Jimin parked his car at the parking lot by the building of the laboratory as Jungkook carried Jimin's flowers for him. Jimin killed the engine and opened the door to get out and Jungkook did the same, leaving the balloons in the car and taking out the flowers to carry for Jimin. "Jimin, good news!" Jungkook added as he caught up to the older and started walking along side the man.

           "What is it?" Jimin asked as Jungkook stepped in front of the older and handed him the bouquet of flowers.

           "You wouldn't have to take me to work since I asked for this day off! Pulled some strings and now I don't have to work today! But tomorrow, I have to work." Jungkook claimed as Jimin smiled and nodded his head.

         "That's good! Now we wouldn't have to wait for you so we can go out to drink!" Jimin said. The boy walked to the building while carrying Jimin's flowers, they scanned their ID badges and continued walking down the hall afterwards, but of course, Jungkook was trying his best to walk faster and be able to stand in Jimin's way to stop him from walking into the lab too early. "Jungkook! Move!"

            "Kiss me first~" Jungkook added as Jimin shook his head and took a good look around and smiled.

             "I'll just... walk to the resource center." Jimin lied and quickly turned around to dash and find the back door of the lab, but suddenly Jungkook pulled Jimin by the hand and brought him to his arms. "-AH!"

              "Kiss?" Jungkook asked with a cute smile as Jimin shook his head again, but then Jungkook brought Jimin into a back hug and sank down along the double doors and hugged Jimin tightly in his arms, hearing Jimin struggle to protect the flowers.

              "N-No kiss!" Jimin shouted leading Jungkook to smile and raise his hand to give a melodic knock on the door as everything seemed to grow silent inside the lab. Jungkook finally let go of Jungkook and Jimin jumped up swiftly to look back at Jungkook and gaze at his flowers. "Oh, Jungkook! you almost ruined the flowers!" Jimin complained as the younger stood up and chuckled.

             "Maybe I should dress up like a flower so you would give me attention." Jungkook chuckled and pulled Jimin by his hand and placed his arm around him. "Close your eyes~"

               "A-Ah you're too forceful!" Jimin whined as the younger covered Jimin's eyes and opened the door to see all of the lights in the lab turned off... Giving Jungkook a reason not to cover Jimin's eyes.

            Jimin stepped in and Jungkook shut the doors, diminishing the light from the hallways so the lab would be left in the dark. Jimin looked around and began to wonder why Jungkook was so silent... "Jungkook... Turn on the lights. No more surprises!" Jimin said, but yet again, no words from Jungkook.

          Just then, Jungkook finally switched on the lights and everyone in the lab shouted surprise! Springing up from their spots as Jimin looked around the lab that was decorated with streamers and balloons. This made Jimin laugh happily and cover his face from the surprise, looking to see Yoongi let out a yell instead while Seokjin carried a cake for Jimin. The last time Jimin had such a surprise party like this was when he was back in high school, before Jungkook began to pick on him. This was like a big make up for the time Jungkook ruined Jimin's birthday back then... Just thinking about something like this made Jimin tear up again. But it wasn't over just yet.

             Jungkook tapped on Jimin's shoulder and gave him a birthday card that held a gift certificate within it, but Jimin looked at the card and recognized it was similar to the one Jungkook gave him back in high school with big words that spelt 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FOUR EYES!' for a moment there, Jimin was proud to be called that from Jungkook. Just receiving a card from before made Jimin smile so happily as Yoongi and Seokjin approached the two with the cake.

             "Happy birthday, Jimin! Hope you have a good one!" Seokjin added with the candles already lit over the big chocolate cake. Jimin couldn't stop smiling and let out a giggle from how happy he was.

         "Thank you guys, I can't remember the last time I had something like this! Thank you!" Jimin continued, while Jungkook kept his arm wrapped around Jimin.

            "It was all Jungkook's idea, but WHO CARES?! LET'S SING BECAUSE I WANT CAKE!" Yoongi shouted as everyone started to sing to Jimin for his birthday and this made Jimin still hold a smile on his face through it all.

             After that, Jimin blew the candles as everyone cheered and Seokjin went to share the cake with everyone since it was a large cake to share in the lab. Jimin walked to his section of the lab and dropped down onto his seat to look in the card, Jimin set the gift certificate aside and read what was in the card.

    Jimin,

          I'm sorry for all of those times I have troubled you. I wish I could not take it all back and at times I would cry when I look back to see what I've done to you....I'm sorry. I care about you, I want you in my life and you mean everything to me. I want to keep you in my arms and show you how much you mean to me. I want to talk to you about this... So I won't write any further and save it for later. Only then you'll know.

            Jimin scoffed into a chuckle as he looked at the card once more, tucking in the gift certificate as Jungkook walked in with two paper plates of chocolate cake. "Here you go." Jungkook said and set Jimin's plate down and looked at the card Jimin closed.

            "I forgive you and accept your apology." Jimin said as he held the plate in his hands, picking up the plastic fork and began to eat the chocolate, soft bread of the cake decorated with sweet chocolate frosting.

             "Of course you do!" Jungkook said so happily and pulled up a seat by Jimin to look at him. "So... Do you.. Want to talk about it now?"

             "Now?" Jimin then giggled as he shook his head. "I don't want to talk about it now... I want to enjoy being at work on my birthday for a while or else I can already imagine us arguing like yesterday."

              "We weren't arguing yesterday.. Were we?" Jungkook asked as Jimin shrugged.

            "It felt like it...? Slightly... Let's talk about it tonight, I don't want to now."

             "Why are you pushing back on this?"

             "Because this Isn't an appropriate place to talk about what we have together. Let's give it some time and when I feel comfortable, I can say it..." Jimin said. In reality, he loved Jungkook and the boy was aware of it... Jungkook just wanted Jimin to say it but the only reason why Jimin played this game was because he was scared. He was scared Jungkook would want a relationship, talk to him about getting a divorce or even argue more about something like his arranged marriage.

               "...Are you scared of telling me?" Jungkook asked. But Jimin shook his head and set his plate of cake down.

          "I'm not scared of telling you... I'm scared of what will come of it. Ugh- never mind that. My mind isn't right at the moment and I need to think about the presentation!" Jimin said to change the topic, standing up and walking to the coral sample when Jungkook walked behind Jimin and pressed him against the wall so swiftly. "Jungkook!  S-Stop that!"

          "Please... You need to promise me we'll talk this out! You told me today, I waited for today... Now you tell me tonight... I'll have to wait tonight. Don't lie to me, Jimin. Not when we both know how we feel. Scared or not, You need to bring yourself to tell me." Jungkook said as Jimin looked at Jungkook in the eyes. He wanted the boy more than ever... But just knew now wasn't the moment to talk. He felt confused with himself. He was excited to talk, but then... Jimin longed to wait until he thought it through because he alone didn't know what he was doing and talking about it now would lead him to cry. He was prepared to admit his love and come out... But not mentally.

              "Jimin!" Seokjin called out from behind them, causing the two to flinch and jump away from standing too close to each other. Luckily Seokjin didn't catch them talking about what they kept inside or even caught them kissing!

             "Y-Yes?!" Jimin shouted as he fixed his glasses as Jungkook went to check up on the coral.

              "I was making sure that Jungkook gave you your cake... Glad he did." Seokjin added as Jimin felt his heart drop from looking back at that awkward situation where Jungkook held him against the wall. Close to kissing by there. The man then stepped out and followed after Jin so he wouldn't leave with a mindset of something going on. But, Jungkook stood there, wanting to kiss Jimin in front of Seokjin to show that Jimin belonged to him and only him. The boy wanted to show how he owned Jimin to others... Yet he held back for the sake of the older. Not wanting to push himself forward in front of Jimin so he stood there in patience as Jimin ran out to catch up with Seokjin.

            "J-Jin! Wait!" Jimin shouted. Looking at the older and finally stood in front of him. "It's not what it looks like!"

            "So cliche." Jin said as he held a blank face. "Do explain."

             "We were just talking... And he got carried away! There's nothing between us." Jimin assured as Jin then let out a chuckle.

               "Of course there isn't." Seokjin answered sarcastically. "Ah, Jimin I'm not trying to ruin your life... I want you to be careful..." Jin added as he let out a sigh. "Almost anyone could have walked in there and thought otherwise. Do you know it's bad to cheat on your wife? Even if it's arranged... You need to have respect!"

           "I-I'm not cheating on Yun-se! I s-swear!" Jimin assured. But he lied to his close friend to make him forget what he saw. As always, something like this couldn't be handled in a workplace and Jimin knew it. That's why he couldn't talk to Jungkook about it out in the open.

           "I know you wouldn't... Just, try to keep it together okay?" Jin inquiried as Jimin nodded to assure Jin. Only wanting to steer his thoughts away from the truth. Jimin couldn't trust anyone with his feelings and instant changes. It wasn't safe for him while he had this ring over his finger. As Jimin listened to Seokjin talk about the Gala, he could see Jungkook just down the hall behind Seokjin. Watching him and just waiting to stand by his side to follow him every where as always.
