CONNIE

I was sitting on the floor trying to finish what I was going to read. (Y/n) wen't to check on Pearl and the others.

We weren't half-way with the discussion of Steven being The new Pink diamond and of course the adventures we had.

She hasn't met him yet and neither did he, So its maybe a good opportunity for them to meet.

I mean their both hybrids and Steven might never feel like his alone but I can't break the promise we've done, 10 years ago...

Maybe I'll let sis do it herself if she's ready...

The warp suddenly activates, which means Steven is back. "Steven, What took so long?" I asked as I stood up and both hugged each other.

We both backed out of hug as Steven sighed before answering my question, "The diamonds, they really want me to move in" He exhaustedly said as he slouch a bit and rubbed his neck.

"Why?" I asked, "Because they wanna smother me with attention 24/7" (I feel your pain Steven but its the opposite way) he said as he hugged himself acting as if he didn't want to experience it.

I giggled but before I could say it, a familiar voice already took the words right out of my mouth, "Sounds fun" (Y/n) teased as she was leaning on the doors, smirking.

I looked at her and playfully glared at her as she playfully rolled her eyes. "No, It doesn't," Steven groanedly said as he just noticed that it wasn't me that said it and looked towards my sister.

"Oh yeah, almost forgot you to introduce to my one and only sister, (y/n)" I happily said as I grabbed her arm and pulled her towards in front of him.

"Heya!" She closed-eye smiled at him as Steven was awestruck at first but shook his head. His face was still red...

"Uhh h-hey" he stuttered as his voice cracks, me and (y/n) giggled as he blushed in embarrassment. Looks like someone took a liking to my sister quickly...

I smirked towards (y/n) as she stared at me confused, "What?" She asked, "Oh nothing, just the two of you being a perfect couple" I mumbled the last part out as she was more confuse as before.

"What did you sa-" I cut her off just in case she doesn't have the idea of what I said. This girl is too clever to figure how crushes work...

"Mom is gonna call me soon and I'm glad I got to see you both before heading out and (y/n), your staying here" I said as (y/n)'s face went pale and side-hugged me.

"Don't leaveee, I don't wanna be stuck with that attractive boy I just met!" She whined as she regretted what she had said and blushes a deep red hue.

I chuckled, "You'll get there soon If you trust him enough" I whispered as she groaned, "That still didn't answer on what you said earlier and I bet you could kiss him on the cheek" She whispered.

"In your dreams sis, I bet you that he would kiss you later" Her face became red as she tried to tackle me to the ground.

The two had been whispering to each other for a while as I watched the scene unfold of them suddenly bickering at each other.

I wonder how it feels to have a sibling...

I thought as the two stopped and apologize to each other and looked at me, "Please don't tell me you witnessed it" (y/n) said as her face was quite red as before.

"Of course he witnessed it" Connie said as (y/n) playfully rolled her eyes as she was still hugging Connie.

"Soo, Your really going through with it?" I asked as (y/n) let go of the hug and walked beside Connie. "Of course! I've always wanted to go to space camp" Connie excitedly said as (y/n) sighed.

"You've already told me a million times about it on the phone. Does it have to be now" (Y/n) said as Connie chuckled and patted her head.

"I know, I'm just really excited!" Connie exclaimed, "And yet you told me that you've been to space multiple times..." (y/n) exaggeratedly said.

"And you've done way cooler stuff than just camp there" I added as (y/n) crossed her arms and agreed with me. "He's kinda right about that since you quote n quote told me about your adventures" (y/n) smirked as Connie playfully rolled her eyes.

"Our Parent's are doing what they can to support my interest and it's sweet," She said as she opened the sliding door.

"How come they support you all the way?" (Y/n) faked pouted which made me and Connie chuckled at her curiosity.

"Don't know, but Im sure they will support you too. Plus, I get all the freeze-dried ice cream I can eat" She happily said as she picked up her duffle bag.

"Now you're making me want to go with you!" (Y/n) whined as me and Connie chuckled at her reaction.

"But Sadie Killer and Suspects are playing tonight," Steven said as she tried convincing my sister to stay, HAH, I KNEW IT! HE LIKES HER AND I AIN'T JEALOUS ABOUT IT!

(Trust me, (y/n) is jealous but not showing it completely)

A smirk came rising on my face as I looked at Connie innocently, "Yeah, Isn't a rock show a little better than space camp" I said as Connie thought about the words of what she was going to say.

"It's maybe Equal to space camp" She said as I mentally facepalmed, Almost had her there...

Steven chuckled cutting my train of thought. A buzzing sound suddenly immited the room which means she's leaving, Connie brought her phone up and checked it in seconds.

"That's our mom, I should get going," She said as I was first to hug her, "I'm gonna miss you even if your gonna be gone for at least 5 days or so" I quickly said as Connie chuckled and patted my head.

We both let go of the hug and I of course let Steven hug her since their friends, but before she could leave, she whispered something to Steven which made him sighed and nodded with a red hue spread across his face.

She then wen't towards me and whispered in my ear, "Good luck with eachother~" she teased as she speed-walked down the house.

My face went completely red as I didn't notice that Steven was blushing, I went out and leaned on the porch and shouted. "OH MY STARS! IM GONNA TACKLE YOU LIKE I DID WHEN WE WE'RE YOUNG! BOOKWORM!"

"Whatever you say, Altair!" She shouted as she was gone from our sight, I covered my face with my hands as I muttered some curse words.

"That wen't a little unexpected than I thought it would be" Steven chuckled as I sighed, "And now you're stuck with me"

"I don't see the problem with that, besides I promised your sister something" He said as he grinned at me. I mentally blushed at his cute grin, Wish I could see that grin every day...

He grabbed my arm as we went inside, he took a look of the picture frame he had and showed it to me, I smiled at the picture since Pearl looked clueless as the other's looked normal.

He floated like a leaf on his bed gently as I sat down on his bed and listened.

He stood up and grabbed my hand as he created a bubble around us rolling down the stairs, he held my waist tight securing me from rolling with the bubble.

The bubble then popped when we were on the platform, I tried my best to stay still in my place since I was alarmed but its good thing a certain someone had a good grip on my waist preventing me from falling down the stairs.

We walked down the stairs as we reached the lower porch, a cat was there sitting waiting for something to happen. I petted the cat as it purred softly,

In the distance beside the ocean, I could see those two clowns bickering while Pearl was trying to piece together a note from the bass as Greg was relaxing.

We ran towards them as Steven called out as I went towards the bickering half-gems.

"WHY YOU LITTLE-" I was cut off by a familiar and certain Poudretteite "Guysss, Stop with the fighting. Will you?" (Y/n) whined,

"Ok... We'll stop" Recker bluntly said as I glared at him for shoving a bucket of sand on my face.

She sighed as she slouches a bit, "I'll just be there with Pearl and the others for a while" She said as she walked off.

"What's her problem?" I asked as Recker smack my head harshly, "Ya dingus, haven't you figure it out already" He said as I rolled my eyes.

"And why should I know"

"Ugh... For the love of- Your so much alike with Celine when she's pissed off"

PEARL

"Excuse me, B-A-S-S spells bass. Right (Y/n)?" I asked as she was unsure of her answer, "Your choice" she shrugged as she sat down beside Steven.

"Your the boss," Greg said as Steven chuckled, "Heck yes, I am" I sassily said as I jumped on the roof of the van and started telling my story.

Lion then came and lay down in front of (y/n) and Steven, (y/n) was startled at first but she manages to calm down.

"Hey buddy," Steven said as he patted its head, "We're heading into town"

"See you at the concert tonight?" Greg asked as Steven smiled. "Wouldn't miss it for the world, (y/n) are you coming?" He asks as (y/n) tried to reason out to stay. Poor girl, she had so many responsibilities when she was growing up...

"I uhh..."

"C'mon, It'll be fun" Steven said as he held out a hand for her, smiling. She looked over to me as I gave her a warm smile.

"I'll take care of those boys for you, just go have some fun out there," I said as she smiled and took Steven's hand as they dove in lion's mane.

"Looks like Steven found himself a girl of his dreams," Greg said as he chuckled, "Looks like you noticed it too, he was smiling dreamily at her the whole time," I said as Greg nodded.

A wind went pass by us which means their fighting again, I set the instrument down on the van and summoned my spear as Greg looks at me confused.

"Don't tell me those two are fighting again?" he asked as I sighed, "Apparently they are, I wonder how (y/n) was able to handle those two"

"Probably scolding them like kids"

"It could be" I ran towards the two as I tried to stop them from fighting If only Garnet was here to stop these two from hurting each other...

I was humming to the song as (y/n) looked around, amazed. We then stop near the tree of where lars will be,

Here We Are!

We were floating mid-way in the air when we jumped out of lar's hair, "Woah!" (Y/n) yelp as Garnet caught us with two chairs she had.

"I saved you both a seat and the names Garnet. (Y/n)" Garnet said as (y/n) cutely smiled, Lars sets down two pieces of ube cake on the table.

"Nice to meet you, Garnet," she said, "Thanks Garnet" I turn to the off colors "hey guys. What'd we miss?" I asked as Garnet set us down and smiled,

"You two were just in time for my favorite part of my story," Garnet said as she starts, I didn't know until now that we were still holding hands.

Suddenly they were fusing...

"Here We Are In The Future" I sang along, "lemme just save this" I bubbled the ube roll that lars had just passed over as I looked over to (y/n) who was blushing.

Looking down on where our hands are intertwined, I blushed crimson red as I removed my hand on hers and looked away trying cool my face down.

"H-hey any idea what Amethyst is up to?" I asked as I tried to cool down the atmosphere I'm in. Garnet chuckled as she adjusted her visors, "I have every idea what everyone is up to and may I borrow (y/n) for a while" she asks.

"Umm actually..." "She hasn't finished eating her cake and she is quite enjoying it" at the corner of my eye, I could see stars on her eyes as she happily eats up the ube cake.

I sighed and nodded, "Don't worry, I can look after her and take the warp. We'll follow" Garnet reassured me by putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Ok then, thanks again Garnet And (Y/n), Garnet will look after you for a while," I said as she looked at me and nodded, she had a few crumbs on her face so I decided to wipe off the crumbs on her face with my thumb.

What I didn't notice that our faces were close. I decided to make a run for it, "Bye!" My voice cracked for a bit but didn't bother as I ran to the nearest warp pad.
