"I don't think we should let this opportunity pass just because we'll have to work in Busan." Wonwoo stressed as the Rose Quartz's lead team was seated in the meeting room.

Seungcheol massaged his forehead.

Busan. The city which snatched his world from him. The city he never visited since his love departed. The city which he hates with all of his might.

"We've heard a lot about Serenity Hyperbotics." Woozi fiddled his pen, "Working with them simply screams immense profits."

"Plus, in the disclaimer, they said that this is going to be a huge and long project." Jun added.

"Exactly." Minghao pointed out, "A long project. We don't even have a branch in Busan. It's not like our other intercity or foreign projects which we can handle from Seoul. They've said that they want us to stay in Busan and work."

"Yeah it's debatable." Vernon nodded, "Even if we forget about the branch thing, we can't just leave our HQ in Seoul for months."

"Off topic but do you guys know that Serenity's CEO is anonymous?" Seokmin spoke up, "He had never appeared in any social interaction."

"I don't think that it's our concern." Jun states, "We'll meet the CEO for the meeting eventually. It doesn't matter who he is."

"And about our stay in Busan, we can just travel in units." Wonwoo suggested, "Of course we'll go for the meetings together. If everything works, we can travel back and forth from Busan to Seoul then back to Busan in a group of 3 or 2 periodically."

"Yeah and having a branch there is not necessary." Woozi sorted out, "We'll keep our demands for a decent workplace and I don't think they'll deny it. Plus we've enough manforce and contractors available in Busan even if we don't have a branch there."

"Hyung." Wonwoo referred to Seungcheol, "Let's not intermix our personal and professional lives. This deal would be a huge uplift in our company's economy."

"Hmm." Seungcheol nodded, "But they didn't reveal what structure they actually wanted to build."

"I had a brief virtual meeting with their Chief Manager Mr. Kwon Soonyoung or Hoshi as he says." Woozi informed, "He said it's a confidential project so they can't just reveal the structure but he gave a rough idea for our convenience."

"It won't be a single building." Minghao carried further, "They want to build multiple structures in one huge arena. A mini city kind of thing but they have to incorporate their new creations within them."

"That's the reason for this collaboration." Seokmin continued, "The mail said that they want the beauty of our designs to combine with their technological creations."

"It's a mini smart city kind of thing but with more technological advancements." Jun summarised, "It's just that they'll unveil their actual stuff after signing the contract because the inauguration day of the smart city would be the day they'll reveal their new creations."

"And they want us to visit them because they are willing to show the area where we have to design the structures." Woozi scrolled through his tablet, "Makes sense."

"Alright." Seungcheol scoffed, "I think we should give it a try."

"Thank god hyung that you agreed." Wonwoo sighed in relief.

"Yeah, reply to them with a positive response and fix the dates of the meeting." Seungcheol ordered, "We'll go to Busan."

"Hyung!" A cheerful voice followed by a giggle was heard in Jeonghan's cabin.

"Oh Jihye?" Jeonghan's face lit up, "Welcome welcome!"

Park Jihye was yet another person Jeonghan used to adore. He was 20 years old and was like a younger brother to him who had the power to light up the older's mood in any situation.

"See, I bought cheesecake for us today." Jihye walked towards his table, "Please eat."

"Oh I just had breakfast and coffee." Jeonghan muttered, "Keep it, I'll eat it later."

"I wanted to eat with you." Jihye whined.

"Okay fine." Jeonghan accepted his portion and enjoyed the dessert with the younger.

"Hyung, when are we going shopping? I want to buy some new clothes and a watch too." Jihye softly asked.

"We'll go this week." Jeonghan ruffled his hair, "I promise."

"You promised me last time too." Jihye whined.

"And I took you out right? We bought shoes and accessories for you." Jeonghan smiled.

"But not clothes and watch."

"Yeah we'll go this weekend, don't worry."

It was when Mingyu came into Jeonghan's cabin. He scrunched his brows as he saw Jihye sitting beside Jeonghan and Jihye rolled his eyes as well.

"Hyung, why don't your friends knock before coming to your cabin?" Jihye complained.

Yes, this was yet another side of Jihye. No matter how adorable he was with Jeonghan, he never got along with Jeonghan's friends.

"You answered your question yourself kid." Mingyu grinned, "We don't need to knock because we're his friends."

"He's your boss Mingyu or whosoever you are." Jihye stuck out his tongue.

"Jihye?!" Jeonghan rebuked, "Apologise to him, right now."

"Hyung-"

"I said, apologise!" Jeonghan ordered, "Respect your elders. And I'm not his boss, we all are equal to this company."

"Sorry." Jihye said it for formality.

"This is not how you apologise." Jeonghan looked at the younger.

"I'm really sorry for my behaviour." Jihye bowed to Mingyu.

"It's okay." Mingyu mumbled.

"And isn't this time for your business classes?" Jeonghan looked at the time. He called someone who appeared in his cabin within a while, "Take Jihye to his extra classes and then drop him home safely."

Jihye left after bidding goodbye to Jeonghan and ignoring Mingyu who didn't care either.

"I'm sorry Mingyu, he's just a kid."

"He's 20, not a kid, hyung." Mingyu scoffed.

"I know but you know his mind is underdeveloped because of his parents leaving him when he was just nine." Jeonghan reasoned.

"Whatever hyung but his personal problems don't give him the rights to mess with others." Mingyu scoffed, "We tolerate him only because of you. I don't understand what's wrong with him but if he harms you someday, we won't spare him."

"Don't worry Mingyu, he won't harm me in any way." Jeonghan chuckled, "Anyways, what happened?"

"Oh yeah, Rose Quartz accepted our proposal." Mingyu informed, "They've asked us to fix a meeting next week."

"Okay that's great news." Jeonghan nodded, "So yeah, fix a meeting. And make sure that they won't have to deal with any trouble as soon as they step into Busan."

"Don't worry about that. Joshua and Hoshi hyung are already working over it." Mingyu explained, "And it's time for you to go to therapy sessions."

"Yeah right, I totally forgot about it." Jeonghan massaged his forehead, "Today was the last session for this week right? Reschedule it for tomorrow evening, I don't think I can go today."

"Okay sure. I lowkey knew it though." Mingyu displayed a small smile.

Seungcheol stared at the chain in his hands as he rested in a cabin of their private jet. The chain was a gift from his loved one.

"You look cool in plain chains like this. Don't worry Seungcheol, I'll be back in a week or so."

"You asked me not to worry but never returned. Only if I had confessed my love to you that day, at least you would have known about my feelings for you before leaving all of us." Seungcheol chuckled dryly, "I'm going to that city again after six years. The city which robbed us from our precious person."

He gulped down a glass of water, "I hate that city. I hate it for snatching you from me."

Once again his eyes welled up with tears, "It has been years but the pain of losing you is still fresh in my mind. Why am I so unfortunate? What sin did I commit to face this immense loss? It's like I've lost myself along with you.
Why can't you just come back?"

He gathered himself as he inhaled a deep breath, "Although I have lost all my hopes and accepted the reality, some part of me still believes that I'll get to see you again. My heart still feels like you're not too far away."

It was when Wonwoo barged into his cell, "Hyung, we're landing soon."

"Oh okay." Seungcheol nodded, "Did you find anything about Serenity's CEO?"

"Nothing." Wonwoo was disappointed, "No one has come to know about him, not even accidentally."

"Well, okay."

Night had fallen in the beautiful city of Busan as their plane landed at the airport. When they walked out, Joshua, Seungkwan, Dino and Hoshi were waiting for the Rose Quartz team.

They greeted each other as they were quite comfortable with each other after having so many conversations regarding the meeting and its preparations.

"I see the CEO of Serenity didn't come here either." Minghao pointed out, "He loves to stay secretive."

"He does but actually he had a personal session scheduled with his doctor and Mingyu went with him." Joshua informed, "Don't worry, you'll meet him in the meeting tomorrow."

The delegates of Serenity made sure to assist Rose Quartz in the new city. After making sure that they were settled in the hotel room they had booked for them, the duo left after some greetings and formalities.

"They booked the whole floor for us." Wonwoo stated, "This room is the common one."

"They spent a lot, for our stay though." Woozi remarked, "Isn't the price of sea facing hotels higher?"

"But isn't this their own hotel?" Jun added.

"Yeah it is but still, someone could've booked these rooms and they could earn through it." Minghao reasoned.

"C'mon, pleasing the clients is also a part of business, isn't it?" Seokmin intervened.

"Yeah, considering that this is a huge project for them, I think they really want this collaboration." Vernon added, "And we want it too right? It would be a great push for our profits."

"Okay guys, take rest for today. Don't think much about what's going to happen and what not." Seungcheol chuckled, "We'll work according to the situation and our principles."

"Right." Seokmin nodded, "I'm going to sleep."

"I'm going to the sea-shore, does anyone want to join?" Seungcheol asked.

"I'll prefer to sleep." Vernon rubbed his eyes.

"Me too." Minghao sighed.

"Same actually." Jun scoffed.

"I'll join you hyung." Woozi sided with Seungcheol followed by Wonwoo, "Me too!"

"Okay let's go." Seungcheol began to walk out, "And you guys, sleep well."

The trio reached the nearby sea shore. It was late at night already but the moon shining brightly, was enhancing the beauty of nature.

The breeze was cold and so was Seungcheol's heart. Was coming to Busan a good idea?

He looked up at the sky and stars captivated his tears followed by Woozi and Wonwoo.

"I still can't adjust to this city." Seungcheol scoffed, "It's suffocating me. All those memories are rushing back to my mind."

"I know." Woozi nodded, "But we've to stay strong for the younger ones."

"Exactly, if we break down, who'll console them?" Wonwoo mumbled.

"How come Jeonghan used to manage to take care of all of us at once?" Seungcheol chuckled dryly, "He was unbelievable."

"Too good to be true." Wonwoo wiped his tears, "Too good to stay with us forever."

"Hyung you were regretting so much before coming here but isn't it destiny?" Woozi looked at the oldest one.

"How so?"

"Tomorrow's the day when we lost him." Woozi stated, "And his memorial is in Busan."

"Right." Wonwoo remarked, "Let's go to his memorial after tomorrow's meeting."

"You're right." Seungcheol nodded, "At least we'll get to meet him in some way."

"What do you mean by meet him? Don't we meet him everyday?" Wonwoo grinned, "He's always in our hearts."

"Remember when we visited his family during vacation and we went to a similar sea shore?" Woozi recalled, "It was so much fun."

"We never contacted his family again after that incident." Wonwoo looked down, "It's so rude of us."

"I know but I don't think any one of us has the guts to see his family." Seungcheol sighed, "It's true that we're like their sons but we can't take Jeonghan's place, no matter what."

"You're right, I can't see Mom and Dad crying like that." Woozi added. Yeah, they used to call Jeonghan's parents as Mom and Dad.

"That day- was horrible." Seungcheol recalled the bitter memories, "I can still hear their cries and screams. It gives me goosebumps."

"Please don't remind me of that hyung." Woozi mumbled, "Drop this topic for now."

"Yeah. Let's go back to the hotel." Seungcheol declared, "We have to attend the early morning meeting tomorrow."
