Chapter 28-
Sunshine and Rainbows.
Not.

"You go warn Ethan, I'll hang with the other two and see what we can do." I explain to Sarah, Sarah nods and we quickly walk over to where we find the boys.

"Ethan, I need your help." Sarah says to Ethan, "Uh, yeah." Ethan says, getting up. Rory looks offended.

"Sorry, man. Stage manager business." Ethan says, as Sarah pulls him away.

"Guys we need to-" Benny cuts me off, "Benny doesn't help posers." Benny says to Rory.

Rory then gets up as Benny picks up his comic, "How dare you defy the great Pranksy." Rory says walking off.

As I'm about to walk over to Benny, there's a gush of wind and Benny's once slightly tanned face, is now painted orange.

I laugh at his expression and Benny slams his comic book down. "It's not funny." Benny glares at me, but I keep laughing. He gets up and walks over to me, he then wipes his hand on my cheek.

I touch my cheek and look at my fingers, which are now painted orange.

"You son of a-" I cut myself off and glare at Benny. "You asshole." I say pouting and walking off the toilets.

I hear thumps of footsteps and Benny's suddenly beside me, people laughing at the sight of us- well more Benny.

Once we reach the he doors I look over at him, "I wish you luck captain." I say, saluting, "I won't let you down, first mate. We will get through this, together or not." He replies, grinning.

"See you on the other side." I say, nodding. He nods and we both enter the two different bathrooms.

"Geek and his gizmos." Erica says, "You seem happy..." She adds. Benny grins, "But that'll change." She also adds.

"Check it out, Bitey. Magic plus buttons equals star power. Like actual bright-as-a-star power. Kinda the best, right?" Benny asks.

While you know, I'm just standing there awkwardly, knowing Erica isn't Erica.

"All these techno toys seem to fragile to me." Erica says, knocking over a light, causing Benny to scream.

"Benny!" Ms. LOL calls from stage, "I'm sorry! It won't happen again. I hope." Benny says, taking the blame.

"Erica, what's wrong with you?" I ask annoyed, stepping towards her, Sarah walking over as well.

"Just leave me alone." Erica growls, walking off, pushing Sarah slightly. I quickly catch her and stand her up straight.

"That's not the Erica we know." Sarah says, "Yeah, that's kinda the Erica I know." Benny says, I bite my lip trying not to laugh at his joke.

This is a serious subject!

"Did Ethan say anything weird was going on with that mirror?" Sarah asks, "No, I haven't seen him all day." Benny replies.

Sarah looks over to me and I shrug, "Should I be as worried as you look?" Benny asks.

"We need to check out that mirror. Come on." I say, grabbing Benny and Sarah's hands.

We all quickly walk to Erica's dressing room.

"Okay, so vampires don't have a reflection because their curse blocks the souls inner light. So if Erica saw herself,  that means there's a soul inside this mirror." Benny explains.

Benny then unwraps this stick and it starts glowing, poking itself to the mirror. Benny starts walking over towards it as the mirrors glass ripples.

"Hey, I'm getting pretty good with this stick, huh?" Benny asks, "Okay, there's someone inside, but I can't tell if it's Ethan." Benny says.

"There's only one way to find out." Sarah says, waking up to the mirror, her reflection immediately showing.

"They deserve to hurt. All of them!" The reflection says, then Sarah's reflection ripples a little, "Benny! It's Ethan! Get me out of here! Touch the mirror and pull me through!" Sarah says for Ethan.

"Dude, I'm on it! Sarah, you have to touch the mirror. Ethan needs a supernatural connection!" Benny says.

Sarah places her hand on the mirror and the lights start to flash, "Hold on! I know a spell that can unleash a souls energy-" Sarah cuts off Benny.

"Just do it! Email me the explanation." She says, which was obviously Ethan talking.

"Okay, here we go! Zara-Koth mas Nara-Koth!" Benny says, a slight shinning from his hand into the mirror and immediately Ethan falls out of the mirror.

Benny helps Ethan up but I can't help to be confused about the random crack in the mirror.

"Hey, teamwork for the win." Benny says, "Thanks." Ethan replies. "Get away from my mirror!" Erica sasses as she walks in, "You cracked it." She says as she walks over to the mirror.

There was a sudden shine but it was too quick for me to exactly tell what happened. I walk over to pick up a broom and softly push Erica to the side, I then smash the mirror into shards.

"What are you doing? That's seven years bad luck." Benny says, I roll my eyes, "Does it matter? My life's already filled with bad luck, Benny." I reply.

Benny's about to say something but we look up to Erica, "Erica? Are you okay?" Ethan asks, "Of course I'm okay. I'm finally free. And stronger than ever. I think I'll start the show with the finale." Erica says, giggling and smiling to the door.

"Is it ok that I'm terrified?" I ask, "No time to explain. There was a ghost girl trapped in the mirror. Now she's inside Erica. We gotta stop her before she gets revenge on everyone." Ethan says quickly.

"For someone with no time to explain, you did a good job." Sarah says quickly, and we all run out, back to the theatre.

We all stand on the side lines, Benny controlling the lights, as we watch Erica.

Erica laughs, flying In the air holding a rainbow flag, "You tried to stop me! But the show must go on!" She then laughs.

Sarah and K walk onto the stage, her with her piercing yellow eyes and sharp fangs, me with my claws and teeth ready, eyes glowing blue. "Heads up, hippie." I say with a growl. Erica stops laughing, I growl and jump onto Erica, snarling my teeth.

Erica hisses and pushes me off, sending my flying, but I land on my feet, I glare at Erica, wishing Benny would hurry up.

Right as she's about to attack, a huge light hits her, after a few seconds of her just in pain, Sarah kicks her, hoping to do something.

But alas, she's fine.

"Get off my stage!" Erica yells at Sarah and I, ready to pounce, "Olivia! Fix your hair!" Ethan yells as he comes on stage with a mirror. Erica turns around and looks at the mirror.

"Now Benny!" Sarah yells, Benny hits the light onto Erica and she groans, a purple light appearing from her eyes, then it gets sucked into the mirror.

Ethan then faces the mirror down, Erica collapses, and the stare goes black.

The crowd breaks into an applause and I cough awkwardly.

" 'Kay, this'll hold her until we can release her for good and let her move on." Ethan says as he finishes painting over the mirror.

"Catch and release, huh? Very ecofriendly." Benny states, "Oh, well. It was nice to have a reflection while it lasted." Erica says.

"Yeah it was nice for you." I say annoyed, "The rest of us nearly died." Sarah says, "Again!" I add.

"Ah, come on. We had a pretty great opening." Erica says, and I had to agree. "Is Ms. LOL still apologising to everyone?" Ethan asks.

"Probably trying to explain that we went a little over bored." I say frowning.

But guess what!?
ITS THE HOLIDAYS IN TWO DAYS! (It's 14/12 ATM)
So I'll be able to update heaps, maybe even finish the book in the holidays!
