Jeonghan and Seungcheol were sitting on the sofa in Jeonghan's cabin with their respective laptops, tablets and files with them.

It was when Jeonghan's phone rang.

"Excuse me, just a second." Jeonghan went towards the desktop fixated on his table.

"Yeah Mr. Kim, that issue is fixed from our side. Why don't you-"

Jeonghan continued to talk over the call while his gaze was over the desktop's screen.

And Seungcheol's gaze was always on Jeonghan, on his man, on his eternal love. Because for him, it had always been Jeonghan, only. No one before him and no one after him. His heart was dedicated to only one person.

"As gorgeous as ever." Seungcheol smiled to himself, "He and his personality didn't change even by an inch. Oh how much I miss him being in my arms, doing silly things to make him smile, acting dumb to make him help me and get closer to me."

All eight of the friends were gathered at Seungcheol's place to work together.

They all were always riled up with work load and they didn't want to lose their bonding because of it. So they used to work together when they didn't have to work at the office, instead of going to cafes alone to work.

Jeonghan was the only one from a different stream while all seven of them were in the architectural field.

So sometimes when they would discuss their things, Jeonghan often felt out of the conversation which was inevitable.

But they also made sure that Jeonghan won't feel left out. That was the beauty of their friendship.

They were all scattered in the hall. Some were laying on the couch and sofa. Some occupied the chairs while some preferred the floor.

"Coffee?" Seungcheol asked Jeonghan who looked stressed.

"Thanks." Jeonghan chuckled.

"You look tense, is everything alright?" Seungcheol sat beside him.

"Not actually stressed but I was reviewing a power point and it has so many mistakes, I don't if they made it while being drunk." Jeonghan scoffed, "I thought I wouldn't have to spend much time on it but I was wrong."

"Don't worry, you're the best at your work." Seungcheol caressed his hair.

"Seungcheol hyung!!" Woozi called who was laying on the couch with his laptop, "Listen for a second please."

"Go!" Jeonghan lightly slapped his arm.

Seungcheol stood up and went to help Woozi but as soon as it was over, he came back to sit beside Jeonghan.

But it wasn't soon when Jun called, "Jeonghan hyung, please see what's wrong with my laptop."

"Yeah!" Jeonghan left to help Jun.

Seungcheol scoffed. It wasn't easy to get some alone time with the younger.

When Jeonghan came back and settled on his seat, Seungcheol nudged him to check his phone.

Jeonghan picked up his phone and checked the older's text.

Hey, let's go out for dinner tonight.

You
Why are you texting me this?

Cheol
Because I want to go alone with you.

You
Anything special?

Cheol
Yeah, getting you all to myself is really special and rare these days.

Lmao okay, don't be dramatic, what time?

Sure.

Seungcheol chuckled as he looked at the younger.

Jeonghan smiled to himself while looking at his laptop.

"Those were the days." Seungcheol grinned as he kept staring at the younger.

If you go, I'll stay

Jeonghan was coughing occasionally but he was too much into his work to care about it.

Seungcheol grabbed a glass of water and took it to the younger.

Jeonghan accepted it gladly as he mouthed a thank you to the older.

Seungcheol showed him the few last pieces of orange he had abandoned to attend the call.

He offered it to him and gestured for him to focus on his work and he was there to take care of the rest.

Jeonghan felt touched. The tender care he was receiving right now without even asking once was a bit too much for him to take.

Sure everyone cared for him a lot but no one had ever noticed these small details.

Seungcheol's act of service was different from the others. And was it bad that Jeonghan was loving it over anything else?

'I know you Jeonghan, you don't like if someone pushes your work away to make you eat first.' Seungcheol thought to himself.

After Jeonghan ate the last bite, Seungcheol went back to his seat and focused on his work.

There was something about him that was pulling Jeonghan towards him like a magnet. The more he would spend time with Seungcheol, the more he would crave for.

Jeonghan wanted to know everything about Seungcheol now.

Because he always felt like an open book in front of Seungcheol. The older somehow knew everything about his preferences. It always amazed Jeonghan how Seungcheol used to act exactly he wanted the person in front of him to act.

He wanted that level of understanding in his life.

For sure.

No matter what.

Seungkwan and Vernon's cabin was dead silent. Only the little noises of typing on keyboard, papers flipping, etc. were audible. The only words they were sharing were purely related to work.

Why? Because they simply didn't want to talk to each other.

"Excuse me." Vernon stood up to go to the washroom.

Soon enough, Seungkwan heard a scream from the washroom. He immediately rushed towards it and knocked on the door, "Vernon?"

The door opened revealing Vernon all drenched in water.

Seungkwan scanned him from top to bottom after which he started laughing, "Little kid got confused between the taps."

"Very funny." Vernon rolled his eyes, "You should've told me earlier that the tap of the sink unleashes water from the shower."

"What?" Seungkwan scrunched his brows, "Oh please! Stop making excuses for your stupidity."

"Excuses huh?" Vernon grabbed Seungkwan's hand and pulled him inside the washroom. He opened the tap of the sink. No water came out of it but the next moment, Seungkwan was all drenched in water because of the shower.

"See?" Vernon sighed as water kept flowing over both of them.

"Close it the fuck?" Seungkwan turned off the tap, "What the hell is wrong with it? No wait, what the hell is wrong with YOU?!"

"Me again." Vernon scoffed, "What can I do in this?"

"Why did you have to pull me in?" Seungkwan looked at himself with pathetic eyes.

"Because you weren't believing me, you wanted proof."

"Wow, my eyes would have worked from outside too." Seungkwan whined, "Oh god!! Why am I stuck with him?!!"

It was Vernon looked at Seungkwan and realised he actually did wrong by dragging him in. But he was too pissed at that moment to think right.

"Now what's wrong with this?" Seungkwan tried to open the door but it was stuck.

"Let me try." Vernon used all his might but the door refused to open.

"Great, just great." Seungkwan face palmed.

"Is this a washroom or store room? Everything is just broken." Vernon scoffed heavily.

"HELP!!" Seungkwan banged the door, "We don't even have our phones."

Vernon looked around the bathroom and found two bathrobes. He took one for himself and handed the other one to Seungkwan, "Remove your coat and wear this for the meantime."

"Thanks." Seungkwan accepted as he removed his coat.

"Turn around." Vernon stated.

"Why?"

"I'm going to remove my shirt, wanna see?" Vernon cocked a brow.

"What? No."

"Then turn around."

Seungkwan turned the other way but his gaze accidentally fell on the mirror. And unfortunately, he made eye contact with a shirtless Vernon through the mirror.

Vernon remained unfazed as he sighed, "Keep staring."

"Why would I? It was unintentional." Seungkwan closed his eyes.

"Not a big deal Seungkwan, I'm done."

"Are you planning to stay here till evening?" Seungkwan asked.

"Who would want to endure your non sense till evening?" Vernon banged at the door loudly.

"You're such an asshole." Seungkwan muttered.

"You can't put a filter on your mouth, can you?" Vernon glared at him.

"Just like you." Seungkwan passed a sarcastic chuckle, "Bitch."

"Boo Seungkwan." Vernon grabbed the hem of Seungkwan's robe and pulled him closer, "Keep your words in limit. You can't just blabber anything on my face and think you're so cool, get that shit inside your head."

"Or?" Seungkwan retorted the gaze.

"Or-"

Before Vernon could complete, Dino's voice was heard, "Where are both of them?" He mumbled to himself.

"DINO!!!" Both Vernon and Seungkwan yelled in unison.

Dino snapped his head towards the washroom as he walked towards it.

"Open the door, it's stuck." Seungkwan insisted.

"Wait." Dino attempted to open the door but struggled with it. After a few moments, he managed to open it revealing Vernon and Seungkwan drenched in water while both of them had bathrobes on.

"Wha-" Dino's eyes widened, "What were you both doing?!!"

Seungkwan and Vernon looked at him in confusion but soon realised what he meant, "NOOOO!"

"With him? Eww no way." Seungkwan scrunched his brows.

"What do you mean by that?" Vernon pointed out, "What's wrong with me?"

"Everything." Seungkwan hissed.

"That's not the discussion GUYS?" Dino clapped twice to gain their attention, "These are working hours and you both-"

"WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." Vernon explained the whole scenario to the younger.

Dino laughed a bit after which he calmed down, "I'll ask someone to help you both freshen up and get this washroom fixed as soon as possible."

"Thank you."

After helping his peers, Dino finally reached his own cabin. He saw Minghao shuffling through the papers while being focused on a list in his hand.

But then his gaze landed on Jun who was simply gawking at Minghao with a smal grin on his face.

Dino grabbed his seat beside Jun and snapped his fingers in front of his face. Jun flinched and quickly cleared his throat while Minghao remained unfazed from the duo.

"Someone is in love." Dino dramatically whispered.

"Shut up Dino, there's nothing like that." Jun mumbled but couldn't stop smiling.

"What's wrong in accepting that you love him or at least like him? It was pretty obvious." Dino stated.

"Don't tell anyone." Jun insisted.

"Sure hyung." Dino nodded, "Why didn't you tell Minghao hyung though? You guys are really good friends."

"Yes, we are but I'm not sure if he wants a relationship." Jun muttered, "I'm not sure. I don't want to ruin my friendship with him. Plus these days had been hectic, I didn't even get time to talk to him separately. I'm missing him having all to myself so much."

"Hmm I see." Dino paused, "I can set a date for you, right now."

"What?"

"Just wait and watch." Dino chuckled after which he normalised his voice, "Minghao hyung, Jun hyung, do you want to eat? I'm honestly feeling hungry."

"Umm sure." Minghao shrugged.

"We've had private cabins in the cafe for six of us but now it's accessible to you all as well." Dino explained, "Come I'll show you."

"Let's go." Jun nodded as all three of them got up.

"We mostly skip breakfast at home and eat here that's why we decided to have some space only for ourselves." Dino stated as he gave Jun and Minghao one card each, "You'll have to use it at the entrance to get in."

"Oh that's great."

They finally made into a private cabin and settled on the seats. While looking through the menu, Dino's phone ringed.

"Excuse me." Dino sided himself and returned after a while, "I'm sorry guys, Shua hyung called me for some important work. Please enjoy by yourself."

"Then let's go, we'll eat later as well." Minghao suggested.

"No hyung it's fine, I'll drag Seungkwan hyung with me if I'll be hungry later on. You both carry on, see you later." Dino winked at Jun and left.

Jun understood that it was all a plan made by Dino to let him have some peaceful time with Minghao.

Jun immediately pulled out his phone to text Dino.

Dino :
It's fine hyung!
Now stop texting me and focus on him.

"Hyung what do you want to eat?" Minghao asked.

"Whatever you'll order, I'll eat." Jun nodded.

"Oh okay." Minghao chuckled.

Soon a waitress arrived and she placed a vase of roses on the table, "Good morning sir. We're told to take good care of you as you are the special guests of Mr. Yoon."

She placed the plates, etc. on the table which looked like couple items, "You both look good together."

"Oh no I think there's a misunderstanding." Minghao hesitantly stated as he laughed.

"We're not together." Jun nodded.

"But Mr. Lee said that." The waitress bowed, "I'm really sorry sir."

"He must be joking, don't worry, it's not your fault." Jun assured.

"I'll quickly remove all this." She referred to the theme she had organised for the supposed to be couple.

"It's alright, we don't mind." Minghao chuckled after which he placed the order.

Meanwhile Jun felt his heart beating faster. He didn't expect that Minghao will casually let it slide but he did.

After the waitress left, Minghao laughed, "This is not the first time. Why does everyone think that we're dating?"

"Probably it's high time for us to actually start dating?" Jun leaned in.

"What?"

"Nothing, just kidding." Jun shrugged although he was not at all joking.

A/n : This was the introduction of some ships. Next chapter would also be an intro for the remaining ones. After that we'll proceed with the plot.
