Chapter 3
Samriddhi and Mr. Mehra, accompanied by Aryan, walked out of the coffee shop, their pleasant conversation lingering in the air. The sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow on their faces.
Suddenly, a woman in her mid-thirties stormed towards them, her face contorted with anger. It was Aysha Hira, Mr. Mehra's ex-wife. She approached them, her actions aggressive and confrontational.
“Come with me, Aryan! It's time to go!” Aysha said, grabbing Aryan's hand forcefully.
Aryan resisted, his face filled with confusion and distress. Ajay quickly stepped in, intervening to protect his son.
“Aysha, stop! You can't just barge in like this.” Ajay Mehra said, firmly.
He bent down to Aryan's level, trying to comfort him.
“Aryan, it's okay. Remember, I love you.”
Aryan's eyes welled up with tears, but he nodded, trusting his father's words.
“Okay, Papa. I love you too.” He said, teary eyed.
Mr. Mehra stood up, facing Aysha with a mixture of anger and determination.
“Aysha, we had an agreement. You can't disrupt our visitation schedule like this. Please respect our arrangements.”
Aysha's face twisted with frustration, but she reluctantly released Aryan's hand. Samriddhi stood beside Mr. Mehra, providing silent support.
“This isn't over, Ajay. You can't keep me away from my son.” She spoke defiantly.
“We'll discuss this later, Aysha. But right now, let Aryan go. Anyway, you are only allowed to visit him once a month.”
Aysha stormed off, her footsteps echoing with anger. Ajay Mehra watched her for a moment, ensuring she was out of sight. He then turned back to Aryan, his voice filled with reassurance.
“I am with you, beta. Never give anyone the power to make you cry, okay?”
Aryan nodded, giving a small to his father. Samriddhi bid her goodbyes to the father daughter duo, not before promising chocolates to little Aryan on their next meeting.
The conference hall buzzed with anticipation as influential leaders from various industries gathered for this significant event.
As Vihaan entered the venue, his confident demeanour and commanding presence drew the attention of those around him. Fellow executives and board members exchanged nods and respectful greetings as they recognized his influential position in the corporate world.
Taking his place among the distinguished attendees, Vihaan engaged in conversations with industry peers, sharing insights and discussing the latest developments in their respective fields. The air crackled with intellectual energy as ideas were exchanged and connections forged.
As the conference drew to a close, Vihaan reflected on the fruitful interactions and valuable knowledge he had gained. The event had provided a platform to showcase Chauhan Industries' accomplishments and aspirations, reinforcing its position as a key player in the corporate landscape.
With a sense of fulfilment and renewed inspiration, Vihaan left the conference, carrying with him a wealth of insights and connections that would continue to shape the future of Chauhan Industries. The experience had affirmed his role as a visionary leader, committed to driving growth and fostering innovation in the business world.
After the meeting, when Vihaan's mind was still consumed with the weight of corporate matters, his office door swung open, revealing the enchanting figure of his wife, Samriddhi. Clutched in her hands was a lunchbox, a gesture of her unwavering support and love.
As his eyes met Samriddhi's, Vihaan's heart skipped a beat. Time seemed to stand still as he took in her presence, dressed in a mesmerising baby pink saree that accentuated her grace and beauty. A rush of nostalgia swept over him, reminding him of the first time they met at her parents' house, where she had worn the same captivating shade.
"Vihaan ji," Samriddhi said softly, her voice filled with affection, "I brought lunch for you.”
Vihaan's lips curved into a tender smile as he replied, “Thank you, love. I am starving.”
A tender smile played upon Samriddhi's lips as she approached him, placing the lunchbox on his desk. The subtle aroma of homemade delicacies filled the air, tantalising his senses and evoking memories of shared meals and intimate moments.
Unable to resist the magnetic pull between them, Vihaan reached out and gently pulled Samriddhi into his lap. "You are my breath, my earth, and my sky," he whispered, his voice filled with love and desire.
Samriddhi's eyes sparkled with affection and desire as she responded, "We are meant for each other, Vihaan ji. In your love, I lose myself completely."
In that private moment, the confines of the office seemed to fade away, leaving only their connection, pure and intense. Soft whispers of endearment filled the room as their lips met in a lingering, passionate kiss.
In that private moment, the confines of the office seemed to fade away, leaving only their connection, pure and intense. Soft whispers of endearment filled the room as their lips met in a lingering, passionate kiss.
The outside world ceased to exist as they reveled in their affectionate embrace. Their bodies moved in sync, their souls entwined, igniting a fire that burned with the depth of their love. Though their surroundings were not conducive to such expressions of passion, the silent understanding between them was enough to ignite an inferno of desire within their hearts.
Reluctantly, they pulled away, their breathing laboured but their eyes shining with a shared understanding. "You are everything to me, Samriddhi," Vihaan whispered, his voice filled with reverence.
Samriddhi smiled lovingly, her gaze filled with adoration. "And you are my world, Vihaan ji.”
As Samriddhi departed, leaving Vihaan to savour the taste of her love in every bite of the lunch she had prepared, their connection remained palpable. The office walls held the secrets of their unspoken desires, while their hearts remained locked in a dance of love and longing until the next stolen moment when their passion could truly be unleashed.
Later that night, as they gathered around the dinner table, Vihaan's father, Mr. Rajesh Singh Chauhan, brought up an exciting proposition. A twinkle danced in his eyes as he looked at Vihaan and Samriddhi, who sat beside each other. Samriddhi was feeding little Aradhya ( Vihaan's brothers' daughter) who had her eyes glued to the tablet screen watching a Barbie movie.
"My son," Mr. Chauhan began, his voice filled with enthusiasm, "I have been thinking about celebrating your two-year marriage anniversary and your upcoming 34th birthday in a grand way."
Vihaan exchanged a glance with Samriddhi, their faces lighting up with anticipation. "That sounds wonderful, papa," Vihaan replied, his voice brimming with excitement. "What do you have in mind?"
Mr. Chauhan leaned back in his chair, a mischievous smile gracing his lips. "I was thinking of hosting a magnificent party, inviting all our close family and friends. It would be a joyous occasion to commemorate your beautiful journey together and celebrate your milestone birthday. Also, I was thinking to donate 10 millions to an old age home."
Samriddhi's eyes sparkled with delight as she added, "That sounds absolutely amazing, papa.”
Mr. Chauhan nodded, his gaze filled with pride.
Vihaan's heart swelled with gratitude as he looked at his father. "Thank you, papa. Your love and support mean the world to us. We couldn't ask for a more perfect way to mark this special occasion."
With each passing moment, the excitement grew, and Vihaan and Samriddhi's hearts overflowed with gratitude for their loving family and the incredible journey they had embarked upon together. The upcoming celebration would not only honor their union but also serve as a reminder of the blessings that surrounded them.
In their cozy bedroom, Samriddhi was engrossed in working on new wall designs for her upcoming projects. The soft glow of the bedside lamp illuminated the room, creating an atmosphere of warmth and tranquility. Lost in her creative world, she didn't notice Vihaan's quiet footsteps as he entered the room.
Feeling his presence behind her, Samriddhi turned around to find Vihaan standing there with a loving smile on his face. His arms wrapped around her waist, drawing her close in an affectionate embrace.
"Did you get your periods, love?" Vihaan whispered softly, his voice filled with anticipation.
A rosy blush colored Samriddhi's cheeks as she shook her head, indicating a negative response. A mixture of excitement and nervousness fluttered within her, mirroring the emotions reflected in Vihaan's eyes.
Vihaan's smile widened, his eyes sparkling with joy. "I have something for you," he said, reaching into his pocket. He revealed a small box containing a pregnancy test, his thoughtful gesture filling Samriddhi's heart with love and tenderness.
Gently, Samriddhi accepted the test from Vihaan's hands. There was an air of anticipation as they both waited for the result. Time seemed to stand still as Samriddhi followed the instructions, her heart pounding with a mix of hope and apprehension.
Finally, the moment arrived. As Samriddhi glanced at the result, her eyes welled up with tears. The test showed a negative result. She was genuinely hoping for a positive test. There was a flicker of disappointment in her eyes, and a single tear escaped, tracing its path down her cheek.
Vihaan held Samriddhi close, his arms providing solace and reassurance. "It's okay, my love," he whispered softly.
“Hum phirse try karenge, Sammy. Remember good things take time.” He smiled at his wife. ( We will try again.)
Vihaan's smile softened, his heart aching for his beloved wife. He gently wiped away her tears, his touch filled with tenderness and understanding. "I know you were hoping for a different result, my love," he said, his voice laced with empathy. "But remember, our journey is not defined by a single moment. We have so much love and so many beautiful possibilities ahead of us."
Samriddhi nodded, her voice choked with emotion. "I know, Vihaan ji. It's just...I had allowed myself to hope, and the disappointment feels overwhelming."
Vihaan held Samriddhi even tighter, offering her solace and comfort in his embrace. "It's okay to feel disappointed, my dear. Our dreams are still within reach, and we will keep moving forward, hand in hand. We have each other, and our love will always be our strength."
As Samriddhi nestled her head against Vihaan's chest, tears streamed down her face, carrying with them the weight of unfulfilled expectations. Vihaan's steady heartbeat served as a reminder of their unwavering connection, grounding her in the present moment.
"You are not alone in this, Samriddhi," Vihaan whispered, his voice filled with love. "We will face whatever comes our way, together. And when the time is right, our dreams will come true. Mahadev sab dekh rahe hai,"(The almighty Mahadev is seeing it all.)
