Snowkit looked out of the camp, thinking about going out of camp. Gathering up all her bravery she ran out, hidden in the snow.
"So this is what it's like..." Snowkit thought out loud.
"SNOWKIT!"
She jumped around only to see Reedkit.
"You scared me!" Snowkit snapped.
"Sorry." Reedkit said, lowering his head as if Snowkit was the leader of RiverClan.
"It's ok."
"You should get back in camp, Darkpaw is going hunting."
"So? I'll blend in with the snow!" Snowkit said before running off. Her paws rubbing against the Leaf-Bare snow. The deeper she ran into the forest, the more she could hear fighting.
"SNOW-"
"SHHHHHHH!" Snowkit snapped. "Reedkit be quiet, They might hear us!"
Reedkit nodded. Snowkit looked at the Warriors fighting a fox. She used one of the fighting moves on Reedkit, her claws sheathed. Reedkit did the move on Snowkit only he missed.
"Snowkit, Reedkit, get back to camp!"
"Told you." Reedkit laughed, it was Darkpaw that had found them.
"It was your idea!" Snowkit said, nothing was going to stop her from becoming an apprentice, as she ran off.
Snowkit reached camp, losing the two toms on the way. As she walked in she saw the leader, Greenstar. Remembering she was only five moons old, and the next sunrise she would be six moons old, she smiled, only to have it crushed that she would have to wait a moon for Reedkit to become an apprentice.
Snowkit pushed her bad thought to the back of her mind, Reedkit was her friend and she didn't want to feel sorry that he would become an apprentice a moon after her.
