I want to encourage you to read the first book in this series, the Wattys Shortlister The Code Keeper, before you read this one. The Code Breaker can stand on its own, however, missing the first book will greatly detract from your enjoyment of this book. Your time will be well spent on the first book in my series, I promise you!

This book is the result of years of drafting and revising and the feedback of so many writer friends and critique partners.
