"They were quiet all night," one of the night guards reports as the four main guards stand with the previous night's guards. "Nothing to report."

Jin nods, glancing towards Taehyung's door as he does. It's become a habit of his ever since he was put in charge of Taehyung; even though he has never escaped his room or even tried to, Jin finds his eyes always wandering back to his prisoner's door. It's almost as if he's afraid that one day, Taehyung will just snap. He knows he has to always stay on his toes in this place, especially when he is in charge of someone so dangerous.

Namjoon taps Jin's arm with his own, bringing Jin back to the present conversation.

"Go get some sleep," he says, waving the night guards away.

The four of them nod, yawning collectively as they shuffle out of the office.

"Now for the day's schedule," Jin says, sighing as he pulls up a chair and sits down, unconsciously rubbing his injured leg once he's seated. "Yoongi's sister is coming for a visit. After breakfast, Hoseok will take Yoongi to the conference room and then we'll let the four have some yard time for good behavior."

"I have a bad feeling," Hoseok says, visibly shivering as his eyebrows scrunch together. "It's been too quiet lately."

"You could just be grateful for it instead of jinxing it, asshole," Namjoon mutters under his breath, but Jungkook catches it and has to bite his lip to hold back his laughter.

His gaze moves to Kennedy's door, and his breath halts in his chest for a second. She is standing at her door, watching the guards converse in the office. More specifically, her eyes are locked onto Jungkook, watching his every move as he shifts uncomfortably on his feet. The bruise under her eye has melted onto her cheek and turned a sallow shade of yellow, which doesn't help the danger she exudes.

"I think she likes you," Namjoon says, nudging Jungkook. "She's usually far more feral with her guard."

"Should I be flattered or scared?" Jungkook jokes as he tears his eyes away from her.

"Scared," the other three guards chime in simultaneously and Jungkook's heart picks up speed as his mouth pops open slightly.

Hoseok laughs, his voice filling the small office space and reverberating on the bulletproof glass surrounding them. "I'll let you three gossip some more. I have a visit to supervise."

Hoseok salutes in Jin's general direction, who rolls his eyes in return.

"There we go," Hoseok says with a grin on his face as he takes the handcuffs off of Yoongi's wrists.

Yoongi massages his skin, sending a tight smile towards his guard as he sits down at the table "Thanks, Hobi."

"You'll let me know if the voices get too loud, right?" Hoseok asks, kneeling down to be face-to-face with Yoongi.

"Of course," Yoongi says, his eyes trailing to the door that his sister is expected to come through at any moment. "I'd never want to accidentally hurt her."

As if on cue, the door opens and a woman with catlike eyes and onyx-colored hair pulled into a bun walks into the room. As soon as her eyes lock onto the man in the chair, her calm expression melts away, an adoring grin replacing it as she walks towards her brother.

She holds her arms out, and Yoongi stands up and falls into her embrace.

"Hi," he says, tightening his hold around his sister as she returns his vice-like grip with her own.

"You look so good," she says, leaning back to place her hands on either side of his face. She moves it from side to side, examining every inch of his features. "The new medicine seems to be doing well. The circles underneath your eyes aren't as dark."

"The nightmares aren't as bad," he says, his eyes nearly sparkling as he holds onto his sister's hands on his face.

Yoongi and his sister move to sit down in the chairs situated next to each other at the table as Hoseok stands in the corner, watching Yoongi's every move.

"Hey Hana," Hoseok says, sending her a small wave as she looks over her shoulder at him.

"Hey Hobi," she says, smiling at him with her pink-tinted lips before turning her attention back to her brother.

Yoongi is frowning, his eyes looking into the far corner of the room. He shakes his head slightly, a gesture so small that Hoseok feels like Yoongi was trying to do it as inconspicuously as he could.

"You okay, Yoongi?" Hoseok asks, taking a step forward as his hand moves to his tranq gun on his hip that's already loaded with Yoongi's dose.

"Huh?" he asks, eyes still staring at the empty corner of the room.

"Yoongi," Hana says quietly, putting her slender fingers underneath his chin to make him look at her. "It's not real. Whatever it is you're seeing - it isn't real."

"Yeah," Yoongi says absentmindedly. "I know."

Hana takes a deep breath before biting her lip, and Hoseok can sense the conversation is about to take a shift into something deeper - something Hana must have had on her mind for a while but she's been afraid to ask until now.

"Yoongi," Hana says again, giving Hoseok a worried glance before turning her attention back to her brother. "Can you tell me about the drawings?"

Yoongi hums, a smile stretching across his lips that doesn't quite reach his eyes. "They show me things sometimes, then ask me to draw them. Red is their favorite color, so I like to use it."

"You can't keep hurting yourself like that, Yoongi. Remember what I told you?" Hana says, resting her hand on Yoongi's scarred forearm.

"You said it hurts you when I hurt myself," he says in a dreamlike tone, his eyes finally turning to look at his sister.

"Right," she says, rubbing his arm affectionately. "Try to remember that when those voices get so loud you can't stand it. I promise I'll start visiting more often if that makes you happy."

Yoongi's face breaks out into the biggest grin, tears gathering in his eyes that look identical to his sister's. "I told them I can't hurt myself because it hurts you. Do you know what they said?"

"What did they say?" Hana asks in a whisper, her grip on his arm tightening as she keeps her eyes locked on Yoongi's.

"That we can show you some real pain if you want to bitch about it." His voice is low and sinister as his grin shifts to something more ominous.

"Yoongi," Hoseok says in a stern voice, and Yoongi frowns for a second before shaking his head slightly again, his hair falling down into his eyes. "Sorry, Hana. I didn't mean it."

She smiles at him, trying her best to hide the tears glistening in her eyes. "I know."

"You'd better get back. You don't want your parents worrying about you," Yoongi says, patting Hana's hand as it rests on his arm.

Hoseok doesn't miss the comment; Yoongi hasn't referred to his parents as his parents since they locked him away. To him, they're nothing more than strangers who were terrified of the man they gave life to.

"Right," she says, clearing her throat as she tries to steady her voice.

Hoseok's heart cracks at the look on Hana's face.
He knows the pain of something happening to a sibling, unable to do anything but watch as everything and everyone collapses around them.

"We'll see you next time," Hoseok says, sending her a reassuring smile as she nods politely in his direction.

"Bye," Yoongi says, waving as he smiles up at her. She kisses his forehead before taking a few steps back, her eyes lingering on her older brother.

"Bye Yoongi," she says after a moment of silence, leaving the room and closing the door behind her just as the first tear slides down her cheek.

Hoseok sighs as he pulls out the handcuffs.

"Let's go sit outside for a bit. Maybe some sunlight will quiet the voices, yeah?"

"Yeah," Yoongi says, standing and pulling his hands behind his back.

After securing the cuffs on Yoongi, Hoseok grabs his upper left arm and leads him back towards the cells so Hoseok can regroup with the other main guards before taking the prisoners to the yard.

"I'm sorry, Hobi," Yoongi says, his head hanging low as he walks alongside Hoseok.

"I told you to never apologize for something like that," Hoseok says, frowning slightly as he pats Yoongi's back with his free hand. "She knows you have trouble sometimes."

"I just want to be better," he says, and Hoseok sees him biting his lip to keep his tears at bay. "For her."

"You know she loves you, right?" Hoseok says, stopping in the hallway to make Yoongi look at him. "I know your parents are the scum of the earth, but your sister really loves you."

"That's not what the voices say," he whispers, sending a sad smile Hoseok's way before turning and walking, Hoseok being pulled along as well as he keeps a grip on Yoongi's arm.
