, as I tried to feel the vibrations in the air around me while controlling my breathing, A tingle hit the back of my neck, I then started feeling small vibrations in the air, as I tried to bend the vibrations into circles a sharp pain was spreading along my body, like sharp needle's piercing my body. As I lost concentration and stopped the process of bending the vibrations, I saw beads of blood rolling down my arms.

Crawling to the book to see if it mentions anything about bleeding, reading through it all again seemed rather meaningless. Reading through the page after was where I found the answer, 'the effects of failing to bend the vibrations at a rate fast enough so that the vibrations wouldn't reach the one awakening is sweating blood which if ignored could cause fatal blood lose or in some conditions, death'. Throwing the book in irritation to the fact that I could've died,"WHY THE FUCK DID THEY NOT GIVE A FREAKING WARNING FIRST HAND?!". Walking back to the circle with slight irritation I sat and tried concentrating once again, this time as I felt the needles starting to pierce my skin I imagined them bending into spheres, then I moved to the vibrations in the air around me and started to imagine them bending into spheres. It took a while for me to bend them all before I started breathing the spheres around me, imagining them moving with the air, entering my body, bonding and moving like liquid in my solar plexus. It took a while before the mana spheres started filling the empty sphere in my solar plexus.

As the the final sphere needed to fill my core entered my body all of the vibrations I bend into spheres around me disappeared into darkness. Not understanding what happened I opened my eyes, only to see that the shapes I drew earlier had dissolved into a pitch black powder, although the star like sparkles of the powder was gone. The only conclusion I had was that in order to interact with the mana around, requires star dust. Looking at the silver case laying beside the books on the floor, only filled a bit less than half now. I needed to find some beasts in order for me to keep learning the spells in these books.

As I tried sensing the mana particles in my mana core I knew I would need to find a way to absorb mana with spending the least amount of star dust as possible. Picking up the ring and analysing it, I wore it. Trying to imbue it with mana wasn't as easy as I anticipated, feeling the mana particles move from outside of my mana core, rolling down through my right arm, flying outside my skin and entering the ring, until I felt the endlessness inside it.

Bowing down to feel for the books while keeping my eyes closed thinking it could break the connection between the ring, I grabbed it and imagined it entering the rings space. As I transported the items I planned on taking with me.

Opening my eyes only to be welcomed by darkness, confused I looked around me, only to find the books I moved in the ring beside my feet. As I looked at my right hand I saw that the ring was gone. Thinking that I got stuck in the ring I looked inside me, or specifically in my mana core, only to find that there was still mana flowing slowly through my core. Instead of just closing the path I tried absorbing the mana I poured in the ring, after absorbing and closing the path the darkness slowly started dissolving and I found myself back in the library.

Falling on my butt, I took a deep breath thinking about how terrifying this experience has been. Looking around me I decided to look for something useful, looking around me I spotted a door behind one of the shelves which was one of the few standing ones. As I reached the door and tried to push, it seemed to be locked. Looking down at my pretty fit legs I did what anyone would think. Taking a dozen steps back, I began accelerating and pulled up both of my feet to meet right beside the hinge, which then broke free the door quite easily which made me fall right on my back. Despite knowing it was overkill I smiled and clinched my hand at my victory against the door.

The room I entered wasn't that interesting, it seemed to be more of an office, with a desk facing the door right at the back. My hopes of finding a sharp sword in a place like this seemed to diminish. Feeling pretty tired I decided to take a quick nap at the couch beside the door to the right. As I checked the clock above the desk my eyes felt heavy, proceeding to close my eyes I felt the darkness over take me as each of my limbs relaxed and accepted the darkness.
