{Episode 13:"Underworld alliances."}

"Boss, we succeeded in tracking one of the locations of the Black Dragons," Marco exclaimed with a wide smile, his voice laced with excitement.

Jungkook's lips curled into a rare smile, a glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes.

He stood up from his seat.
Slow, deliberate steps carried Jungkook towards Marco, who stood there, wearing a mixture of anticipation and slight confusion on his face.
The confusion quickly dissipated when Jungkook's hand landed on Marco's shoulder, a gesture of appreciation.
"Good job, Marco," Jungkook's voice resonated with pride, reinforcing his faith in his subordinate's abilities.

"Bring Jimin and Yoongi," Jungkook commanded.
"We'll discuss our next move."

As Marco hurriedly left the room to summon the designated members, Jimin and Yoongi entered, accompanied by a mysterious figure donning a black mask and a hood.
The atmosphere became charged with intrigue as Jungkook's piercing gaze locked onto the enigmatic newcomer.

"He is the best spy in the underworld,"
Jimin's words hung in the air, carrying a mix of awe and reverence.
He paused, taking a deep breath to steady himself before continuing,
"We thought of hiring him only if you..." Jungkook, ever the leader, cut Jimin off with a subtle gesture.

"Let me talk to him," Jungkook's voice carried authority.
He shifted his gaze towards Jimin, his eyes conveying his silent command for privacy. With a nod, Jimin and Yoongi obediently exited the room, leaving Jungkook alone with the enigmatic spy.

Jungkook's eyes bore into the masked figure, studying his every move.
"You must be quite skilled to earn such praise from Jimin and Yoongi,"
he remarked.

"Prove your worth to me, and you may find yourself an invaluable asset to our cause."

The masked spy remained stoic.
His voice was pitched, barely betraying any emotion.
"Actions speak louder than words. I assure you, Boss, my loyalty lies solely with you."

Jungkook's lips curled into a subtle smirk as he studied the spy's firm composure.
"Good. We shall see if you live up to your reputation. But remember, loyalty is a two-way street. Betray me, and there will be consequences."

The spy inclined his head slightly in acknowledgment, his commitment to secrecy and loyalty evident even in his attitude.
"I understand, Boss. My allegiance is yours, as long as it serves our mutual interests."

With a final nod of approval, Jungkook concluded,
"Welcome to the team."

Then Jungkook reached into his pocket, retrieving a small object wrapped in a handkerchief.
With a deliberate motion, he slid it across the table towards the spy, his gaze locked on the mysterious figure.
The spy, his face covered by a black mask, watched the object intently, curiosity visible in his eyes.

"This," Jungkook began, his voice low and commanding,
"is the emblem of the Black Dragons."
He let the handkerchief fall away, revealing the distinct dragon symbol etched onto the emblem. "It's a mark of their power and influence."

The spy leaned forward, his gloved hand reaching out to pick up the emblem.
He held it delicately between his fingers, studying it with a keen eye.
The weight of the emblem in his palm seemed to fuel his determination.

"And how exactly will this help us in our mission?" the spy inquired.

Jungkook's lips curled into a sly smile.
"The Black Dragons are known for their secrecy and enigmatic nature.
By possessing their emblem, we gain an advantage. It could open doors and provide insights into their hidden operations."

The spy nodded, his gaze fixed on the emblem. He understood the significance of the artifact and the possibilities it held.
The partnership between him and Jungkook had taken a significant step forward.

With a silent exchange of understanding, the spy reached out his hand to firmly grip the emblem. His fingers traced the intricate lines and curves of the dragon symbol, committing it to memory.

"As long as we hold this emblem,"
the spy declared, his voice resolute,
"we hold a piece of their power. And with that, we shall bring the Black Dragons to their knees."

Jungkook's smile widened.
"Together, we will dismantle their empire and expose their secrets. Our mission has begun."
Jungkook leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.
"And remember, once you've extracted the necessary information, shred it. Leave no trace behind. We can't afford any leaks."

The spy nodded, the weight of the task settling upon his shoulders.
He understood the gravity of their mission, the need for discretion and the consequences of failure.

{Time skip.}

Aerin was lost in her thoughts when the doorbell interrupted her solitude.
With a sigh, she dragged herself to the door, half-expecting to see one of her friends on the other side.
However, to her surprise, it was Hoseok, a familiar face she didn't anticipate encountering.

Aerin's brows furrowed in confusion as Hoseok greeted her with his typical beaming smile and embraced her in a warm hug.
"Hoseok? What are you doing here?"
she mumbled, trying to make sense of his unexpected visit.

Breaking the hug, Hoseok feigned a mock pout, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
"Am I not welcomed?"
he asked in a teasing tone, his expression exaggerated.

Aerin couldn't help but chuckle at him, her confusion fading away. "Of course, you are. It's just that I didn't expect to see you here,"
she replied, a playful glint in her eyes.

Hoseok playfully placed a hand over his heart, pretending hurt.
"Ouch, my fragile heart," he joked, before flashing a charming grin.

"Well, my job got transferred to Seoul, and I couldn't resist the chance to be closer to my favorite friend."

Aerin rolled her eyes, knowing well that Hoseok had a knack for exaggeration.
"Marketing and stuff, huh?" she teased, raising an eyebrow.

Hoseok nodded.
"Exactly. You know how much the world needs my marketing genius. But honestly, being closer to you was the real reason,"
he admitted, his voice filled with warmth and sincerity.

Aerin felt a genuine smile tug at the corners of her lips.
"Well, I can't argue with that,"
she replied, motioning for him to take a seat on the couch.

Hoseok plopped down, placing his colorful sling bag beside him.
"So, what do you say? Can I crash here for a few days? We'll have the time of our lives!"

"You want to live here? Just for a few days?" Aerin questioned.

Hoseok grinned, leaning back on the couch.
"Well, you know, I bring an extra dose of sunshine wherever I go.
Figured this place could use some of my positive energy."

Aerin rolled her eyes playfully.
"Oh, I see. So, you're here to brighten up my life, huh?"

Hoseok nodded enthusiastically.
"Exactly! And, of course, to make sure you don't get bored all by yourself."

"Alright, Mr. Sunshine, you can crash here for a few days,"
Aerin stated, giving him a playful shove.
"But don't think I won't hold you responsible for any chaos you bring."

Hoseok acted innocent, pointing a finger at himself.
"Chaos? Me? I'm the epitome of order and calmness."

Aerin burst into laughter, unable to contain it.
"Right, Hoseok. I believe you."

As they continued their playful banter, Aerin felt grateful for Hoseok's unexpected visit.
His presence brought a sense of lightness and comfort, a much-needed distraction from the challenges she had been facing.
