Once everyone split from the meeting, Prompto decided to remain in the diner and scroll through all the pictures he had taken throughout their journey across Eos. When he stopped on a picture of (Y/n) and Noctis laughing together, he felt a tinge of jealousy. The sharpshooter has been wanting a relationship like theirs for a while and couldn't help but feel envious of Noctis.

Prompto was so absorbed in his camera that he failed to notice the girl approaching his table. She stood at the end, staring down at the camera's screen in admiration. "Wow, you're pretty good at taking pictures."

The boy's head snapped upwards and he realized it was Famine. Her jade eyes bounced up from the screen as she gestured to the seat across from him. "May I?"

"U-Uh, yeah, o-of course," Prompto stuttered nervously, a faint blush on his cheeks. Famine sat down and Prompto angled the camera to where they both could see the screen.

As the shutterbug scrolled through the pictures idly, his eyes ket traveling over to the Horseman. Her golden locks cascade over her shoulders and pooled on the tabletop. He admired her beauty as she concentrated on the pictures. This was the first time he had met Famine while he already had a brief encounter with War and Pestilence.

"Have you ever thought of being a professional photographer?" Famine suddenly asked.

Prompto answered the girl's question with his own. "You think they're that good?"

"Yeah! I think you've got what it takes to be a professional photographer. I used to visit galleries when I lived on Eos and I've never seen beautiful shots like these. You're even better than most professionals!"

The boy was speechless at her compliment. He stared with wide blue eyes, not even trying to hide the fact he was staring like he was a few minutes ago.

Famine tilted her head in confusion as to why he was looking at her with shock. "Are you doubting yourself, Prompto?"

The sharpshooter was taken aback at how she knew his name, but he didn't question it. His shocked expression was replaced with a crestfallen one. "I'm not that good."

"Yes, you are. Stop doubting yourself! If you think like that, you'll always put yourself down and let others walk all over you. Trust me, that's how I ended up in the hands of the Daemon King. One day, you'll snap and do something you'll regret if you don't believe in yourself from the start."

Prompto took Famine's words to heart and smiled at her. "Thank you."

Outside the diner, Pestilence stood by the gate that enclosed the outpost. She stared up at the starless sky, a solemn expression written across her features. She sighed as she closed her eyes and lowered her head. In the distance, she could see flicks of daemons meandering about in search of anything or anyone to kill.

From behind, Pestilence heard footsteps approaching her. She glanced over her shoulder and saw Ignis. A smile graced her face as he reached her side. She realized he no longer used his cane to get around. "Glad to see you are doing well, Ignis."

"Only time will tell how well I will truly manage with such a hindrance," the tactician responded.

"I don't believe blindness is a hindrance. Though you may not be able to gaze upon the world with your own eyes, beauty is not only displayed by sight."

"Yes, you are correct." Ignis was silent for a few seconds before becoming curious of the woman beside him.

Pestilence picked up on his silence and glanced at him with a smile, knowing what he wanted to ask before the question could leave his lips. "You're curious of my appearance."

Ignis was flabbergasted at her deduction skills, but he was able to keep a straight face. "I did not intended to be rude."

The girl smirked while laughing. "Oh, please. You're not being rude at all. Hopefully, you'll be able to create a mental image with such little information." The Horseman trailed off with her thoughts for a brief moment before sharing details about herself. "Well, I have white hair that reaches the middle of my back. Lilac eyes—strange, I know. Height-wise, I am five foot two."

"A bewitching image, indeed," Ignis said without thinking.

He almost regretted his words until he heard Pestilence giggle. She placed a hand on his arm, squeezing it gently. "My, my, you're a flirt."

The strategist adjusted his glasses as he covered the embarrassment with his stoic expression. "Forgive me if I made you uncomfortable."

Pestilence couldn't help but grin like a child with a new toy. "Nonsense! I'm quite flattered."

A rare smile spread across Ignis face as he spent the remaining of his free time with the Horseman.

Inside the garage, Gladio was meandering about. He knew he needed to gather his strength, but he was thirsty for some action. As he was about to leave the garage, the shield heard faint humming. He turned and reentered the garage to find the source of the gentle humming.

In the back corner of the garage, there was a stack of boxes. On top of the boxes sat War as she hummed and stared at something in her hands. Gladio couldn't get a good look at the item as he stood in front of the boxes.

War knew the bodyguard was standing a few feet away, but she didn't look up as she huffed in annoyance. "What do you want?"

Taking a few steps closer, Gladio leaned against the two stacked boxes the girl sat upon. "Y'know, you're nothing like your sisters."

"Oh?" She scoffed. "Is it because I'm not as pacific as Pestilence, cheerful as Famine, or level-headed like Death? Choose your pick, Gladiolus, for I am not any of those. I'm hot-tempered, careless, and cold hearted. If you knew my past, you'd know why I act in such a manner." Her crimson locks blew in the faint breeze that whipped through the garage as she twisted her head, revealing her piercing blue gaze.

"You certainly have a spitfire personality. Nothing wrong with that," Gladio stated.

"You also have a fierce temper. I could tell when we first met and how you snapped at me. Guess it comes with the territory," the Horseman said, referring to his job as Noctis' shield.

"Someone has to be cautious around weirdos," Gladio chortles, crossing his arms.

"Now I'm a weirdo?" War huffed in frustration.

"Yeah, you are," he lightheartedly responded.

The Horseman gritted her teeth and threw what she had in her hand at Gladio's head. It bounces off his forehead and landed a few feet in front of the garage, rolling until it came to a stop just outside. War crossed her arms, glaring fiercely at the bodyguard. He ignored the glare he was receiving and left the garage to pick up what the girl had thrown at him.

Picking up the small object, Gladio saw it resembled the summoning orb (Y/n) had given Noctis after first meeting her. Instead of it being an inky color, it was a fiery red that matched War's hair. With the small object in his hand, he headed back into the garage.

War continued to glare daggers at Gladio as he stood in front of her with only a few inches of space between the two of them. The shield opened his hand, revealing the scarlet orb in his possession with a smirk. "Think you dropped this."

"No," War growled, snatching the ornament from his large hand. "It bounced off your giant forehead."

Gladio was more amused at the insult than offended. "Whatever you say, Spitfire."

Noctis and (Y/n) were resting beside a pile of crates located in the parking lot of the outpost. Death had her back leaning against one of the boxes while Noctis' head rested in her lap, his gaze staring up into the deep darkness of the sky.

The Horseman's fingers were tangled in the boy's raven hair, gently stroking the soft locks. Her eyes were casted to the sky, as well, as she hummed the same tune War did.

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

The soothing hymn seemed to have an effect on Noctis as he had a difficult time keeping his eyes open from her ministrations and the melodic humming. His eyes gradually closed, allowing himself to be lulled to sleep by the girl he deeply loves.

(Y/n) glanced down at Noctis when he heard a gentle snore escape his throat. A smile crept onto her face as she eyed the sleeping boy. She leant down, nuzzling her nose against his as he slept. "I love you, Noctis."

Death's voice was barely above a whisper, but her words were enough to wake Noctis. (Y/n) was taken aback when his eyes suddenly opened and radiated in adoration. "You tryin' to kiss me?" He teased with a snort of laughter.

The Horseman giggled, grinning down at him. "You want one? Better work for it, Your Majesty."

Noctis' hands gravitated towards her face and cupped her cheeks. "Don't you dare start calling me that."

"And why's that?" (Y/n) inquired, her cold hands covering his own as they cradled her cheeks.

"Because you're gonna be my queen."

"Huh?" She inaudibly gasped, her (e/c) eyes filled with shock as they nearly popped out of her head.

Not wasting another second, Noctis pulled her face down and kissed her passionately. Through even her cold skin, (Y/n) could feel her entire body heating up  form the passion behind the kiss. It didn't take long for Noctis to deepen the kiss and cause the Horseman to feel her body melt under his touch. The couple wanted the blissful moment to continue, but they had to pull apart when they needed air. Death panted as she tried to catch her breath. Noctis simply smirked at her speechless expression before chuckling. "Is it that shocking?"

"A lot, actually. That means..." (Y/n) trailed off nervously.

"Yeah, it does. Just... wait for me to actually propose properly."

The girl laughed at his words. "Guess right now isn't the ideal time for a proposal. I'll be waiting eagerly for you to propose, Noctis. Just don't keep me waiting too long."

"Trust me," the soon-to-be king said. "I won't."

A few hours passed and the boys were all properly rested. The Four Horsemen awaited them in the parking lot, their steeds ready to depart when needed. When the group spotted the four horses, they were confused as to how they were going to bring the Crystal. "How're we supposed to transport the Crystal with four horses?" Gladio questioned.

Pestilence stepped forward and smiled at him. "My sisters and I have that covered. We've attached our summoning orbs to the Crystal and will teleport it to the Crown City when needed."

"Hold on, I thought summoning orbs only worked one way," Noctis voiced his doubts.

Then, Famine stepped forward. "It's possible to reverse mana flow for a short while and cause the orbs to work in reverse, resulting in the Crystal being teleported from Hammerhead to Insomnia without incident."

"Won't it be pulled in four different directions?" Gladio asked.

War shook her head. "No. The orbs may be four separate objects, but they were harvested from the same crystal. They act as one when they are in close vicinity of all four pieces."

"At least we won't have to lug it around the city while fighting daemons," the soon-to-be King sighed in relief.

"Yeah. It'd be impossible to keep an eye on the Crystal and fight daemons at the same time," the shutterbug stated.

"We are fortunate to have the aid of the Four Horsemen," Ignis said.

Famine smiled sweetly as she interlocked her hands. "Let's get this show on the road!"
