(It is 06:30 PM, and Man-ya are getting ready in their room.)

Riya (standing in front of the mirror)- Are you sure, Manik? This dress looks good, right?

(He comes to her and hugs her from back, placing his hands around her waist and his chin on her shoulder.)

Manik- Is this even something to ask? You look gorgeous in everything you wear, Darling.

(RIYA'S OUTFIT FOR THE EVENING)

(MANIK'S OUTFIT FOR THE EVENING)

Riya- But at least tell me something about the party. I have been asking you since yesterday. Why are you not telling me anything?

Manik- I did tell you, Love. I told you everything on the call too. It is just a business party.

Riya (sighing)- Okay, fine. But where is this party? What is the party's location and the hotel's name?

Manik- Don't worry about that. I will take care of everything.

(He then goes from there, and she shakes her head in disbelief. They both get ready and then leave for the party. After driving for around 30 minutes, Riya looks around as they reach a farmhouse instead of a hotel, and the place is quiet.)

Riya- Why are we here, Manik? What is going on?

Manik- I have some work here, so I had to come here. Don't worry.

(Manik parks the car and then turns to her, who is looking at him, all confused.)

Riya- What happened now?

Manik- Actually, I want to show you something. But for that, you need to close your eyes first.

Riya- Manik, what...

Manik- And also, no questions. You will get all the answers in a while. But just let me do everything I want to do, please.

Riya (taking a deep breath)- Okay.

Manik (smiling brightly)- Perfect.

(He then gets down from the car and goes to her side. As he helps her come out, she closes her eyes, and he covers her eyes with his hand and guides her to walk forward. Then, after a few moments, he removes his hand from her eyes.)

Manik- I will just be back, okay? You can open your eyes after I leave.

Riya- But Manik...

(Before she can say something, he leaves from there, and she opens her eyes a few moments later to look around and find everything dark. Some light is coming from the lamps around, and she sees some enormous blocks and a table on the side.)

Riya (looking around)- Manik...

Manik- Riya.

(As she hears his voice from behind, she turns around and is surprised to find him on one knee, looking at her with an uncommon emotion in his eyes. Some lights switch around them, and she looks around to stand between a path covered with roses.)

Riya- Manik, all this...

Manik- Let me say what I want to say first, Riya... please.

(She nods in a yes, and he takes a deep breath, then gently holds her hand and kisses it.)

Manik- Earlier, I used to think that when you fall in love with someone, your heartbeats increase when that person comes in front of you. You feel out of the world when they are with you. But when I met my life's love, all these theories turned out to be completely wrong. For all our time together, you have made me feel complete and alive and shown me happiness's true meaning. I am a better person with you by my side. You have supported me through the good and the bad. You have been the reason that I smile, and you have comforted me beyond measure when I feel down. When I felt gloomy, you were my pillar of support. But you have shown me love. You have shown me care. And that matters the most to me. You healed pieces of me I didn't know needed healing. You know, Riya, for a moment, I tried imagining my life without you, but it scared me to the core. It was all dark. You are the light in my life. These past few months have been the most blissful months of my life. This is the happiest I have ever been. I have never felt this joyful and never loved someone as much as I love you. I am so grateful that we met. I'm thankful that somehow, in this crazy universe with infinite possibilities, destiny paved the way so we could see each other at the right time and place in the right moment. I want to be with you until I take my last breath, Riya, and even when I take my last breath, I want it to be next to you.

(She is looking at him with slight tears in her eyes while he is staring at her with a smile.)

Manik (taking a deep breath)- You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Nothing has or ever will come close. I have not fallen in love with you, Riya. I have risen in our love. Our love has given us strength and has completed both of us. And I never, ever want to let you go. I want us to stay together forever and ever.

(Manik then removes a small velvet box from his pocket and opens it to reveal a beautiful ring inside.)

(THE RING [CREDITS- OWNER])

Manik- Will you marry me, Dr Riya?

(Just then, everything lights up around them, and Riya is surprised to look at her surroundings.)

(THE SET UP[CREDITS- OWNER])

(They both look at each other with broad smiles and slight tears shining in their eyes.)

Manik- I love you, Riya. Marry me, please.

Riya (in happy tears)- Yes. I will marry you, Manik.

(They both chuckle, looking at each other, and he slides the ring onto her ring finger and then kisses her hand gently. They look at each other, and he then gets up and hugs her tightly, to which she wraps her arms around him tightly.)

Riya- I love you so much, Manik. I love you the most.

Manik- I love you too, Love. I love you too.

(Saying this, he hugs her more tightly, and she does the same. They both keep standing in the same position for some moments and then get a little away from each other without breaking the hug. He puts his arm around her waist and pulls her forward. Cupping her face with the other hand, he puts his lips on hers and kisses her dearly. She puts her hands on his shoulders and reverts the kiss with equal passion.)

(They break the kiss feeling breathless, and smile, looking at each other. He kisses her hand and then kisses her forehead, to which she closes her eyes and lets out a deep sigh of relief.)

Manik- You liked the surprise?

Riya- I loved it. Very very much.

Manik- So may I have the pleasure of dancing with you, mam?

Riya- Of course, Mr Husband.

Manik- Aha. To be husband, mam. I just proposed to you for marriage. A real one.

Riya- My bad, Sir. I will keep it in mind now. That we are not married. We are about to get married.

Manik- Good.

(He then clicks on the play button from the remote, and a romantic melody plays in the background. With Manik's hand around Riya's waist and her hand on his shoulder, they hold each other's hand and start dancing romantically. As the song ends, they join their foreheads and close their eyes, the smiles never leaving their faces and their hands still interlocked.)

Riya- This is the best surprise ever, Manik. I can't wait to get married to you.

Manik- Again.

Riya (chuckles)- Again.

(They open their eyes, stare at each other lovingly, and then get away.)

Manik- Well, we have more surprises planned, actually.

Riya- Really? Thank you so much for that.

Manik- Don't thank me, Love. Just enjoy our special moments. We have our favourite dishes waiting for us. Let's go.

Riya- Sure.

(They then settle on the table and have a romantic and blissful dinner together.)

(At Mehra Mansion, Manik and Riya come down to the dining area to inform the family about their plan to get married again.)

Jahnvi- Acha kiya tum dono abhi aa gaye. Chalo baitho jaldi. Main bina breakfast kiye kisi ko kaam pe nahi jaane dungi.

[Jahnvi- Well done, you both have come now. Let's sit down quickly. I will not let anyone go to work without having breakfast.]

Riya- Mom, where's bro? Is he at the office?

Jahnvi- No, no, he is sleeping. He was late last night, so I didn't wake him yet. Why are you both standing? Sit and have breakfast.

(Riya and Manik look at each other, and she signs him to speak up for them.)

Manik- Actually... We want to talk to you about something.

Shekhar- Yes, sure. What is it?

Riya- Dad, I and Manik want to get married. Again.

(Shekhar and Jahnvi look at each other and then stare back at Man-ya.)

Shekhar- How are you both suddenly thinking about marriage?

Riya- We know we got married in court earlier, Dad, but that was more like a contract marriage between the families. That marriage was for money and not for love. And we want to get married because we love each other.

Manik- Exactly, Dad. We want to start fresh by forgetting whatever has happened before. But only if you all are okay with this, too.

(Shekhar and Jahnvi look at each other with serious expressions and then again look at Man-ya.)

Manik- Is there a problem? Why are you looking at us like this?

(Just then, they both burst out laughing at Man-ya, and the latter releases the breaths they have been holding.)

Riya- God! I got so scared.

Manik- Me too. I thought you wouldn't be happy about this idea and would disagree.

Shekhar- Why would we disagree? We know how much you both love each other. So why would we refuse?

Jahnvi- And there cannot be a better idea than this. I can't tell you how happy I am today.

(Jahnvi then hugs Riya and kisses her forehead affectionately. After that, she goes to Manik and kisses his forehead too. Manik smiles at Jahnvi's gesture and touches her feet to take her blessings. At this point, Veer, too, comes there.)

Veer- What are you all talking about? Someone tell me too.

Manik- No, we won't. You go back and sleep.

Veer- I was working till late last night, Manik. At least you would understand my pain.

Riya- Of course.

(Riya goes to Veer and puts her arm around his neck, to which he, too, takes her in a brotherly side hug.)

Riya- You know how much work he did at night, Mom? By doing office work...

Veer- No, no, I didn't do anything. She keeps on talking about anything. She is just crazy.

Shekhar- Pagal vo nahi tu hai. Tujhe kya lagta hai hume pata nahi hai teri girlfriend ke baare mein kuch? Sab dikhta hai mujhe. Kon raat ko garden mein walk karte karte phone pe baatein kar raha hota hai.

[Shekhar- She is not crazy, but you are. Do you think we don't know anything about your girlfriend? Everything is visible to me. Who keeps talking on the phone while walking in the garden at night.]

Veer (shocked)- What? Who is it, Dad? Who did you see?

Manik- Enough, Veer, enough. Stop with your drama now. We all know you are seeing someone.

Jahnvi- Maine kaha to hai tujhe tu bhi settle ho jaa shaadi kar ke. Par to kahan sunta hai meri.

[Jahnvi- I told you that you should get settled after getting married. But when does he listen to me?]

Veer- Mom, please. I don't want to get married right now.

Riya- Then don't. Manik and I are getting married. Again. And an Indian wedding this time.

Veer- Really? Are you guys getting married? And that, too, again? You still have time to reconsider your decision, Manik.]

Manik (to tease Riya)- Actually. I should think about this again.

(Riya then stands before Manik and glares at Veer.)

Riya- Stop manipulating my husband, Mr Veer. He is my husband, even without an Indian wedding.

(Manik and Veer laugh, looking at each other, and Riya turns to Shekhar.)

Riya- They both are bothering me, Dad. Say something to them.

Shekhar- Oye. Meri beti ko pareshaan karna band karo tum dono.

[Shekhar- Hey. You two, stop troubling my daughter.]

Jahnvi- Okay. Now it is final that Riya and Manik are getting married again, so we will get the dates finalized from the priest. But everyone now move to the dining table. (to Veer) And you get freshened up quickly.

Veer- Yes, boss.

(Everyone does as Jahnvi says, and they enjoy their breakfast together.)

(Later that day. Jahnvi meets the pandit to choose a date for marriage, and it is finalized that Man-ya will get married next week, i.e. after 10 days.)

Jahnvi- Itni jaldi sab arrangements kaise honge Shekhar. Itne saare functions hote hai shaadi mein.

[Jahnvi- How will all the arrangements be made so soon, Shekhar? There are so many functions in marriage.]

Shekhar- But aur koyi option bhi to nahi hai naa. Iske baad agli date 02 saal baad ki hai. Hum itna delay to nahi kar sakte naa sab.

[Shekhar- There is no other option, is there? After this, the next date is after 02 years. We can't delay it so much.]

Manik- And we all are here, Mom. We will do all the preparations together. I will plan everything with Mukti and Cabir. And if we work together, then everything will be managed.

Riya- Manik is right, Mom and Dad. And I talked to Ridhaan too. He is the most excited one about this wedding. We will manage everything together, and it will all be fine.

Shekhar- I don't have any problem. Ask Jahnvi.

Jahnvi (sighing)- What problem would I have? If everyone works together, then everything will be fine. And both my kids are happy with it, so how can I disagree?

Riya- So it's final. I am getting married to Manik in 10 days.

(Manik enters the room and finds Riya sitting on the bed, smiling like a kid while seeing something on her laptop. He goes and sits next to her and smiles as she looks at wedding outfits.)

Riya- All these dresses are so elegant, Manik. I wish I could choose one of them. But they don't deliver in our city.

Manik- Of course, you can have one of them. I will get the required arrangements done.

(As Manik says so, Riya looks at him, smiling brightly and then hugs him tightly, to which he smiles, puts his arm around her, and kisses her head.)

Riya- Everything looks so magical, doesn't it, Manik? Finally, everything is falling into the right place. We are getting married. Can you believe it?

Manik- Of course. Everything is so beautiful. And after all the problems and issues, we are together. And that matters the most.

Riya (sighing)- Manik, When I first heard about this proposal from Mr Dixit, I thought this decision would ruin my life. Marrying someone unknown, and that too when he is connected to Ashwin, the thought petrified me. I thought everything would be finished after this marriage. But I was so, so wrong. This decision to marry you became the best decision of my life.

Manik- And you know, when I saw your pictures for the first time, and Mr Malhotra provoked me, saying that I shouldn't care about the girl's feelings and just get married for money. I just couldn't do that after seeing and meeting you. I felt an unfamiliar emotion altogether. It was not sympathy, but I didn't know what it was. And now I would have been at a massive loss if I hadn't said yes to this proposal then.

Riya- But now nothing like that will happen. We won't be bound by some business contract. It will be love and marriage that will bind us. And I just want to stay happy now. I want to enjoy these 12 days without stress or worries. And I want it to be just about us, Manik.

Manik- And I will make sure that your wish comes true. These 12 days will be the most memorable days of our lives.

(They look at each other and smile widely, ready to marry.)

(The next day, Manik and Riya meet Mukti and Cabir and discuss their plan to get married again. In the middle of the discussion, Manik receives a call from his PA and leaves for work, a little tense.)

(It is 08:30 PM, and Riya is sitting in the hall, trying to call Manik, who has been in the office since the morning and has not contacted her even once. She receives a video call from Jahnvi, and she sighs.)

Riya- Hey, Mom.

Jahnvi- Such a low hey? Why are you so stressed?

Riya- I don't know what the matter is, but Manik was very tense when he left for the office in the morning, and we haven't talked since then. I called his PA, and he said there's some issue at the office, so he is busy.

(Shekhar comes and sits beside Jahnvi and takes the phone from her.)

Shekhar- Don't stress so much, Princess. I will see if we can help him in any way.

Riya- Thank you so much, Dad.

Shekhar- I don't want a thank you from you. Just stop stressing so much, and let me handle this now. And the only thing you have to do is always be happy.

(Shekhar leaves, and Riya sighs deeply.)

Riya- Agar office ka issue hai bhi to I know vo handle kar lega Mom. But usse baat nahi huyi hai to zyaada tension ho rahi hai. Pata nahi sab theek hoga yaa nahi?

[Riya- If it's some issue at the office, I know he can handle it well, Mom. But I haven't talked to him, so I am just worried. I don't know whether everything will be okay or not?]

Jahnvi- It's okay, Baby. Aur tune hi kaha naa ki vo sab handle kar lega. So let him do it naa. Itna stress mat le.

[Jahnvi- It's okay, Baby. And you just said that he can handle everything. So let him do it. Don't stress so much.]

Riya- I know, Mom. But I am just worried for him. I just want to reduce his stress in some way.

(While she is on the call with Jahnvi, an exhausted Manik enters the house, and Riya sighs in relief on seeing him.)

Riya- Mom, I will call you later. Manik is home.

Jahnvi- No problem. Just take care, hmm.

Riya- Yes, Mom.

(Riya cuts the call and sits next to Manik, sitting on the couch, pressing his head, trying to make the headache disappear.)

Riya (keeping a hand on his shoulder softly)- Manik... What happened? Is there some issue?

Manik- There was some problem in the morning. But everything is sorted now. A guy from the company was trying to leak some information to the rivals. We caught him on time. Otherwise, there would have been an enormous loss.

Riya- And all this gave you a nasty headache.

Manik- A terrible one, actually. And I didn't have time for lunch, so it just got worse.

Riya- You go and get fresh. I will bring you your dinner in the room.

Manik- Hmm. Thanks.

Riya- You don't have to, Manik.

(Manik goes to the room, and Riya goes to the kitchen to get dinner for him. When she reaches their room, Manik has already changed and is sitting on the bed, with the support of the headrest and massaging his neck and head. She just sits before him and brings a bite of the chapati to his mouth.)

Manik- I will eat myself. You also have your dinner.

Riya- I will have my dinner, Manik. You finish your food, and I will give you a good head massage. It will make you feel better.

(After dinner, Manik sits on the floor with his back towards the bed, and Riya sits on the bed behind him and starts to massage his head with hot oil. He lets out a deep sigh of relief as she massages his head, and he then closes his eyes to relax. The night ends with Riya asking Manik to sleep on the bed after the massage and her having her dinner after that. The day ends on a good note as they sleep peacefully in each other's arms.)
