Jimin kept his breath as he stepped up closer and gazed at the younger up ahead on the second floor, dusting off old books. Jimin knew everything was out of place so he came to Jungkook to fix it.

"Jungkook..." Jimin called out as Jungkook stopped holding a book and stayed silent for a second and just ignored the man. "JUNGKOOK!"

"WHAT?!" Jungkook shouted as he looked back at Jimin with a serious glare.

"Listen to me..." Jimin said as Jungkook shook his head.

"W-Why should I listen to what you have to say? You said... You would support me no matter what. You called me smart... You said I focused and then you kick me out of your team!" Jungkook then looked at Jimin head to toe from above and scoffed. "I wouldn't listen to a nerd..."

"I-I deserve that... Jungkook please punch me, shove me or even punish me! I don't care.. I'm sorry... Yun-se's mother forced me to do it..." Jimin said as Jungkook threw the book down and quickly got down out of anger. As soon as he dropped down, he walked towards Jimin, making the man back up out of fear. Jimin recognized this look on Jungkook's face and recalled the boy doing this every time in high school before Jungkook would tease him or even embarrass him.

Jimin took off his glasses and looked down as the boy stopped in front of him, looking at Jimin with nothing but raging anger. "Aren't you a man?! Stick up for yourself, Jimin!" Jungkook shouted and shoved the older by pushing him on his chest and moving in closer. "You make me so angry that I want to do many things to you..."

"D-don't hold back... I-I deserve every second of it..." Jimin whispered as Jungkook shoved Jimin again and backed him up deep into the aisles of the book cases.

"So you're going to let everyone step over you now?! That means I can still shove you like this, Hm? You're just going to let an old lady take over your marriage?! Take over your life?!" Jungkook shouted and placed his hands on Jimin's shoulders to look at him deep in the eyes while Jimin was pressed against the bookcase.

"S-She's holding up her end of the deal! I have an arranged marriage and... My parents accepted so they wouldn't be in debt! I had no choice..." Jimin said starting to panic and tearing up. "I-I had no choice in this..."

Jungkook kept gripping onto Jimin's shoulders and looked at him deeply. "If your parents loved you...they would never give you up like that. They work don't they? WELL?!"

"Y-yes..."

"Then they don't need that old hag anymore... You stay in that relationship because you just love to fuck your whole life over." Jungkook added as he released Jimin and turned around to go back to clean. "Get out of here... You don't want me to 'distract' you." Jungkook said as he rolled his tongue along his inner cheek and suddenly, Jimin quickly caught up to Jungkook and pulled him by his arm.

"J-Jungkook, wait!" Jimin teared up and held Jungkook's hand back. "I.. I didn't want you off of our team. You're the last person I want to kick out of my life! You made researching so interesting to me and I value our friendship." Jimin said, but all he could see was nothing but a blur since he didn't have on his glasses. "I deleted your contact, I called Seokjin to do it... But I couldn't let you think this was how I really felt towards you. I still think you are smart and not a distraction... I just did it to make that woman go away."

"Jimin, you idiot..." Jungkook whispered and looked at Jimin still holding his hand back before the younger moved his hand away and watched Jimin's eyes grew teary. The boy knew Jimin couldn't see well and Jungkook just sighed. "I'm no longer on your team but you still stand here and make it seem like I am. Go do your work." Jungkook added as he stepped up to Jimin and grabbed his glasses from his hands and looked at the older. "Stop worrying about me. The damage is done... I don't want any part of your drama..." Jungkook added, drying Jimin's eyes and placing the glasses on the older. "Such a shame.. You were such a good mentor. But not a wise one."

"I-I can fix this! You'll still be in our team! P-Please..." Jimin begged as Jungkook took a good look at Jimin, suddenly placing his hand on Jimin's cheek. But this made Jimin flinch and look down while Jungkook kept his hand over the older's cheek. "I... Only did as I was told..."

"Out of all the people... You still want me. I'm not even yours.." Jungkook whispered as Jimin stayed silent and looked into Jungkook's eyes. He didn't know what this feeling was and the gaze he gave Jungkook was something greater than begging for sympathy.

"I'm sorry..." Jimin claimed. "You trusted me...." Jimin weeped already bursting into tears and causing his glasses to fog.

"Jimin..." Jungkook exhaled and removed Jimin's glasses to clear up the white clouds. "What's wrong with you?" Jungkook asked. Surprised Jimin started to sob as soon as he realized Jungkook would no longer help him in his research. It was like Jungkook was the only reason why he came to work every day.

"I-I'm such a mess..." Jimin added and accepted his glasses from Jungkook and placed them all to look away. "W-Why am I crying so much?" Jimin thought to himself. "I shouldn't be crying over a friend like this..."

"Jimin... Don't worry about taking me home or taking me to work. I have my way here. Good luck on the research." Jungkook said as he walked away, not daring to look back and see Jimin in tears.

Jimin suddenly felt like his heart began to ache. To him, he felt like he was just too much of a lovable person. That's why he would have such a feeling like this. But just this made him question these feelings. Jimin just knew deep down he couldn't let Jungkook go. Not even once. Jimin watched Jungkook continue dusting off the old books as Jimin left the resource center to go find Chief Min. Seeking out the work Jungkook completed in the lab.

Jimin ran into his section of the lab and grabbed Jungkook's work and looked at Yoongi who was looking for good sponsers so Jin could negotiate with. "Yoongi!" Jimin said as the older looked up at Jimin to look him in the red and puffy eyes.

"Woah.. What happened to you?" Yoongi asked as Jimin shook his head.

"D-Doesnt matter... I need to find your father. Where is he?" Jimin asked as Yoongi pointed down the hall.

"In his office." Yoongi claimed as Jimin held onto the work and headed back to the hall so he could talk to the chief. He placed this before his work. Showing how much working with Jungkook meant to him.

Jimin dashed down the hall to look for the Chief as he entered the door to see him just sitting on his chair and writing something down. Jimin grew nervous to approach the elder but he knew Jungkook was right through it all. Jimin walked up to the elder and dropped down the papers in front of the elder. "I... Want Jungkook in my t-team..." Jimin said nervously as the Chief looked up at Jimin.

"Wasn't Jungkook the one that kept distracting you from work and was no help to the group? I gave him a punishment because of that." The Chief claimed as Jimin kept looking at the elder.

"L-Look! He did all of this work! He's intellegent! Kind and helpful... I still want him in the team... He can't waste his intelligence. I want him to come with us to the next trip my team and I are going to... Please... I care.." Jimin begged as the Chief started to give a chuckle and the smile that was just like his son's. "C-Chief Min... Please!"

"I'm surprised! Seokjin throws him off and you want him back the next second. Park Jimin, you are really confusing when it comes to work. But if I hear another complaint, Jungkook is getting transferred. I'm only doing this because my amazing and wonderful son, Yoongi. And I am rooting for the team's next travel." The chief added as he looked down at the work and looked through it. "Tell him to stop dusting those books and get to work. Don't bother again, I'll be taking my daily nap." Chief Min claimed and laid back on his chair, handing the work back to Jimin.

Jimin felt like his heart was beating after a while and let out a sigh in relief. He smiled happily as he ran out of the office and held the work in his hands as he went to find Jungkook. Of course, he was still cleaning up around the resource center, he carried books and never realized Jimin came back. He was expecting Jimin to come back later on the week or at night but Jimin was quick to fix the issue because he valued their friendship.

Jimin quickly ran up behind Jungkook and jumped on his back to hug him tightly. Jungkook flinched and quickly looked back to see it was Jimin giggling. "Oh... You're back.." Jungkook said as Jimin got off of Jungkook and fixed his glasses.

"You're back in our team!" Jimin said excitingly as Jungkook tilted his head.

"That... Was quick? What did you do? Try to kill the Chief?" Jungkook asked, astounded Jimin was quick to handle the issue.

"No! I told him you were smart and I need you in our team. We can't function without you." Jimin said as Jungkook chuckled and looked at Jimin's happy smile.

"We? or YOU can't function without me?" Jungkook asked as Jimin felt glad to at least hear Jungkook's teasing.

"We." Jimin laughed and handed Jungkook the work. "We should hang out today... Not any other day of the week."

"Enjoyed yesterday, now you want to go back for more?~" Jungkook asked with a smile. "Are you sure..? I don't want to get sucked back into any drama with your Mother-in-law and wife. Keep me out of it." Jungkook said as Jimin nodded happily. The younger then patted Jimin's head and looked at the smaller yet older man.

"I don't care about that! I'm just glad we're a team again... I don't know what I'd do if we weren't." Jimin mentioned as he looked up at Jungkook patting his head gently with a cute smile while they looked into each other's eyes without any disruption this time. Showing how fast Jimin went to fix the issue, made Jungkook feel flattered and happy to stay in the team and stay by Jimin to stare at him like this happily.
