Ivy stood next to the window in the building that she was in all those years ago. She was in the same position as before she had met Pipp and Lou just months before.
She had become as broken as she was in the past thanks to the help of the pathetic duo that was supposed to fix her.
My family betrayed me. She thought. They made me more broken than ever. They took advantage of me.
The betrayal had been too much for the young doll and she ran away before the others could say anything.
They don't deserve that chance to. They broke me.
The void in her chest was telling her that. Ivy was nothing more than a fuck up. Even the Louis and Pipp didn't want her.
They had cast her aside due to one fucking mistake.
Ivy clutched her necklace as it shined. Astral was on her shoulder looking at her with a pleading gaze.
They didn't mean to say those things. He whined. I'm sure that they didn't.
Ivy just folded her arms as she stared at the window in the building. Something had drew her here and she knew why it was.
The devil in disguise was waiting for her.
The one who had made her so fucked up that Ivy was afraid of a simple hug. The one who traumatised her to the point where she had become heartless.
The one who had made her belief there wasn't any hope in the world.
Ivy held back the tears as the wind came through the window. Her cigarette filled with marijuana filled the air and she already felt high.
Why should I trust anyone again?
That had only led her to this point. Louis and Pipp has fucked up big time.
Iv... Raziel sighed. We can still go back there's still time before he gets here. Mend the broken bonds.
She felt disgusted with that statement. Ivy felt physically sick. That was when she knew that there was no love for the duo now.
There was only hatred. The emotion ruled over her life. It wasn't going away now.
She felt arms around her, but they slimy and cold.
It was the entity that haunted her constantly.
"So." It whispered. "You've decided to come back?"
She didn't say anything. She never did. Ivy felt slightly dizzy as she inhaled more of the drug in front of her.
"You never talk." It rested its head on her shoulder. "I think your boring. You never wanna talk. Why do you never talk?! I want you to talk!"
It screeched that in her ear and Ivy just ignored him. It was the only way to get rid of it.
Boredom was a powerful tool.
There is no fixing what is broken.
The arms on her torso tightened possessively.
But second chances.
There are no second chances.
There wasn't a reply to that, there never was. Raz was trying to think of a way to convince Ivy to return to them.
...Just talk to them. Raz whispered. Please.
Ivy didn't answer. She had to admit that it was tempting, but she just couldn't.
I'm too damaged beyond repair.
Ivy truly was. She couldn't remember the last time she felt so broken. The last time that they cold feeling consumed her soul like this.
Her body felt like it was trapped in ice. It was the price that she had to pay to get rid of her emotions.
The entity nuzzled her shoulder, no, Desiree nuzzled her shoulder. "We can't trust anyone again."
Why hasn't Ivy listened to her before? The hunger was alright right. She had been right about this and many other things before.
"Your right." She turned to face her. "I'm sorry, I should have listened to you sooner. I was just delaying the inevitable."
Desiree chuckled and put a hand on Ivy's cheek to pat it. "Good, you've finally realised who is dominant in this body. Your my little puppet."
Ivy nodded obediently. "I am."
Desiree chuckled again, but froze when they heard the door open.
The devil entered and his smirk was ever so present.
"Hey, Pet." He smirked. "You really came."
Damian didn't actually think she would turn up. He had expected Ivy to make up with her friends already.
"I thought you would have mended then bonds."
Her head shook. "Like I'd ever forgive someone who chose my old enemy over me. The duo don't know just how dark the past is."
"Are you ever going to tell me who this Pipp is?" He asked. "It would be easier."
Ivy bowed her head and her hair went over the eyes. It would be easier to get her revenge.
But something is stopping me.
She didn't know what is was. Something just told her not to.
"No." She puffed a cig. "I'd rather die, she means too much to me."
"...Pipp's a girl?"
Ivy just stared. "...You are as stupid as you are horrible at punishing me. I have the scars."
"I just gave Evan a good torture last night." Damian laughed. "He screamed so bad. I got stitches."
Ivy looked at Evan and he was stood next to Damian. He had turned mute.
She didn't feel a thing.
"What do ya want anyway?" She asked with a raise of her brow. "I thought you hated me."
He just laughed again. "I offered you a chance to torture someone. After all, you know the power I have over my puppets. But Irene, I've grown bored with her."
"...You want me to kill her."
He nodded, and took Ivy's arm to pull her over to him. "Yep, I wanted to give you a chance to become your true self again."
Ivy couldn't help the temptation that coursed through her. The fact that Damian wanted her to do this didn't help.
"...One kill."
He nodded. "That's all I ask."
And need.
She sighed, Ivy needed to get the anger out anyway. "Fine."
He let go of her. Why was he being so nice?
"She's in the alley that way." He pointed east. "I set her there to make a deal or some shit. It was Evan's idea."
"Yeah." He spoke. "It was mine-"
He yelled as he was backhanded.
"I didn't." Damian growled. "Give you permission to speak. Sibling."
Evan suddenly stood still and didn't move. His trigger word had been used.
"Your an ass."
"I don't really care." He replied. "Evan, go to the bedroom. I'm in the mood for fun."
Ivy raised her brow. "Your having the deed with him now?"
Why did she feel jealous?
"Yep." He chuckled. "Evan's not bad. But I'd rather have you."
She didn't realise just how close they were. Ivy's breath hitched, God, she could feel the urge again.
She gave in.
Ivy pinned him to the wall and Damian huffed in surprise as she did this.
She wasn't doing this out of love. Ivy was doing this because she craved to feel something.
As those lips smashed, she had the control here. Her tongue mixed with his and made Damian submissive to her.
She was the one with the power here. But Ivy pulled away.
"Unknown and Little mouse are dead to me."
Damian smirked as she said this. His mouth went close to her ear.
"Solatium. There is nothing that can snap you out of it except for my command to be back to normal. Your release word is non-existent."
Her eye twitched as she tried to fight it off, but Ivy wasn't strong mentally. She was weak due to the grief she was experiencing.
Ivy moaned as her eyes went blank. Her irises were gone. She was under.
How could I have been an idiot to trust him?
Her mind fell under as her conscious was pushed away. The true Ivy was stored away and this version came out to play.
"...What do you need?"
Damian smirked, there was no duo this time. He could make her do what he wanted.
"Easy." He whispered. "Kill Irene."
His puppet appeared scared with Evan tying her up. He placed her on the ground.
"Ivy! It's me!" Irene shouted. "Please! Hear me!"
The only thing her mind registered was the command to kill her.
Damian appeared behind her and put a hand on her Ivy. He smiled as she relaxed under his touch.
She bent down to Irene's level and tutted. Her eyes flashed with cruelty as a smirk appeared on her face.
"Hehe." She laughed. "Just shut up, ReRe. I don't care anymore."
Don't kill her! A voice shouted. You promised.
Ivy jumped back.
"Do you promise not to take a life?" Pipp asked. "You need to swear that you won't."
Louis laughed. "We all know she won't."
"Yeah." Ivy smiled. "I won't."
She gasped as the memory appeared.
Who is Pipp and Louis?
She shook her head and got her knife out. Ivy lifted her up and grabbed her tightly.
"I hope you burn in hell." She whispered to Irene. "I don't think they have room for cowards."
Her throat was slit and Irene slipped down the the floor. Her body collapsed like a broken dolls.
The irony was that she was one.
Ivy looked at the blood on her hands and smiled.
Dear lord, she had missed this.
The feeling of blood in her face, the way that it dripped down her face and skin like paint.
The feeling of utter and addicting feeling of intoxication when she killed.
She felt like Damian's little puppet again. The past self, the present her was no where to be seen.
Ivy could have kept up the facade, but facing reality felt better.
"I told you." Damian whispered as Evan picked up the body. He signaled him to throw it at the infected. "You can't escape your true nature."
Ivy's eyes twitched again. "I...can't escape.."
Her fogged mind felt like it was sleeping. Something else was taking over her, controlling Ivy's thoughts and body.
Like she had given a new identity.
"Yes." Damian told her. "Your mine again. Stay here for night, then return to them in the morning.
Ivy leaned into Damian's touch and nodded. "Yes, Dami."
A nickname she had been programmed to remember. It was forced out of her mouth.
As Ivy closed the door, she subconsciously locked it like she wanted to keep something out.
Like there was still a hint of common sense in her.
She sighed and collapsed and on the bed. Ivy felt the fog get more and more dominant. All she could hear was the command to sleep.
And to cut ties with your family. A voice whispered. It sounded like the old Ivy. Please don't cut us off from Louis and Pipp.
She hummed. "Who..are...they?"
Ivy didn't remember their faces, but the names sparked something familiar.
Ivy sighed and settled down to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a bad one.
She was going to make the ones who broke her pay, she was going to make Louis and Pipp pay.
The thought felt oddly right. At least it did in her under control state.
Ivy settled down the sleep and hugged herself as she didn't have any covers to warm her up with. It was one of Damian's punishments to sleep in the cold.
Her eyes closed and her exhaustion caught up to her. Ivy seemed like she wanted to do this. But deep down...
There was another part screaming to get free of this torture.
It was her conscious. The true her. Not this mindless drone that took over.
Ivy just slept as she felt her mind fighting a battle it couldn't win. It shut down as another thought formed in the middle of the night.
Tomorrow was going to be all out hell.
