Figured I'd explain how the soulmate thing works? Like this specific soulmate AU sksksksk

Every person is born with a mark, and that's their mark. When they fulfill the mark, that mark appears on their soulmate. For example, Kaito's rose is to represent his love for magic(Since y'know... The rose thing he does). When he first got interested in magic, the mark appeared on everyone else's body.

Kaito Kuroba - Blue Rose - Represents his love for magic

Saguru Hakuba - Bronze Wings - Represents his soft side, I guess lol. It's based off of Watson, which is a hawk he rescued at some point. I think anyway. I see it in a lot of fics but wiki is useless and I can't find all episodes of DCMK on non-virus-infested sites.

Shinichi Kudo - Book - Represents his love for reading

Heiji Hattori - Heart Outline - Represents his need to protect others (because I couldn't think of anything better lol)

Akako Koizumi - Snake - BECAUSE WITCHY OUTFIT

Aoko Nakamori - Magnifying Glass - Aoko's mark hasn't actually shown up on Akako yet (thats the ship btw) because I imagine Aoko taking her Dad's place on the task force when he retires. Urged on by the fact that Kaito is dating three detectives, which she spends a lot of time around.
