Enough
By the time Gin returned back home, it was already late at night. All the lights were extinguished and everyone had already tucked in for the night. Gin quickly took a cold bath to wipe the sweat off of his body and changed into sleeping clothes.
When he reached Yasu's door he slowly crept in and made his way through the dark. Seeing the familiar shape under the covers, Gin smiled deeply and crawled into be with his beloved. Without any encouragement, Yasu turned towards Gin and maneuvered his way closer to him. Gin's smiled deeped as he held Yasu closer to his body. He took a deep breath and enjoyed Yasu's natural scent. It gave him a sense of comfort and happiness.
"Everything go well today?" Yasu mumbled.
"Yes, we can talk about tomorrow." Gin whispered. "Go back to sleep."
Yasu didn't answer Gin back and quickly fell back asleep. While Gin stayed up for another hour thinking and planning of ways to help Yasu.
By the time he woke up, the man who slept so soundly by his side was no longer there. The place where he slept was cold, however there was a big wooden box in his place. Gin looked at the wooden box with confusion, however he still sat up in bed and reached over to place it on his lap.
A small smile shines through as he opened the gift. Inside is a light blue robe, embroidered with white and blue clouds. Gin touched the embroidered clouds with the slightest touch, fearing that he would damage it if he put too much pressure on it.
Yasu happened to open the door and this was the first sight he saw. Gin's shining smile, his gentle hands cascading over the silk threads, and his eyes mesmerized by Yasu's gift.
"Why don't you try it on to see how it fits?" Yasu said.
Gin quickly turned his head towards the soft voice that called him back from his thoughts. The scene that captured Yasu's heart even more was seeing the smile on Gin's lips and the light that shone through his eyes as he clutched the robe close to his heart in surprise.
"When did you get here?" Gin asked as he stared loving at Yasu.
"You like your gift?" Yasu asked as he waited by the door.
"Like? Of course I like!" Gin quickly said. "I love it!"
"Then try it on to see if it fits."
Gin quickly threw the blanket off of him and stood up. He wore the robe with such great care that it made Yasu chuckle. It was as if Gin was worried of the robe ripping if he put on the robe too fast or too harshly.
Yasu made his way towards Gin and helped him put on the robe.
"You're wearing this robe as if I made it shabbily." Yasu complained as he dressed up Gin.
"No! It's just too precious! I don't want to ruin it." Gin quickly clarified.
"If it gets ruined, I'll make you another one."
Gin quickly grabbed a hold onto Yasu's hands to stop his movements and looked down at Yasu with serious eyes.
"Will you?" Gin asked with a curious gaze. "Make me another one that is."
Yasu slight snorted at Gin's words and nodded his head.
"Of course I'll make you another one. I'll even make you a full set of clothes."
"Really?"
"Of course. I'll make you a set of close every year." Yasu said as he smiled up at Gin.
Gin leaned over Yasu and held him tightly against his body. He was so happy at Yasu's words that he didn't know how to express himself.
"No one's ever made me clothes before." Gin told him. "As an orphan, I never had anyone make me clothes. We always wore clothes that were donated or handed down. When I joined the army and saw other soldiers talk about the clothes their mothers, fathers, wives, or husbands made for them, I was always envious of their fortune. I always wondered when it would be my time for my loved one to make me clothes."
"You don't have to be jealous of others anymore." Yasu said as he rested his head on Gin's chest. "You have me now, and I'll make you a set of clothes for the rest of our lives."
Gin squeezed Yasu closer to his body to quell the shaking of his body.
"You mean it?"
"Of course I mean it. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't."
"Then it's a promise." Gin said as he pulled away to look into Yasu's eyes.
"I promise."
"You can't take it back."
"Never." Yasu said as he smiled at Gin.
Gin looked into Yasu's eyes as if he was looking for something, but he could only see Yasu's clear and loving eyes which made him want to keep Yasu by his side even more.
"You're making me into a greedy person." Gin whispered as he cupped Yasu's cheeks. His thumb slowly caressed Yasu's soft skin.
"How so?"
"I suddenly want to keep you all to myself." Gin confessed.
Yasu opened his mouth to tell Gin that he was all Gin's, but Gin covered his mouth with his. The deep kiss pushed Yasu's thoughts out of his mind and the words he was about to say to the back of his throat.
The kiss slowly broke apart as they heard footsteps coming closer to their room.
"Thank you for the gift." Gin said as he made light butterfly kisses on Yasu's face. "I love it."
Yasu opened his mouth to speak however it was once again disrupted by the knocking of the door.
"Young Master, Sir Gin. The table is set and it's time to break your fast." Aki said through the door.
"We'll be down soon. Thank you." Gin answered.
Gin pulled away and straightened his robe.
"How do I look?" Gin asked.
"Very handsome." Yasu told him as Gin showed off his new robe.
"It's specially made by my beloved, so of course I'll be more handsome!" Gin said as he pushes Yasu towards the door. "I'll clean up first, you go downstairs and wait for me. The others must have something to say to you. I'll be down soon."
"Alright, I'll see you downstairs." Yasu said as nods his head and leaves the room.
Once the door closed the shining smile on Gin's face slightly dims. He knew, without a shadow of doubt, that he would have to share Yasu with others. Not only was Yasu a Young Lord, but he was powerful and wealthy. It is only right for him to have more than one husband and a wife.
Gin pressed his hand over his left chest as if putting pressure on his chest would calm his heart down.
"Being with him is enough. Loving him is enough. Growing old with his is enough. Having a place by his side and a place in his heart is enough." Gin softly said to himself. "Enough already... don't be so greedy."
