Time goes by
Look back on my day, which felt long
It's only short but I didn't know at that time.

Jeonghan plopped down in his bed after returning from the office. Everyone went to their respective rooms as all six if them used to live together in the same mansion. They had decided to go to see Seokmin after a couple of hours and hence a small nap sounded tempting to him.

Joshua and Mingyu were going to leave in one car while him, Seungkwan, Hoshi and Dino had decided to order takeaways on their way from their favourite restaurant and organise a dinner for Rose Quartz.

When he sat on the bed, his mind went back to the few people he had met in the morning. He recalled their wide, astonished eyes and numb behaviour after meeting him.

I just want to see you more today

He scrunched his brows, "Why did they behave like that? Or am I just overthinking?"

He just removed his shoes and coat to get comfortable on the bed and to his surprise, his beauty sleep visited him almost instantly.

"Wow, I finally got some alone time with you."

"Yeah, so tell me, what's my surprise?" Jeonghan asked with a teasing chuckle.

"Have some patience, will you?"

"I'm patiently waiting since morning, isn't that enough?" Jeonghan crossed his arms across his chest.

"Okay, close your eyes."

Jeonghan immediately complied with the instruction.

"And, here you go."

He felt the cold metal touching the skin of his warm neck as he got excited while someone fixed the chain on his neck.

"Open your eyes and look into the mirror."

"Wow! Isn't this the same locket-"

"Yeah, the same locket which you sacrificed to buy a better gift for your mom."

"It's beautiful thankyou so much! This is a gift I'll treasure forever, not because I like it but because you put so much observation and thoughts to buy me this." Jeonghan embraced the other male.

"It's fine Jeonghan, all I want to tell you is that you always work hard. You're my strength, my support and I always learn a lot of things from you. I just hope you stay healthy and happy and keep taking care of us. No one does it like you do."

"I'm so touched Seun-"

And he woke up. The face was blurry again. The name was forgotten again. He didn't know what he just saw was a memory or just a casual dream.

But the locket? Yeah, he was currently wearing it around his neck. He never removed it, to be honest.

It was a gift. But from whom?

Beautiful memories that can't be brought back
Time like blood flowing from the wrist
Memories drift away and before you know it, the wide sea

Who was the person who understood his desires? Who was the person who wished him a happy and healthy life? What was his name? How did he look like? How did he sound?

Tons of questions but not a single answer. Do you know how frustrating it was?

"C'mon think Jeonghan! Try to recall it, who was it?" Jeonghan grabbed his hair tightly, "Please! You can do it! Who was it? WHO?!"

He knocked off a chair kept beside him as he was both angry and was crying in frustration, "Please, why is my brain betraying me again? WHO WAS IT?!! WHO?! RECALL, FUCKING RECALL!"

He was losing his cool by every passing minute.

Past and present are the same, but
Regrets remain about the things I couldn't catch

"You're such a trash Yoon Jeonghan, how can you forget someone who was so considerate about you? How can you casually forget the name of someone who cared for you?! YOU'RE PATHETIC YOON JEONGHAN YOU'RE THE WORST." Jeonghan cried.

He reached the drawers to get his medicines but his hands were trembling. He clutched his chest as he fell against the wall and sat by it.

"Only a selfish person like you can forget the people who used to love you with all their might." Jeonghan muttered as he blamed himself, "You don't deserve the second chance you got. YOU DESERVE NO ONE. Why?! Why am I still alive? Why can't I just die peacefully?"

The unknown days

His breaths were coming out uneven as he was slowly blanking out, "Get your shit together and focus."

"Focus!" He inhaled a deep breath as he closed his eyes to recall the figure he just saw as a dream, "Who was he?"

Several attempts failed but Jeonghan couldn't revisit that moment. He still didn't get a single answer that he was craving for.

"I'll kill you if you don't recall it this time." Jeonghan began to breathe heavily, "PLEASE!!"

After getting bruised and hurt

Among many words
The word "I miss you" somehow resonates more with me
Make the memories more vivid
I'm drifting away again

"Hyung!" Hoshi walked in as he screamed, "Seungkwan, Dino, hurry up! Help!"

Even if the voices around him were loud, they were fading for Jeonghan as he collapsed completely. He was drowned with sweat while his eyes were overflowing with tears. His hair was messy and his knuckles were bleeding as he had punched the wall earlier.

I hope everything comes back

Seungkwan and Dino rushed in as they panicked while watching the older's condition.

"Let's go to the hospital." Hoshi lifted up Jeonghan with the help of Dino, "Seungkwan, call Shua hyung and Mingyu. Inform them about this."

Seungkwan did as he was ordered. The trio rushed to the hospital with Jeonghan being unconscious.

As soon as they reached the hospital, they met the doctor who was dealing with his case since the beginning. Jeonghan was admitted while they were asked to wait outside his room. Joshua and Mingyu arrived within a while as well.

Yeah, that was how everything had gone wrong.

Yoongi and Jihyo stood before the five of them, answering out their concerns.

"Can we meet him?" Dino asked slowly.

"You can." Yoongi allowed, "Mr. Hong and Mr. Kim, you're the ones who generally discuss his reports with us right? Come to my cabin first."

The two nodded after which the doctors left.

"Is something wrong?" Seungkwan muttered, "They looked worried."

"It's alright, you both should go." Hoshi referred to Joshua and Mingyu, "We'll see Jeonghan hyung."

"Yeah sure." Joshua nodded as he left with Mingyu while the other three stepped into Jeonghan's room with cheerful faces to boost him up.

"You're here." Jeonghan chuckled weakly, "I'm sorry I scared you all."

"Do you really think you can scare us? Wow, the audacity?" Seungkwan joked.

"You guys are a boon to me." Jeonghan smiled as the trio surrounded him.

As much as he craved to recall his past, he also deeply cherished his life saviours. These guys were his comfort. He knew how fortunate he was to have them by his side.

"So are you, to us." Dino embraced the older, "You look cool with this pretty smile on your face."

"Exactly hyung, don't worry much okay?" Hoshi assured.

"Joshua and Mingyu?" Jeonghan asked.

"Dr. Min wanted to talk to them so they're in his cabin." Seungkwan informed.

"I had to go to see Mr. Seokmin too." Jeonghan felt bad for not being able to visit him.

"It's fine hyung, Shua hyung and Mingyu hyung were at their place when we called them for you." Dino explained, "They must have handled it wisely."

"Wow, so that means the Rose Quartz team knows about me being in hospital too?" Jeonghan's eyes widened.

"Well, yes." Hoshi nodded, "But as I said, don't worry hyung!"

The head doctor, Min Yoongi and Jeonghan's therapist, Jihyo were seated in the cabin when Mingyu and Joshua arrived.

Both the doctors looked rather in distress even if they had already declared that Jeonghan was completely fine.

"Yes Mr. Kim and Mr. Hong." Yoongi began, "I've a very shocking revelation for you."

"What happened Dr. Min?" Joshua asked.

"What's the eating schedule of Mr. Yoon?" Yoongi asked, "What does he eat on a regular basis? Who cooks his food? What are the other places he prefers to eat or drink?"

"Uh-" Mingyu found the question a bit weird, "We've cooks at our place who cook food for us. Other than that we've a private cafeteria at the office. That's our and his regular eating schedule, apart from them we sometimes go out to eat in hotels and all."

"Okay." Yoongi scoffed, "Do you completely trust your cooks at home and office?"

"Of course." Joshua nodded, "They've been with us for long. We're like a family now. What happened Doctor?"

"Today, finally we found out what's restraining Mr. Yoon's recovery." Yoongi showed them his report, "This drug, AT78. Why is this included in his regular meals? This literally cuts off the effect of all the medicines we prescribe him."

"WHAT?!"

"Yes." Jihyo began, "Jeonghan's recovery is being hindered by this one single drug. We need to find out it's source and cut it off as soon as possible."

"But-" Mingyu scrunched his brows, "That's not possible. We blindly trust our cooks."

"And we can't call them out just like that without any evidence." Joshua added, "What if they come out to be innocent?"

"I understand." Yoongi nodded, "I've a solution. So, for 3 days, someone needs to strictly stay by his side 24/7. Whatever he eats, just slip down a small sample of it and keep it separately. We'll send the samples for lab test and find out the culprit. You can even sue them for this act."

"That's fair." Mingyu remarked, "I don't understand who tried to do this."

"Don't tell Jeonghan about this before we find out about the culprit." Jihyo suggested, "We can tell him later."

After a bit more discussion, Mingyu and Joshua walked out of the cabin, totally devasted over what they had heard.

"Mingyu, let's call Hoshi and keep this in between three of us for the meantime." Joshua stated, "Seungkwan and Dino would worry too much and as Miss Park said, we can't stress Jeonghan."

"Wait, I'll call Hoshi hyung." Mingyu pulled out his phone and summoned him to the hospital's cafe. They explained him everything and he was equally bewildered as the other two.

It was when Jihye's voice rang in Joshua's mind, 'Jeonghan hyung, please eat this, you'll love it.' 'Hyung, I brought an oreo milkshake for you today.' 'Hyung you're awesome, you deserve this cake!'

"I doubt someone." Joshua cleared his throat, "Park Jihye."

Mingyu and Hoshi snapped their heads towards the older.

"I mean I just think so." Joshua clarified, "Because- have you guys noticed, he brings something to eat for Jeonghan everyday."

"Honestly, he's a bit suspicious to me since the very beginning." Mingyu scoffed, "He just wants money from hyung that's it."

"If he's the actual culprit, I'm going to break his bones for sure." Hoshi rolled his eyes, "I've always told you guys. Him being a kid mentally is just a pretty drama to gain hyung's sympathy."

"So we've to stay by Jeonghan 24/7 to take his food samples specially from that fucker Jihye." Mingyu declared.

"Yeah, the reports will sort everything anyways." Hoshi nodded.

"I also have one more doubt." Joshua mumbled, "Hoshi, manage everything here. Mingyu, let's go to meet Rose Quartz."

"At this hour? Why?" Mingyu asked.

"I think-" Joshua hesitated but Hoshi completed his sentence, "They know Jeonghan hyung already."

"EXACTLY." Joshua's eyes widened.

"I think so too!" Hoshi thought for a while, "Didn't you see how they reacted when hyung came into the meeting room? They were lost. Seokmin fainted abruptly but still no one even budged from their place. It's suspicious."

"And do you remember how aggressive they were when you told me about Jeonghan being hospitalized?" Joshua added.

"It makes sense." Mingyu agreed, "Their reactions were a bit wierd. Is it okay to bother them at this hour though?"

"I don't care about that and if they're his well-wishers, they won't care either." Joshua stated.

"You're right, let's go." Mingyu finally agreed.

"All the best hyung, I'll manage it here." Hoshi chuckled and left.
