How he was going to do that, he wasn't quite sure. However, he shot up in bed and wiped his tears as he decided that laying around and crying would only waste time.
He wiped the tears and snot from his face before heading to the bathroom. He wanted to freshen up but as he went to turn the handle to the sink remembered that there would be no water. He knew if he was going to bring his members back to life, he'd need a functioning place to do it. He ran back to his room and grabbed his phone, praying that it would turn on.
In a stroke of luck, it did. There was no internet but thankfully he had data and was able to get into the group's account to pay the electric and water bill.
Tens of thousands of dollars due because of missed payments and late fees. On the plus side, the money was in the account to have it all paid. It was just a matter of actually hitting the payment button. They usually had their bills on auto-pay, but the time period for the year had ran out at some point during the last eight months. Once he was able to pay it he got a message that everything would be restored within the next twenty minutes.
Boom.
Within twenty minutes the water came spewing from the faucet, the internet kicked back on, and the light switches finally worked.
Seeing the dorm lit up was an eerie feeling. Light was supposed to represent happiness and hope, but to him it was just a giant spotlight on the emptiness. As if the universe was saying, "Haha. Here you are all alone."
Taehyung shook the bad thoughts out of his head. He had a new sense of determination to figure out how to get his members back. He knew it couldn't involve their bodies because he'd already been informed that they'd all been cremated and sent home to their families.
There had to be another way.
Souls.
Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Only transferred from one form to another. That has to go for souls too.
Taehyung needed to get their souls. But before that, he needed something to transfer their souls into. He knew he needed it to represent them. He needed his members to be able to look and function like themselves.
How can I create a man?
He immediately remembered something that had been taught for generations upon generations.
Dust.
The dirt.
Clay.
He shot up from where he had been sitting, immediately putting together all of his ideas.
Start with clay, and work from there.
Then he was hit with a somewhat detrimental roadblock. He didn't know how to sculpt so he didn't know how he was supposed to create six statues of clay that all looked exactly like his members down to their smallest features.
He realized if he was going to get any good at it, it was going to take some practice. And he needed to start practicing as soon as possible. With the internet now working, he was able to get better service on his phone to look into some of the best places to order sculpting clay.
He found a store within Seoul that made some of the best clay, many famous sculptures swore by it. Them having created some of the world's top artwork.
Taehyung didn't think twice and he didn't care how much money it cost because if he was going to be making his members out of it, they deserved nothing less than the best.
He knew a lot would go to waste until he got his sculpting technique down perfectly, so he ended up ordering hundreds...
and hundreds...
of pounds of clay.
