I woke up with a start. Blegh...this place reeks of medicine and blood. Kakashi was waiting by my bedside, reading. "I'm guessing this is the hospital." I said. "Yep. You passed out from blood loss. I'm also guessing you don't want to share the reason why." Hn. Nice guess. "Why are you here? You normally wouldn't wait for someone unless you had a specific reason to do so, considering you're related to Ayaka." I stated. "An analactical eye. Well, I guess I'll tell you. Starting today, you're legally my daughter." Huh? "Only if you agree." He added on in a rush. Wait, he adopted me? Yesh! "I've got no objections. " I said, smiling.

Hmm,I'm 3 hours late on my first day in the academy. MEH, who cares.

Well...it might not be the best idea to show up too late on my first day...welp, I'd better get going.I run out the door towards the academy.I wonder what the teacher's like?Hopefully not another Icha Icha paradise fan...oh, I'm here.I walked into the classroom. What the crap? There's a kid tied up on the ground. "Oh, you finally came.Welcome! I'm Iruka. Iruka Umino." Dolphin of the sea? Interesting. "Hi. I'm Akari Hatake. Why is there a kid tied up on the ground?" I asked. "Oh...don't mind him. He's being punished for something he did. Class this is the new student. Please raise your hand if you have any questions." A girl with pink hair raised her hand. "Stay away from my Sasuke-kun!" She threatened. What the hell? Ok, this girl's asking for it. "Sorry, I don't take threats from jackasses, and especially not ironing boards." She looked like she wanted to kill me. I smirked. "What, wanna hit me? Do it, no balls." I said. Then I walked to the boy that was tied up on the floor and cut him loose with a kunai. Then I walked past bubblegum head and sat down across from her. I could feel her staring at me. Then she went back to fangirling over a boy with duckbutt hair that was staring at me. Weird. I was sitting next to a boy with his hair tied into a ponytail and another boy that was eating chips. "Hi, I'm Choji, and this is Shikamaru. What's your name?" The boy eating chips asked."Hi, I'm Akari." I replied. "What a drag." Shikamaru said. "Wow, lazy much?" "I guess you could say that"

"Alright, since Naruto skipped class, we're going to test the transformation jutsu again." Iruka said.

The transformation jutsu? Easy. When it was my turn, I transformed into an exact copy of Kakashi. "Done." I said. Iruka was surprised for some reason. "Well done!" He said. I walked back to my seat. Wait there's another presence in here. Well, what do you know? It was gramps crystal ball. I turned around and mouthed "Really? What are you, a stalker? Oh, by the way say hi to the other jonin in the room with you for me."

Asuma's POV:

We watched as Akari turned back around and started chatting with some other academy students. Same old her and her sharp tongue...I sighed. "Kakashi, you need to work on that sharp tongue of her's." I said. He stared at me. "How am I supposed to fix that when she has Ayaka's genes in her?" He asked. "Hmm,good point." Ayaka was pretty famous for her habit of dissing and roasting people...I sighed again. Too late to fix that now. I wonder if she'll pass the genin exams. Wait, I'm talking about Akari here, I've got no need to worry. She can go on an S class mission and come back without a scratch. She definitely got her mother's genes when it comes to strength and smarts. Unfortunately, also like her mother...her innocence was taken away as a child...and was forced to grow up far too quickly.
