"soooooo?" Hoseok is grinning from ear to ear once Taehyung pads his way through the house and plops onto the couch next to him.

"so what?" the man giggles, brings a pillow to his face to muffle the squeal that threatens to come out amidst his laughter.

"how was it?"

Taehyung rolls onto his back and exhales exaggeratedly "Hyung, I like him. He's so funny and sweet and god he's so hot"

Hoseok's hand comes to rest on Taehyung's ankle, squeezing a little before he gets up himself "will there be another date?"

Taehyung pouts his lips at the realization his phone hasn't gone off yet, "I sure hope so" he murmurs to himself.

Earning a kiss to the crown of his head from Hoseok "sleep well, Taehyungie. Hyung is so glad to see you happy again"

Taehyung is in the kitchen, preparing some of Eujin's foods for the following day when his phone pinging almost makes him drop the bowl in his hand.

It's comical the way he rushes into the living room to pull his phone from the sofa

>> told you I wouldn't forget, I'm so looking forward to our next date. Sundays still good? or is there any chance you can squeeze me in sooner?"

He thinks long and hard before replying, if he can talk Sungho into working the evening shift instead of the morning shift on Wednesday, than they could have a date then.

It'll take some begging and maybe a free book, but Taehyung thinks it'll be worth it.

>>are you free wednesday evening?

>>I'm free whenever you are. Told you, I can be flexible.

>>then wednesday, my turn to choose. I'll text you with a location the morning of...element of surprise.

>>sounds perfect, sleep well Taehyung-ssi.

Taehyung does sleep well. Can't remember the last time he slept so well and when Eujin's cries can be heard just in time with his work alarm he sneaks into Yoongi and Hoseok's room.

"Tae?"

"I'll put Eujin back to sleep before I leave, rest hyung" he whispers, heart melting with the way Eujin's tiny face curls into his chest and his cries stop immediately.

"Hello my angel...daddy went on a date last night...it was so nice and lovely. Thank you for being so good for Hyungie while I was gone" his voice is a low coo as Eujin's wide eyes stare at Taehyung with a bright smile.

"Things are gonna get better for us baby, just be patient for me" he murmurs before he begins humming a soft tune.

It's always so quick for Eujin to fall asleep, head lulling against the rumble of Taehyung's low voice from his chest.

The days have been hard but Eujin makes them so much brighter.

"Mr. Jeon, you're here really early" 

"Hey Raj, yeah I'm trying to get a head start on tonight's work." 

"How exactly are you getting a head start on a pre-screening?" 

Jeongguk smirks a bit when he eyes his co-worker, "by doing all of your reports for the day so that you'll take my spot on do the interviews in my place?" 

"Yah, c'mon Guk, you know I suck at those shits" 

"I do too, but I just.. I really can't be there tonight, I have urgent matters to tend to. Important stuff you know" 

Raj gives an exaggerated eye roll as he takes his seat at the desk adjacent to Jeongguk's, "No, the latest video game is not important business, no matter how famous of a streamer you are" 

Jeongguk laughs, genuinely, as if he'd spend his night playing video games when there's a gorgeous man waiting for his attention "you worry about how you spend your time and i'll worry about how I spend mine..meanwhile, I'm sending you these reports. I proofread everything and their ready to submit" he's gathering his things to go start on his next task when he remembers "hey, aren't you the one who's been looking for a certain book" 

"Yeah, I need the last two books to complete my shelf series of Harry Potter" 

"Well, here" hands over a piece of paper with the address to Taehyung's shop on it "I discovered this place a couple weeks ago, they probably have what you're looking for!" 

"Thanks Guk! I've been looking forever and you can't trust mail carriers these days to handle your books with care" 

Jeongguk laughs as if he could relate, he can't really. but maybe eventually he will. 

Maybe here soon he'll be the guy that hunts book shops for specific copies and special editions...or maybe he'll just be spending all of his time at one certain shop that houses one man.
