I formed my hand into a shape-like horn as I blew it. The injector began to shapeshift into its form. Spider-like legs slowly appeared as a drill covered in hot pink stripes did also appeared.

The injector redirects towards them as all of them quickly moved out of the was as the injector then slightly moved its drill bits onto the surface of the Earth.

Once I got a good look at them, (Y/n) wasn't beside Steven anymore. WHERE DID HE PUT HER?!

STEVEN [before the injector hits the surface]

I pulled (y/n)'s arm and ran inside the lighthouse as I brought her to the very first steps of the stairs.

"Stay here and don't leave this place," I spoke up as I let go of her arm and stared at her. I knew this was getting serious and this time, I won't let anyone hurt her. Not on my watch...

"Im not letting you pull this off!" She exclaimed, begging me to let her join. I didn't want her to be involved in my problems.

I promised Connie and gave an oath to myself that I would protect her. That I would protect her beautiful smile.

I won't let anyone get near to her. She was the first girl that I laid eyes on when we first met.

I won't let them get to her or to us (I actually made a joke about it but I don't wanna ruin the moment so continue on)

"That are gonna put an end to your happily ever after, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" I provoked.

"Woah, Woah, this has got to be a misunderstanding. In case you haven't heard, I've established peace across the-" he stepped forward. trying to convince me, but I cut him off.

"Yeah, yeah. I've heard" I sarcastically spoke, "I've had your little message to the universe on LOOP!" I kicked him down as the others tried to see if he was fine.

I groaned in pain, rubbing my head as the other gems recovered, "She's runnin' circles around us." Garnet spoke as Amethyst complained, "I'm resting, Give me a break."

"It really is her, but she can't be serious..." Pearl muttered, with a terrified look trying to process everything.

"Do you know her, Pearl? Can you tell us who she is?" I asked, wanting to find out who that mysterious gem is.

The gem heard us as her face turned into an irritated expression, almost wanting to burst.

The gem then grinned as she summoned her weapon, it was a Scythe.

She then kicked me far enough from the gems as she reverts back to her position, spinning her scythe around her.

She then sprang herself onto her injector, making the gems ducked. She made a U-turn going around the lighthouse as the gems once again ducked over, trying to avoid being hit.

It was too late, I saw them cut in half with shock and dead-like expressions as they all poof. I was all alone now.

Their gems dropped to the ground. I stood up and summoned my sheild, "That's Enough!" I shouted as I glared at her, "Aww what's the matter, Steven. Miss your friends already" she cooed, almost in a mockingly way "well don't worry. Your right behind them!" She declared.

She slashed me with her scythe, desummoning my sheild as pink lines appeared on my body. It then disappeared over seconds.

I checked myself for any possible injuries but they were none, I cockedly laughed, "That Was Nothing!" I implored as she chuckled.

"Then I guess you don't mind if I do it again." She was about to slash me as I covered my face with my arms with my eyes closed as I waited for the impact, but it never came.

I then removed my arms and opened my eyes only to see (y/n) holding some kind of chain weapon wrapped around the gem's scythe.

Her back was facing mine and what I could see on her back was something that I never expected to believe it.

It revealed her gem on her back?!? She was just like me this whole time? Why didn't Connie told me about this before?!?

"Leave him alone!" She warned as the gem hesitated a bit but manage to put up an evil grin. "Well if it isn't Poudre, I thought you were on my side!" The gem growled as she slashed her forcefully causing her weapon to disappear.

The gem then kicked her as hard as she can on (y/n)'s stomach leading her towards the legs of the injector causing a huge gust of dust around the area of the impact.

My eyes widened as I looked over to where she had sent her. This caught me off guard as the gem slashes me a couple of times, laughing maniacally.

"CUT IT OUT!" I shouted at the gem, feeling anger rising through my veins. I took a hold of her scythe preventing it from hitting me. One at the other...

It was whoever can be dominant over the two of us. "You don't poof, do you? Figure this much. Just Wait, your human half and Poudre won't stand a chance against my injector, Not after what I did to both of your gems." The gem remarked in a sing-song voice.

I grunted and struggled frustratedly trying to get a grip of her scythe, "What are you talking about!" I grumbled.

"You weren't always a powerful hero, were you?" the gem rebuked as she laughs uncontrollably.

I had enough of this and finally had the strength to steal her scythe and dominate over her as I slashed the gem with her own weapon.

The gem smiled creepily with her face now in half as she finally poofed. Pink dust surrounded a bit as it now revealed a heart-shaped gem.

That was the last of her...

The pink lines then disappeared as I shudder. I put away the scythe quickly and ran over to where (y/n) was to help her up. She was all bruised up with a bit of blood on the side of her mouth.

She was wincing from the pain that the gem had done to her, but never showed any weakness from giving in to death.

I walked over to her with my eyes tearing up a bit, she looked at me as she sighed and tries to stand but only to resolve on her falling to my arms.

I held her tight as she was now in my arms, still breathing...

"I c-can e-explain." Her voice was raspy and dry, she couldn't mutter out some words but I manage to understand a few.

I sighed, "No need to explain it to me, what matters to me is that you're safe." I had said sincerely as she looked at me with a shocked expression and turned away avoiding my gaze.

Even if she's covered in bruises, she was still stunning as I met her before...

I didn't care about all of this, I never wanted this to happen in the first place.

I held her waist to support her body as we walked over to where that pink gem was.

I set (y/n) down to let her rest for a bit, I looked over to the gem and sighed. "Better bubble you before anything else happens," I muttered as I bubbled the heart-shape gem.

But it suddenly pops, dropping to the ground once again. "What?" I asked myself, confused on why my bubble popped.

I tried bubbling it again. It didn't work this time...

"Where's my bubble?" I muttered as I tapped it once, twice. Nothing happened.

I picked it up and tried again, "Come on..." I concentrated on bubbling it again.

Steven struggled to bubble the gem. Not aware of the girl looking over to him with a worried expression.

"Steven! You're pressuring yourself!" (Y/n) said, trying to get up to stop Steven from forcing himself to bubble the gem.

Steven panted from putting to much pressure on bubbling the gem. "What's going on?" Steven asked himself as lifts his shirt up only to see that his gem is flickering a white light on its side.

He then looked over to (y/n) with an upset look. "(Y/n), can you bubble it?" He asked her as she shook her head which made the boy sighed and slouch a bit.

"It's all White's doing. She's the one that poofed her in the first place when she didn't do anything. We were just playing..."
