(She takes a few deep breaths to calm herself down and then looks at herself in the mirror.)

(Riya looks magnificent in her black knee-length one-piece dress, paired with black heels and a white clutch. She has long silky dark brown hair, which she has left open. She then checks herself in the mirror for the last time and then goes downstairs.)

(Manik is standing in front of the mirror and is styling his hair. He is looking dashing in his blue shirt, which he has paired with a white blazer.)

Manik- I just hope she agrees to the marriage.

(Just then, some voices from the past echo in his mind, and he gets still for a moment.)

Voice- You are a selfish person, Manik.

Voice- You don't deserve love, Manik. Everyone will hate you.

Voice- You will be the reason for our destruction.

(Manik feels suffocated and then rushes to the balcony to get some fresh air. He roams around the patio to calm himself but still keeps thinking about his past. He then runs to his room and removes a medicine bottle from the cupboard. Quickly taking out some tablets, he consumes them with water and then takes a sigh and lays down on the bed. He rests for some time and then gets up as he hears Neyonika calling him. He then goes down and sees the dining table full of different varieties of food.)

Manik- Wow! So many efforts for some deal. I must say, Mrs Malhotra, that money is your true love.

Neyonika- Of course, son. You can reach any height with money, which can buy you anything. So it is important to me.

Manik (sighing)- It became crucial that you and your husband destroyed everything else for that. I don't think that's fair.
