Chapter-58

Voice- Hello, Riya.

(Riya turns back and looks on as Ashwin and Harshad come towards them, whereas Shekhar gets away from them and stands with his family. Manik keeps looking at them sternly and notices every action of them.)

Ashwin- Hume abhi pata chala Mr. Malhotra ke baare mein. Kaise hain vo ab?

[Ashwin- We just found out about Mr Malhotra. How is he now?]

Manik- He is fine. Thank you.

Harshad- But ye sab hua kaise? Matlab aise suddenly...

[Harshad- But how did all this happen? I mean suddenly...]

Manik- It happened because of stress. That is the only reason.

Ashwin- Chalo jo bhi hua par ab to vo theek hai naa. Aur vaise bhi Riya bhi to thi yahan par. Usne bacha hi liya hoga Mr Malhotra ko.

[Ashwin- Come on, whatever happened, happened. But now it is fine, isn't it? And anyway, Riya was also here. She must have saved Mr Malhotra.]

Harshad- Of course, Dad. Aur Riya ko to bachpan se yahi hai. Vo har bado wala kaam pehle hi kar leti thi. And that too with full interest. Be it anything. And she used to enjoy it a lot too. Haina Riya?

[Harshad- Of course, Dad. And Riya has had this habit since childhood. She would do every big work in advance. And that too with full interest. Be it anything. And she used to enjoy it a lot too. Right, Riya?]

(Riya looks at Harshad with a hurt expression as she knows what he is referring to, while Manik stays mum and looks at both Harshad and Ashwin with the same stern expression. Riya now takes a deep breath and tries to stay strong in front of them.)

Riya (thinks)- No Riya. Kuch nahi hoga. Tujhe weak nahi padna hai ab. Unko aur hurt mat karne de apne aap ko. And yaad hai naa Manik ne kya bola tha. Just stay strong and face them. Aur agar kuch zyaada issue hua to he is here naa. It will be fine. Yes. Stay strong.

[Riya (thinks)- No, Riya. Nothing will happen. You don't have to fall weak now. Don't let them hurt you more. And remember what Manik said. Just stay strong and face them. And if there are some more issues, then he is here. It will be fine. Yes. Stay strong.]

(Harshad smirks evilly, looking at Riya, to which Manik is about to say something to him but Riya speaks up before him.)

Riya- You are right. Aur school mein bhi to sab teachers yahi kehte the naa. And aap ka aur Aryaman takk ka saara school homework bhi to solve kar leti thi main. Jo aap se solve nahi hota tha. Right?

[Riya- You are right. And in school too, all the teachers used to say the same thing, didn't they? And I used to solve all of your and Aryaman's school homework too. Which even you were not able to solve. Right?]

(Riya's words make Manik smile while Harshad fists his hand in anger. He is about to come towards her when Manik comes and takes her in a side hug, to which she looks up at him.)

Veer- Wow, man! This is amazing, Riya. Tumhare bhaiyon ke to saare kaamo mein free ke marks lag jaate honge nahi.

[Veer- Wow, man! This is amazing, Riya. Your brothers would have got free marks for all this, right?]

Manik- I know right. Aur Riya tumne mujhe bataya tha naa ki Harshad humesha apne school ke sabhi projects tum se banvata tha. Haina?

[Manik- I know, right. And Riya, you told me that Harshad always got all his school projects done by you. Right?]

(Manik looks at Riya and blinks his eyes in assurance to her with a smile, and she smiles back at him. Meanwhile, Harshad is fuming in anger, so Ashwin speaks to cover up the situation.)

Ashwin (chuckling)- Ab bhai behen mein ye sab to chalta hi rehta hai. Koyi baat nahi. Hum to bas Mr. Malhotra se...

[Ashwin (chuckling)- All this goes on in brother and sister. No problem. We just came to meet Mr Malhotra...]

Manik- Vo andar hai, Mr. Dixit. Ye raha unn ka room. Jaiye mil lijiye.

[Manik- He is inside, Mr. Dixit. This is his room. Go, meet him.]

Ashwin- Haan, zarur.

[Ashwin- Yes, of course.]

(Ashwin and Harshad then go inside, and the Mehras wait outside to meet Raj afterwards.)

Riya (to Manik, slowly)- Thanks Manik.

Manik (slowly)- Well, I think mujhe your welcome ki jagha proud of you kehna chahiye kisi ko. Because chahe jaisa bhi cover-up tha, you didn't let them make you feel bad. Good job, Dr Riya.

[Manik (slowly)- Well, I should say I am proud of you instead of your welcome to you. Because no matter how the cover up was, you didn't let them make you feel bad. Good job, Dr Riya.]

(They both smile, looking at each other, and Manik kisses her head affectionately.)

(Ashwin and Harshad are still in the hospital but have gone somewhere regarding some work. Shekhar and Jahnvi have left, and Veer stays at the hospital with Manik. And Manik himself, right now, is attending some work call standing in the parking area as there were some network issues inside. As he finishes his call, he comes back inside. On his way back inside, he hears Ashwin yelling at someone in some room. He looks around confused and suspicious and looks around for him.)

(Manik is checking through the floor when he finally spots Ashwin and Harshad in a room where Ashwin is talking to someone angrily, and Harshad is asking him to calm down.)

Ashwin- I don't know, Mr Bakshi. Mujhe vo jagha chahiye. Chahe kuch bhi kijiye par vo mere naam kijiye. Aur agar vo Shekhar Mehra involved hai to usse samjhaiye. Mere kaam ke raaste mein aana band kare.

[Ashwin- I don't know, Mr Bakshi. I want that land. Do whatever you must, but get that land in my name. And if that Shekhar Mehra is involved, then explain it to him. To stop getting in the way of my work.]

(Ashwin angrily cuts the call, and Harshad takes the phone from him.)

Harshad- Dad kya kar rahe hain aap? Deal haath se chali jayegi humare. Ache se baat kijiye unse.

[Harshad- What are you doing, Dad? We will lose the deal. Talk nicely to him.]

Ashwin- Nahi kar sakta main ache se baat. Ye Mehras jab se humari life mein aaye hain sab barbaad kar rahe hain. Aur abhi dekha tumne vo Shekhar Mehra ko. Kaise aankhe dikha raha tha mujhe.

[Ashwin- I cannot talk nicely. Since these Mehras came into our lives, they have been ruining everything. And did you see how that Shekhar Mehra was glaring at me.]

(Manik shakes his head in disbelief that they are again talking about business and deals. He starts leaving but stops as he hears Ashwin take Riya's name.)

Ashwin- Aur vo Riya. Bohot zyaada udd rahi thi naa aaj. Phir vo Mehras. Pata nahi kyu the yahan pe. Inn ko apna sabak nahi mila tha itne saal pehle ki ab phir se mujhe pareshaan kar rahe hain.

[Ashwin- And that Riya. She was being too much today. And then those Mehras. I wonder why they were here. Didn't they get their lesson years ago that they are troubling me again.]

Harshad- Dheere bolo Dad. Koyi sunn lega to issue ho jayega.

[Harshad- Speak slowly, Dad. It will be an issue if someone hears us.]

Ashwin- Koyi drama nahi hoga Harshad. Aur iss baar agar Shekhar Mehra ne kuch bhi kiya naa, to main chodunga nahi usse. Aur uss Riya ko bhi. Dono ko pay karna padega iss deal ke liye.

[Ashwin- There will be no drama, Harshad. And this time, if Shekhar Mehra does anything, I will not spare him. And that Riya too. They will have to pay for this deal.]

Harshad- Dad kya karoge aap ab. Aap phir se...

[Harshad- What will you do, Dad? Will you again...]

(And what Harshad says leaves Manik shocked to the core. But he quickly goes as he sees Ashwin and Harshad coming out. Manik moves towards Raj's ward, thinking about everything he heard.)

Manik- How is this possible? It means Ashwin and the Mehras...

(He reaches outside Raj's ward and takes a deep breath.)

Manik (to himself)- Abhi nahi Manik. Let this hospital thing get over. Uske baad, I need to look into this matter.

[Manik (to himself)- Not now, Manik. Let this hospital thing get over. After that, I need to look into this matter.]

(He then reaches outside the ward and shakes his head in disbelief while looking at Riya, who looks tired and worn out. He goes and sits beside her, to which she looks at him.)

Riya- Everything okay?

Manik- Everything is okay with me, but tumhara mujhe samajh nahi aata Riya.

[Manik- Everything is okay with me, but I don't understand you, Riya.]

Riya (confused)- Matlab?

[Riya (confused)- What do you mean?]

Manik- I mean, why are you still here? Just look at you. You look so tired. Go home.

Riya- But Manik, I can't go like this. And how will you manage everything alone here? In fact, you go home and take some rest, and I will stay here.

Manik- And I can't leave you here. Especially when your family is still here.

(He says the last line slowly for only Riya to hear, and she sighs sadly.)

Riya- Manik tum itne stressed the, and you had a headache too. Main theek hoon yahan and kuch nahi hoga. Tum chale jao naa ghar.

[Riya- Manik, you were so stressed and had a headache too. I'm fine here, and nothing will happen. You go home.]

Manik- I am fine, Riya. And aaj itna kaam bhi nahi tha office mein but you were on duty naa. So just go home and rest and kal subha aa jaana dubara. In fact, can you send some of my stuff with the driver? Hmm?

[Manik- I am fine, Riya. And today, there was not even that much work in the office, but you were here on duty. So just go home and rest and come again tomorrow morning. In fact, can you send some of my stuff with the driver? Hmm?]

Riya (slowly)- Sure? Are you okay?

Manik- Yes, I am fine. Now go.

Riya- Okay.

(Meanwhile, Veer has been standing on the side and listening to all their conversation with a smile. He then shakes his head in disbelief and sits beside Riya on her other side.)

Veer- You know tum dono abhi itne cute lag rahe ho naa. Ek dusre ko convince kar rahe ho rest karne ke liye. How cute.

[Veer- You know both of you look so cute now. Convincing each other to take some rest. How cute.]

Manik- Hello, don't call me cute, okay? Call me anything but cute.

Riya- Okay, fine. Abhi ye discussion nahi karenge and main ghar jaa ke saara saaman bhejti hoon.

[Riya- Okay, fine. We will not discuss this now, and I will go home and send all the stuff.]

Veer- Ek minute. Ek kaam karte hain, main Riya ko ghar drop kar ke baad mein saaman le aaunga yahan. Aur uska bhi safely ghar jaana zaruri hai.

[Veer- One minute. Let's do one thing, I will drop Riya home and bring the stuff here later. And she also needs to go home safely.]

Manik- Are you sure about this, Veer?

Veer- Of course, bro. (to Riya) To main parking se car nikalta hoon tab tak tum bahar aa jaana.

[Veer- Of course, bro. (to Riya) So you come out till I get the car out of the parking lot.]

Riya- Okay.

(Veer leaves from there, after which Manik and Riya turn to each other. He cups her face with his hand and caresses her cheek gently with his thumb.)

Manik- Don't stress, okay? I will be fine here.

Riya- You too, don't worry. Sab jaldi theek ho jayega.

[Riya- You too, don't worry. Everything will be fine soon.]

Manik- And kal subha apne regular time pe aana. Jaldi aane ki zarurat nahi hai.

[Manik- And come at your regular time tomorrow too. No need to come early.]

Riya- Manik you...

Manik- Shhh. Agar tum meri baat nahi manogi to main tumhe kal bhi yahan nahi aane dunga.

[Manik- Shhh. If you don't listen to me, I will not let you come here tomorrow too.]

Riya- Manik aana to mujhe hai hi. It's my work.

[Riya- I have to come, Manik. It's my work.]

Manik- I will tell them you are on leave. Aur meri baat maan bhi lenge vo.

[Manik- I will tell them you are on leave. And they will listen to me too.]

Riya (chuckles)- Okay, fine. Aur baaki sab kab ghar aayenge?

[Riya (chuckles)- Okay, fine. And when will everyone else come home?]

Manik (sighing)- I will ask Cabir to take Mukti and Mrs Malhotra home.

Riya- Hmm. Okay.

Manik- Now go. And message me once you reach home.

Riya- I will.

(He kisses her forehead, and she softly holds his blazer in her fist. They look at each other for a few moments, and she then wraps her arms around him and hugs him tightly. He, too, hugs her back and closes his eyes, resting his chin upon her head. After breaking the hug, she takes her stuff, leaves, and he stays back.)

(Riya and Veer are heading to Malhotra Mansion. The ride was silent till now, but Veer takes a deep breath and speaks up.)

Veer- Kitna weird hai naa ye sab. Our families are business rivals, and we both are friends.

[Veer- It is so weird, right. Our families are business rivals, and we both are friends.]

Riya- But I think that is okay. Because jo bhi issues hai vo past se hai, we are not even at fault for them. To Jo bhi issues hai vo bado ko handle karne dete hain.

[Riya- But I think that is okay. Because the issues are from the past, we are not even at fault for them. So whatever the issues are, let the elders handle them.]

Veer- Of course. And vaise bhi Manik mujhe chodega nahi agar maine tumhe kuch kaha to.

[Veer- Of course. And Manik won't leave me if I say something to you.]

(They both chuckle at Veer's remark about Manik.)

Riya- Aisa kuch nahi hai. He just gets concerned. That's it.

[Riya- It is nothing like that. He just gets concerned. That's it.]

Veer- Riya main Manik ko naa apne business ke starting years se jaanta hoon. Mujhe Dad ne jab Manik se pehli baar milvaya tha naa to vo bilkul alag tha. Uske face pe bilkul smile nahi hoti thi. Pura din gussa karta rehta tha. I tried to be friends with him earlier, but he said he doesn't trust friendships.

[Veer- Riya, I have known Manik from the starting years of my business. When dad introduced me to Manik for the first time, he was completely different. There was no smile on his face at all. He used to be angry the whole day. I tried to be friends with him earlier, but he said he doesn't trust friendships.]

(Riya sighs as she remembers what Manik told her about Aditi, and Veer continues speaking.)

Veer- And abhi jo Manik maine new year party mein dekha vo bilkul alag tha. In fact, mujhe itna time lag gaya tha to have that friendship bond with him and look at you. You did that in days. And he cares so much about you.

[Veer- And the Manik I saw at the New Year party was completely different. In fact, it took me so much time to have that friendship bond with him and look at you. You did that in days. And he cares so much about you.]

Riya- I think jo Manik tumhe milne se pehle tha vo real Manik tha. When he met you, he was changed. And now he is trying to come back to his older self.

[Riya- I think the Manik before meeting you was the real Manik. When he met you, he was changed. And now he is trying to come back to his older self.]

Veer- I know, I know. I heard about that molestation case and all. Par usse milne ke baad mujhe nahi laga ki usne kuch kiya hoga. There may have been more layers to the case which were not revealed.

[Veer- I know, I know. I heard about that molestation case and all. But after meeting him, I did not think that he would have done anything. There may have been more layers to the case which were not revealed.]

(Veer stops the car as they reach Malhotra Mansion and Riya speaks up.)

Riya- I think that's Manik's part of talking about all that. Umm, come inside, please. I will get everything ready.

Veer- Yes, sure.

(Riya and Veer then go inside, and Riya gets the stuff ready, and Veer takes that and leaves. She packs food for Manik and Veer and all the other things they would need at night for their stay at the hospital.)

(Manik is sitting outside the ward, using his phone, when Neyonika and Cabir come out.)

Neyonika- I can't believe this, Manik. Your behaviour is so bad. He is your own father. Aur tum yahan aise guests ki tarhan baithe ho.

[Neyonika- I can't believe this, Manik. Your behaviour is so bad. He is your own father. And you are sitting here like guests.]

Manik (slowly)- Not again, please.

(He gets up and stands in front of her, folding his arms on his chest.)

Manik- Aur kitna kuch kehna hai aap ko? Aur main care nahi karta par aap to kehti hain ki aap karti hai. So why this drama haan? Apne husband pe dhyaan dene ki jagha aap ye sab suna rahi hai mujhe. Not done Mrs. Malhotra. Not done.

[Manik- How much more do you have to say? And I don't care, but you say you do. So why this drama? Instead of paying attention to your husband, you are saying all this to me. Not done, Mrs Malhotra. Not done.]

Neyonika- Tumhe kuch kehna ka koyi fayda nahi hai Manik. Karoge to tum vahi jo tumhari biwi kahegi.

[Neyonika- There is no use telling you anything, Manik. You will only do things your wife says.]

Manik (chuckling)- Of course. Biwi hai meri. Uski baat to sunuga hi.

[Manik (chuckling)- Of course. She is my wife. I will listen to her.]

Neyonika- Just stay quiet, Manik, please. Just let it be. Cabir, bring my stuff from home. I will stay here...

Manik- Aisa kuch nahi karna hai Cabir. Veer and I are staying here for the night. So tu sab ko leke ghar jaa.

[Manik- Do not do anything like this, Cabir. Veer and I are staying here for the night. So you go home with everyone.]

Cabir- Bhai aap aur Veer? Main bhi ruk jaata hoon.

[Cabir- Bro, you and Veer? I will stay too.]

Manik- Cabir, just take your mother and Mukti home. I will manage everything.

(Cabir sighs and leaves from there with Mukti and Neyonika. Manik looks at their leaving figures and chuckles.)

Manik- Abhi to kisi ko rukna tha yahan apne husband ke liye. Aur ab ...

[Manik- Just now, someone had to stay here for her husband. And now ...]

(He chuckles and shakes his head in disbelief. Veer and Manik stay at the hospital at night, and Raj gets discharged after a week. A few days pass peacefully with Raj recovering and everyone busy with their work, but it's just the silence before the storm. )

(A furious Neyonika enters the house, talking to someone on the phone.)

Neyonika- I can't believe this! What the hell is wrong with Manik? Manik!

(She calls out for Manik loudly, and Mukti and Cabir come to her in the hall.)

Mukti- Kya hua Mom? Aap itne tensed kyu ho?

[Mukti- What happened, Mom? Why are you so tensed?]

Neyonika- It's your brother again. Where is he?

Cabir- Mom hua kya hai aap batao to. Aur kis vajhe se aap itne gusse mein ho?

[Cabir- At least tell us what has happened, Mom. And why are you so angry?]

Neyonika- Humari second company ke investors ne back out kar diya hai. And you know why? Because Manik ne unko kaha ye karne ko. And in fact, vo log ab Manik ki company ke saath tie up kar rahe hain. Wow!

[Neyonika- The investors of our second company have backed out. And you know why? Because Manik told them to do this. And in fact, those people are now tying up with Manik's company. Wow!]

Cabir- To Mom aap ek baar Bhai se baat kar ke dekho. Vo unn investors se baat kar lenge.

[Cabir- So Mom, you talk to bro once and see. He will speak to those investors.]

Neyonika- Mujhe kuch nahi pata Cabir par ye Manik hume barbaad kar dega kisi din. Pehle hi usne shaadi ke liye Raj se company ke shares apne naam karva liye the. And now this. Hum kya karenge?

[Neyonika- I don't know anything, Cabir, but this Manik will destroy us someday. He had already got the company's shares in his name from Raj for the marriage. And now this. What will we do?]

(Mukti and Cabir look at each other, tensed, and just then, Riya enters inside. Mukti goes to her, and she looks on confused.)

Mukti- Bhabhi thank God aap aa gaye. Aap dekho naa Manik Bhai kya kar rahe hain. He has tied up with Dad's company's investors aur vo humari second company se back out kar rahe hain. Aap please Bhai se kaho naa vo aisa naa kare.

[Mukti- Sister-in-law, thank God you have come. Look what Manik bro is doing. He has tied up with Dad's company's investors, who are backing out of our second company. Please talk to him and ask him to not do this.]

(Riya sighs deeply and then speaks up.)

Riya- I won't say anything to him, Mukti. Usne jo kiya vo bilkul sahi kiya.

[Riya- I won't say anything to him, Mukti. What he did was absolutely right.]

(Mukti gets shocked upon listening to Riya's words, and Cabir approaches her worriedly.)

Cabir- Bhabhi aap kya bol rahe ho? Humara business barbaad ho jayega. Aur aap Bhai ko kuch kehne ki jagha unko support kar rahe ho.

[Cabir- What are you saying, sister-in-law? Our business will be ruined. And instead of saying something to him, you are supporting him.]

Riya- Main Manik ko isiliye support kar rahi hoon Cabir because usne kuch galat nahi kiya hai. Aur jab tum dono ko sab pata chalega to tum bhi usse hi support karoge.

[Riya- Cabir, I support Manik because he has not done anything wrong. And when both of you know everything, then you will also support him.]

Mukti- Aise nahi chalta hai Bhabhi. Sahi galat ke saath family ka bhi to socho naa. Aur vo Mom Dad ki mehnat hai. Bhai aisa kaise kar sakte hain apni family ke saath?

[Mukti- It doesn't work like this, sister-in-law. Along with right and wrong, think about the family as well. And that is Mom and Dad's hard work. How can bro do this to his family?]

(Riya is about to speak up when Manik speaks up, standing at the door.)

Manik- Kyu nahi kar sakta Mukti?

[Manik- Why can't I do this, Mukti?]

(They all look back, and Riya sighs sadly. Manik then comes in and stands beside Riya.)

Manik- Kyu nahi kar sakta main aisa? Tujhe pata bhi hai ki uss company mein kya hota hai?

[Manik- Why can't I do this? Do you even know what happens in that company?]

Mukti- Mujhe nahi pata karna kuch Bhai. Mujhe bas abhi ye dikh raha hai ki aap galat kar rahe ho.

[Mukti- I don't want to know anything, bro. I just see that you are doing wrong.]

Manik- Yahi naa. Yahi to problem hai teri. Tujhe bas vahi maan lena hai jo tujhe koyi kahe. Kabhi khud uske baare mein nahi pata karna. Kisi ne vo kyu kiya aur kya reason tha ki usko vo karna hi pada, vo jaan ne mein koyi interest nahi hai tujhe?

[Manik- This. This is your problem. You just have to accept what someone tells you. Never try to find out about something yourself. Why did someone do that, and why did he have to do that? You don't have any interest in knowing that?]

Cabir- Bhai jo bhi hai vo baat kar ke ghar pe solve ho sakta hai naa. Aise bahar market mein kuch karne ki kya zarurat hai? Aap Dad se baat kar lete.

[Cabir- Bro, whatever it is, it can be solved at home by talking, isn't it? What is the need to do something in the market like this? You would have talked to Dad.]

Manik- Baat kar leta? Baat hoti hai iss ghar mein? Log ek dusre se kuch discuss bhi karte hain iss ghar mein Cabir? Wow! Ye kab hota hai yaar? Mujhe to pata hi nahi tha.

[Manik- Talked? Does someone talk in this house? People even discuss something with each other in this house, Cabir? Wow! When does this happen, man? I did not even know.]

(Raj comes out of his room, listening to all the chaos outside, and chuckles, listening to Manik's statement.)

Raj- Tumhe kahan kabhi kuch pata chalta hai Manik. Tumhare ghar pe kya ho raha hai, tumhari family kya kar rahi hai, yaa tumhare best friends tumhari back pe kya kar rahe hain. Tumhe kahan kuch pata chalta hai.

[Raj- When do you even get to know something, Manik. What is happening at your house, what is your family doing, or what are your best friends doing behind your back. When do you even get to know something?]

(Manik glares at Raj angrily, and Riya interlocks her hand with Manik to support him. He looks at her and then at their hands and grips her hand.)

Cabir- Dad, please. Aap ye sab chodiye abhi and aaram se Bhai se baat kar lijiye. And vo unn investors se baat kar lenge. Haina Bhai?

[Cabir- Dad, please. You leave all this now and talk to bro. And he will speak to those investors. Right, Bro?]

Manik (sternly)- Nahi Cabir. Main aisa kuch nahi karunga.

[Manik (sternly)- No, Cabir. I will not do any such thing.]

Cabir- Bhai kyu kar rahe ho aisa? Aur aisa bhi kya kiya hai Dad ne? Kya hua hai aisa?

[Cabir- Why are you doing this, bro? And what have Dad done? What has happened?]

Manik- Mr Malhotra is involved in a drugs racket, Cabir.

(Mukti and Cabir get shocked listening to this.)

Riya- And that is why Manik asked the investors to back out from the company. And he hasn't said anything about it to anyone. He just convinced them to back out by offering them more profits in his company. Now it's in Dad's hands to shut that company and save his image.

(Mukti takes a deep breath and goes to Manik.)

Mukti- Bhai phir bhi ek baar Dad se baat to karte. Shayad vo maan jaate aur ye sab karna band kar dete.

[Mukti- You should have talked to Dad at least once, bro. Perhaps he would have agreed and stopped doing all this.]

Manik- Ye period bohot pehle nikal chuka hai Mukti. I have warned him 100 times to stop doing all this stuff. Aur jab nahi maane to maine ye sab kiya hai.

[Manik- This period has passed long before, Mukti. I have warned him 100 times to stop doing all this stuff. And when he disagreed, I did all this.]

Cabir- Bhai aap please rok do naa ye sab. Aur hum sab dubara baat karenge iss topic pe. And Dad bhi maan jayenge. At least don't spoil his hard work.

[Cabir- Bro, please stop all this. And we will all talk again on this topic. And Dad will also agree. At least don't spoil his hard work.]

Manik- It's all black money, Cabir. Koyi hard work nahi hai ye. Kitne logon ke saath game khela hai unhone aur kitne innocent logon ki life spoil ki hai. Chahe jitna marzi bol le but vo back out nahi karenge. Puch ke dekh le unse.

[Manik- It's all black money, Cabir. It is no hard work. He has played games with many people and destroyed many innocent lives. You can ask him numerous times, but he won't back out. Ask him and see for yourself.]

Mukti - Bhai please rukk jao naa. Aap apne Dad ke saath aisa kaise kar sakte ho? Aur vo abhi hospital se aaye hai. Unko itna stress mat do please.

[Mukti - Bro, please stop. How can you do this to Mom and Dad? And he has just come from the hospital. Please don't give them so much stress.]

Riya- Mukti tum log samajh kyu nahi rahe ho. He is spoiling lives with this. Kitne teenagers aur kitne youth affect ho rahe hai iss sab se. And what your parents did is wrong. Don't support them in all this, please. Chahe vo tumhari family hai, but what he did is wrong.

[Riya- Mukti, why are you guys not understanding? He is spoiling lives with this. How many teenagers and how many youths are being affected by all this. And what your parents did is wrong. Don't support them in all this, please. Whether it's your family, but what he did is wrong.]

(Mukti gets furious listening to Riya and speaks out loud.)

Mukti (rudely)- Bhabhi please yaar. Aap mat bolo iss family topic pe. Aur vaise bhi aap ko kya pata family values aur relations ke baare mein? I know ki aap kaisi family se ho.

[Mukti (rudely)- Sister-in-law, please. You don't speak on this family topic. And anyway, what do you know about family values and relations? I know what kind of family you belong to.]

(And what echoes next in the house is Manik's roaring, angry voice.)
