Chapter 53: Bickering

The next day, Jimin was sitting on his couch in silence. He managed to wake up one hour earlier than he was supposed to and got ready for the day, he held the plane ticket in his hands and his passport in his bag so he could be ready for his big travel. Jimin wasn't nervous to leave... He has been looking forward to this day for so long! As soon as he opened the folder of his team's next project, Jimin could already see his team giving through the dark blue waters along a beautiful island and of course, gaze at the mesmerizing scenery.

Just yesterday, the big love he had for his wonderful and trustful parents was shattered and he couldn't believe what happened... Yet, Jungkook was there to pick him up as always and heal his upset heart. Jungkook was there to make the older smile, giggle and blush no matter what issues Jimin looked back on.

At the table they enjoyed a good meal of grilled beef short ribs. The meat was grilled to a juicy look that made adding the bitter soy sauce over the meat gave it such a rich and mouthwatering taste to the ribs. This meal already arrived packaged and grilled so as soon as Jungkook set it out, he brought out the soy sauce, spicy red paste, the lettuce wraps, side dishes of seasoned spinach dishes, kimchi, white seasoned soybean sprouts, spicy radish salad and hot rice along with the meal.

Jimin recalled the good smile he had on his face after eating such a good meal. The thing that kept up his smile was talking to Jungkook about how beautiful will it be when they see all of the beautiful island of Cozumel together. This was all Jimin could think about and that was to go to the island with the man he adored and of course, staying far from his marriage.

Jimin thought of the endless things they could do even after they were finished with work. They could walk along the beach or even sleep in the same room together like a couple. This was what Jimin looked forward to the most. The older couldn't even sleep by just thinking of the big trip! He would be by Jungkook all day and night. Almost as if they really were a wedded couple... Yet, Jimin still wondered how Yun-se wasn't complaining and begging the man to stay like all of the times she has done before. Jimin didn't care about that... But he did find it off how she never replied to the whole entire thing with a plead for her husband to stay. In fact, she helped him pack. Was she just being supportive?

That was the question in Jimin's head whole he adjusted his Jean jacket over his white shirt matching with his skinny pants that were only baggy along the center of his pants and at the bottom of his pants as well. He wore timberlands like Jungkook aswell. He figured if he was going to be with his boyfriend abroad, he might as well get there matching and just embracing the new feeling of getting to a new place and brushikg off all of the problems to leave them at Korea.

As the clock striked 6:00 AM. It was time for Jimin to start heading off to the airport and needed Yun-se to help him to it. Another thing about Yun-se was, she actually didn't care about dropping Jimin off. She accepted so quickly before Jimin could finish his sentence and this left him to think that maybe Yun-se knew there was something between their love now. It was obvious it wasn't as perfect as they expected all together. They barely grew close, grew uncomfortable when it came to revealing such parts of their body to one another or even talking about their love for the future... That was what made Jimin feel so trapped inside and endless wormhole forever. He loved Yun-se... But not in a way to stay in the marriage...

Jimin stood up and walked into the room to see Yun-se throwing on a robe and placing on her white slippers so she could get ready to drop Jimin off. "Yeah.. I know, I know..." Yun-se added as she let out a sigh. "You want to leave me so quick." The woman said as Jimin walked up to his wife and patted her shoulder.

"Don't think like that. If I could stay, I would. it's just buisness." Jimin giggled as Yun-se looks down at his left hand and back at the man's face.

"Where's the ring?" Yun-se asked her husband as Jimin looked down to take out his ring from his pocket. "Hmm.."

"I had to take it off since I was washing my hands!" Jimin assured but Yun-se only remained silent and walked out of the room and carried the car keys in her hands as she looked back at Jimin.

"Just get your things so I can take you... It's a long drive so make sure you   have everything with you." Yun-se added as Jimin let out a sigh and nodded, obeying what his wife instructed him to do as he took his luggages out of the room. Jimin chose to travel with two luggages, not trying to travel heavily.

"You don't have to talk to me in that tone..." Jimin stated as he started to place on his contacts so he could get use to it until he gets to Mexico and takes a boat ride to the island.

Yun-se stood there watching Jimin take off his glasses and put on his contacts cautiously and blink his eyes fleeing the slight sting. "Jimin, I'm not trying to start a fight.. But, you... You don't tell me anything.. I question the trust you have for me..." Yun-se added as she watched Jimin drag his luggages out of the house and to his wife's red and big car to carry the luggage. "I would love it if you... Come back after your trip with a better attitude.."

"Yun-se, this is a pointless thing to bring up towards the end of my time here. Why couldn't you have told me yesterday?"

"Well? I'm sorry you aren't ever home." Yun-se muttered as she sat down on the drivers seat of the car as Jimin took it upon himself to sit on the passenger's seat while Yun-se was upset. "I called your parents yesterday since you weren't responding to my messages and turns out, you brought Jungkook with you to see your parents. After your parents argued with you over something I don't even know, you ran off with the cat and Jungkook as well! I don't know where the two of you went, but you both were gone for the whole day!"

"We went off to Seokjin's place."

"You're a bad liar..." Yun-se sighed as she started to pull out of the driveway to take Jimin to the airport. "Jimin, you need to give me attention too... I hate to be one of those wives that desperately want attention every second, but a little love here and there doesn't hurt anyone!"

"Yun-se... Yun-se.. Please.. Calm down, it's too early in the morning for you to get upset over this! I don't know why you suddenly went to bring this up, but please know I am sorry that I took your trust for granted. I'm sorry." Jimin apologized and held the glasses in his hands while he looked around in silence. "You know how much I care about you... So please don't stress yourself out over this."

"I felt like... Having children is just scaring you away from me... Is it? I could ditch the idea. I've already apologized for it, but ignoring me and only coming home to hug me to sleep doesn't really mean anything! I need you to talk to me, simple 'how was your day?' Questions or even cooking together! We haven't done that in so long.."

"I'm sorry I'm not as good as you thought I was before... I'll video call you and text you!"

"Really?" Yun-se scoffed as she glanced at Jimin before turning her head back to focus on the road.

"What do you mean, Yun?" Jimin asked in such an oblivious way possible. But, it didn't help the position he was in.

"W-What?! You don't get how messed up that is? The only time you'd get the nerve to finally contact me is when you are abroad! I learned to appreciate your trips abroad because that's when we have more of a decent conversation!"

            "We've had conversations before.."

"Yeah... We did.. Before he came along..." Yun-se snapped back and Jimin refrained from telling her. It was enough she was already upset and telling her about how Jimin no longer wanted to be in this marriage so he could go to Jungkook, made the man think that Yun-se would just grow insane and crash the car! Jimin didn't know what the girl was capable of... But he most definitely didn't want to stay and watch her flip out because she picked something off between Jungkook and Jimin.

Yun-se grew worried... She knew after Jungkook came around, he started to ruin everything! Her contact with Jimin was ruined, her normal relationship with Park Jimin was now unsteady. This made Yun-se wonder, was Jungkook just a homewrecker, waiting to suck the life out of every relationship? How much of these has he even done? "I don't like that boy..."

"Jungkook? Ah, why not? He hasn't harmed you or did anything wrong... He may have an off aura around him, but I can assure you he's nothing like how he was back in high school! He's nice, funny, amazing and friendly." Jimin added on while Yun-se remained silent the whole time as Jimin eventually silenced himself about going on and on about Jungkook. Not realizing Yun-se gripped onto the steering wheel out of jealousy.

"Yun..." Jimin called out, trying to cheer her up, but she only let out a sharp exhale from her nose and payed attention to the road. Ignoring Jimin just like his parents. Eventually, they made it to the airport and Jimin smiled and gave Yun-se a kiss on the cheek and gave her a quick hug after. "I'll  call you.."

"Mhm... Oh yeah! Make sure you and Jungkook don't stay up too late...don't even drink and stay up together..." Yun-se whispered and this made Jimin scoff and shake his head while he looked away and just rejected her words within himself.

"Of course..." Jimin replied as he looked up ahead and gazed at the road in silence. He didn't want to argue with his best friend too... But, she only kept going at it until Jimin felt a bit bad. Soon after, they eventually pulled up by the airport and Seokjin was standing by the curb with his luggages, Yoongi was there and holding the cat cage as well while Yun-se locked her jealous stare at Jeon Jungkook who was just looking around for Jimin so they could just stick together until they board their plane.

"Go..." Yun-se said as she pulled up by the curb in front of them and looked at Jimin. Watching how he smiled and hugged his best friend before leaving. "Love you..."

"Love you too." Jimin said with a smile and didn't mean it of course... Leaving Yun-se at the car after running off with his luggages and meeting up with his group of friends. Jimin didn't think Yun-se noticed, but she glared at Jimin and his secret boyfriend... Paying attention to their smiles and laughs while they pushed each other around. This was a feeling that they were closer than ever... Even more closer than just friends. But this alone made Yun-se just hope there wasn't anything between them when secretly, there really was.
