(Manik wakes up from sleep and sits on the bed, drenched in sweat and gasping for air. He looks around the room and sighs in relief, realizing it was just a bad dream. Wiping the sweat from his face and drinking some water, he checks his phone and finds a missed call from Riya and that she has seen his messages.)

(He then sighs profoundly, and his phone rings and it's Riya video calling him. He answers the call with a smile on his face.)

Manik- Hey.

Riya (smiling)- Hey. Tum soye nahi abhi tak?

[Riya (smiling)- Hey. You haven't slept yet?]

Manik- Actually I wanted to but mujhe neend hi nahi aa rahi thi yahan akele... To bas socha ki tumhe puch lu if you are awake. Tum kya kar rahi thi?

[Manik- Actually I wanted to, but I couldn't sleep here alone... So just thought I would ask you if you are awake. What were you doing?]

Riya- Main actually ek patient ka case study kar rahi thi. Kal ek operation hai to bas ussi ke liye.

[Riya- I was actually doing a case study of a patient. There is an operation tomorrow, so just for that.]

(Manik looks at her momentarily and then looks away from the screen, avoiding eye contact.)

Riya- Manik you are okay, right? Has something happened?

(She shakes her head in disbelief, looking at him and then speaks up.)

Manik- I... I just don't know what's going on. I know everything is okay now, and all of them are behind bars for all the crimes they have committed, but still, I cannot take out this fear from my mind. About all the buts and ifs. What if they come back again? What if they try to harm you when I am not around? That's why I called you first of all after coming here. I just want you to be safe and happy and... with me... always.

Riya- I am there with you, Manik. Always and always. And your being worried about all this is completely fine. After all this, we cannot be normal suddenly. We all need time to adapt to the changes.
