(Riya leaves early for the hospital, so she doesn't have to face anyone in her family. She reaches her cabin and sits alone, as there's still an hour before her duty starts. She sighs and leans back onto her chair, thinking about the marriage proposal.)

Riya- I just wish that this decision at least brings some happiness to my life. Let's just give it a chance. And one last chance to myself. And if I seriously don't deserve happiness... then I'll finish myself.

(On the other side, Manik gets ready and comes down to the hall, using his phone. He is leaving the house, still busy on his phone and meeting no one at which Neyonika and Raj look at each other, and Raj gets up from his seat.)

Raj- Manik.

(Manik palms his face on listening his voice and Raj takes a deep breath to control his anger. The former then turns back to Raj and gives him a sarcastic smile.)

Manik- Bad morning Mr. Malhotra. Kyunki subha subha aap ki shakal dekh ke iss subha mein kuch acha to bacha nahi hai.

[Manik- Bad morning Mr. Malhotra. As I have seen your face in the morning itself, nothing good is left this morning.]

Neyonika- Please Manik. Kabhi to apni ye silly taunts mat mara karo. Tum se kuch important baat karni hai hume.

[Neyonika- Please Manik. Just stop these silly taunts of yours, at least for some time. We need to talk to you about something important.]

Manik- Of course! Phir se koyi nayi deal hai ab? Ab kya karne wale hain aap dono?

[Manik- Of course. There's again a new deal now? What are you guys doing now?

Raj- You have to meet Riya today, Manik. We have said yes from your side.

(Manik's expressions soften a little on hearing about Riya, but he quickly covers it up.)

Manik (coldly)- Fine. Her address?

Raj- Dr Riya Dixit. Neurosurgeon at Mumbai Health Care Hospital. She's Asia's youngest, most successful neurosurgeon Manik and I don't want any drama. You can meet her at the hospital... I will ask her family to inform her about you coming too.

Manik- Hmm.

(Manik then turns around and starts leaving when Neyonika again speaks up.)

Neyonika- Don't create a bad image of your family in front of her, Manik. At least let the world respect us if you don't want to.

Manik-I also wanted to say the same thing to you, Mrs Malhotra. If you cannot love your son, then at least let others give him the love he deserves. Sab ladkiyan aap jaisi nahi hoti naa.

(Saying this, he shakes his head in disbelief and leaves from there, leaving Raj and Neyonika fuming in anger.)

(Manik is driving with his glares on. He then receives a call from his manager, who tells him that one of their clients has tried to play a game with them and he is involved with the rivals. Manik fumes in anger at listening to this and increases the speed of his car. He then calls someone and puts the call on speaker.)

Person- Yes, sir.

Manik- It's been days since you got a new assignment. I have a task for you.

(Manik then explains everything to the person.)

Person- Kaam ho jayega sir.

[Person- Your work will be done, sir.]

Manik- Good. Main details bhejta hoon.

[Manik- Good. I will send you the details.]

Person- Okay, sir. The work will be done.

(Manik cuts the call and sends the person the required details. He is checking something on his phone when suddenly a person comes in front of his car, and Manik applies breaks suddenly. The person was about to get hit by the car but was saved, but he sees that it's Manik Malhotra driving the vehicle, so he falls on the road and acts of being injured.)

Manik- What the hell!

(Manik removes his glares and comes out of the car to check on the person.)

Guy- Andhe ho kya tum. Dekh kar nahi chala sakte gaadi.

[Guy- Are you blind or what? Can't you see and drive carefully?]

Manik- Oh hello, it was your fault, okay? And my car didn't even touch you. I saw what you did, just know, so stop all this drama and get up.

Guy- Arey kon sa drama? Tumne mujhe apni gaadi se maarne ki koshish ki hai. Mujhe itni chot aayi hai aur tum mujhe dhamka rahe ho.

[Guy- Hey, what drama? You have tried to hit me with your car. I am injured brutally here, and you are trying to scare me!]

Manik (shocked and confused)- What!

Guy (shouting to gain attention)- Arey dekho dekho isse. Bada aadmi hai to kuch bhi karoge kya. Tumne mujhe apni gaadi se takkar maari hai. Bhugtaan to tumhe karna padega aur ilaaj ke paise bhi dene padenge.

[Guy (shouting to gain attention)- Look at him, everyone. You are a big man, so you will do anything? You have hit me with your car. And you have to pay for it and also give the money for my medical expenses.]

(People gather around and start taking pictures and videos of the scene.)

Manik- Oh, come on, man. There's not even a drop of blood here, and you are talking about expenses!

Guy- Tum mujhse aise baat nahi kar sakte. Main tum par case kar dunga. Tumhe mujhe paise dene hi padenge.

[Guy- You cannot talk to me like that. I will file a case against you. Pay me for this.]

(Manik then thinks something and smirks a little.)

Manik- You want money for your first aid, right? Then I'll only take you to the hospital. Because I have hurt you, right? Let's go then.

Person 01- Bilkul sahi keh rahe hain aap. Aap inhe hospital le jaiye.

[Person 01- You are right, sir. You should take him to the hospital.]

Manik- Bilkul aap inhe car mein back seat par bitha dijiye. Come on, be quick.

[Manik- Of course. You just make him lie down in the back seat. Come on, be quick.]

(That man looks around scared as he sees his plan to get money is failing, but he cannot tell the truth. He acts as if his leg is injured, and people make him sit in the back seat. Manik gets in the car and drives to the nearest hospital.)

(Manik enters and goes to the reception as that guy is still in the car and acting too.)

Manik- I need a doctor to treat a guy sitting in my car and behaving crazy. He needs help.

Receptionist- But sir, the on-duty doctor is busy with a patient. He is not available right now.

Manik- What? Call someone else, but I cannot tolerate that crazy man anymore. Just admit him here and do whatever you guys want, but let me go.

Receptionist- Sir, let me check if someone is free now.

Manik (bossy tone)- So do it quickly, girl. What are you waiting for?

(The receptionist checks the details and gets back to Manik.)

Receptionist- Sir ek doctor hain. Main unko bula deti hoon.

[Receptionist- Sir, there is a doctor available. I will call her.]

Manik- Make it quick, then. I don't have the whole day to waste on such random people.

(The nurse calls the doctor and asks Manik to wait. Meanwhile, the ward boys bring that guy in, and he still acts as if he cannot walk. Manik is getting more and more frustrated with his drama. After some moments, Manik gets up and heads to the reception again.)

Manik (gritting his teeth)- What the hell is this behaviour? I want to meet that doctor now. Call him now. Tell him that Manik Malhotra wants to see him.

Receptionist- But sir, the doctor is a 'she'. Her name is...

Manik (irritated)- Oh, whatever her name is. I don't care about that. Just call her here quickly, or else...

(Just then, the doctor finally comes there.)

Doctor- What's the emergency, Lisa?

(Manik turns around frustrated but gets utterly shocked as he sees that the doctor is none other than Riya Dixit. He is just looking at her while she is checking the patient.)

Manik (thinks)- Riya.

(Just then, Riya turns around and looks at him while he is left dumbstruck at how she got to know he took her name in his mind.)

Riya: You said something?

Manik- Umm, no. Nothing.

(Riya nods at him and continues her work of checking the patient.)

Manik (thinks)- Why is she not recognizing me? Dad didn't tell her about me? God!

(He is talking to himself when Riya comes to him and just looks on keenly.)

Riya- He is all okay. Why did you bring him here?

(Manik gets lost in her voice for a moment and suddenly snaps out of it.)

Manik (confused)- Huh? What?

Riya- He is all okay. Why did you bring him here?

Guy- Nahi madam. Main theek nahi hoon aur isse kahiye ki mere ilaaj ke paise mujhe de varna main police bula lunga.

[Guy- No, madam. I am not well and ask him to pay for my expenses; otherwise, I will call the police.]

Riya (confused)- Kon se paise? You are all okay. There's nothing wrong.

[Riya (confused)- What money? You are all okay. There's nothing wrong.]

Guy-Aap ek baar dubara check kijiye. Mujhe dard ho raha hai matlab kuch to gadbad hai. Aap isse paise dene ko kahiye mujhe.

[Guy- Just check me once again, mam. I am in pain, which means something is wrong. And ask him to pay the money to me.]

(Riya thinks something and looks at Manik, who is already unintentionally looking keenly at her.)
