NAMJOON'S POV

I've worn so  many suits this year because of these weddings. I'm sick of attending these weddings, but I can't miss it because my friends are the ones who are going to be married. Jihyo has been asking me when will I propose to her because she's getting annoyed already. I told her that I don't have any plans on marrying her, so she whacked me using her fist on my head. My head stung as fuck and that's my fault. I was joking her when I told her that I don't have plans even though I have. 

I also have been very busy these days because I was helping out Jeongyeon with her wedding preparations. In return, she's going to help me with my proposal for Jihyo. "Do you have the ring?" She asked as she texts her wedding planner. "She waited for so long."

"We have been through a lot of break ups. Jihyo is not an easy woman to please." I reasoned out and leaned on my chair and crossed my legs. I watch her check the boxes on her checklist. She has always been this meticulous. 

"Weren't you tired?"

"Of what?"

"Of trying to please the same woman over and over again." She looked at me and put her pen down. To be honest, there was a time that I wanted to give up on her. She's just so hard to please, but I keep on coming back to her. I don't know why either.

"I was." I answered. "But I always find myself coming back to her. One day we're okay, the next day we're arguing, but I don't know why I didn't grow tired of our senseless arguments." I added and smiled. She started wriggling her eyebrows up and down to tease me, but I just laughed at her.

"Seems like you're really in love with her."

"Of course, she's my sweetest first love. You're like that to Jeonghan, right?" Jeongyeon chuckled and nodded. We all met our sweetest first loves during high school, but Chaeng and Jeong found theirs just a few years ago. I don't know if Dino is Chaeng's sweetest first love because they broke up and I never saw her cry because of him. The next month after her broke up with Dino, she told us that she's dating a new guy named Moonbin. Chaeng's a player ever since, lol. I can't blame her, though. Even Jimin fell for her during high school, but Dahyun still owned him.

"I've thought of a gimmick." She told me, so I listened carefully of what she said. "There's this ceremony where I will throw my flowers and the lady who will catch it is going to be wed next."

"Hmm, go on." 

"I won't throw it. I mean, I'll act like I'm going to throw it when in fact I'll give it to Jihyo directly and you'll kneel in front of her, asking if she'll marry you. It's that simple." I thought of what she just suggested. It's simple, yet everybody will know that I'll engage myself with Jihyo. It's fine with me. "What do you think?"

"Sounds perfect." I high-fived with her and thanked her for the suggestion.

"Oh, what a handsome baby." Jihyo attempted on pinching Taekwon's cheeks, but I told her not to because the baby might just cry right away. She has quite a temper, so she pinched my cheeks instead. With that, I stole a kiss from her which made her petrify. 

"Ow, what a move." Taehyung laughed off.

The guests for Jeongyeon's wedding started coming one by one. They took pictures everywhere since the church is filled with white and rose baby's breaths. I wore a pastel pink suit today to match with the theme while Jihyo wore something white with pastel pink details. She just looks so beautiful today. Whenever I look into her eyes, I feel like I'm getting sucked into her world again. It will be hard for me to get out once I entered. 

"There's a lot of cameras." Chaeng said and clung her arms with Moonbin's. We never really got to know Moonbin, so we're still a bit awkward with him. Him and Dino are complete opposites and we have this kind of vibe that doesn't like Moonbin for Chaeng. How can she  just give her heart to someone she had just known for less than a month, right? "Are the news agencies here, too?"

"I thought Jeongyeon made her wedding private." Just like what Momo said, I also thought that Jeongyeon didn't tell this to anyone besides us and her family. "I didn't see anything on the news that she announced this thing."

"Same thoughts." Hobi agreed with her girlfriend. I just noticed that they have been dating for so many years already yet they're not getting married. I guess Hobi is still thinking of a proposal for Momo.

"Did you see Jeong earlier?" Tzuyu asked. "No?"

"Nope. She didn't ask any of us to help her. Maybe Seungyeon unnie is already in charge." Sana commented and placed Taekwon on his stroller since he's already drowsy. I heard that Jimin is a barren man when we went to the hospital to see Taekwon months ago. I've been friends with him for such a long time already, yet he didn't tell us this kind of problem. If he did, we could've asked for a specialist's help.

"Guys, let's go now. Jeong is coming any minute now." said by Jeongyeon's wedding planner. We all went to the inside of the church and waited for the bride. I know that this wedding is probably broadcasted live throughout Korea. I have to look more handsome on camera.

The entourage started walking down the aisle. Finally, it's Jeongyeon's turn to walk down. I was smiling as I watch her when I felt someone pinch my waist. "Ouch!" I whispered and looked behind me. Jihyo is getting jealous again. I neared my lips to her ear and whispered, "Don't get jealous."

"You were smiling like a pabo."

"I am a pabo when it comes to you." I winked and pecked on her lips before taking a picture of Jeongyeon.

Jihyo and I walked hand in hand when we entered the reception venue. There's a huge cake at the center and some ice sculptures beside it. I can only say wow. Jeongyeon really did a huge amount of effort for making her wedding this successful. We sat on a table with Nayeon, Yoongi, Jin , Mina, Taehyung and Sana. It seems like we're in a table where wed couples are only allowed to take a seat. At my peripheral view, I can see Jihyo checking out each couple on the table. They're all hands on with their children and I can sense that she's getting envious again.

As soon as the newly wed couple came, flower petals were thrown and a little thank you ceremony was held. The garter ceremony took place and we were all shouting when Jeonghan did a sexy dance in front of Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon's face is as red as a tomato. She has been telling Jeonghan to stop it because she's been getting embarrassed of him. Many were taking a video and they have probably uploaded it on the social media. 

And then, the throwing of the bouquet was next. All unmarried women have to go to the center and catch Jeongyeon's bouquet. If anyone of them would catch it, it means that she's the next lady to get married on the next year, if possible. I asked Jihyo why is she not going to the center. I have been eyeing Jeongyeon not to throw the flowers until I made my girlfriend join the crowd.

"Why would I even join them? You don't even have plans for us to get married." She retorted and remained silent. 

"I was just kidding when I told you that." I said and sighed. "C'mon, now. Jeongyeon is waiting for you."

"C'mon, Jihyo! This is just for fun!" Many have been telling her to join already, so thanks to peer pressure, they made her go there and join. Jeongyeon acted like she's going to throw it on a count of three. When we all counted three, she didn't throw it and gave it to Jihyo. My girlfriend was very confused when Jeongyeon did such a thing. I stood up and knelt in front of her, just like what have been planned.

"Marry me?" My heart was thumping hard because she's just staring at me, probably thrilled. "Ji, marry me?" I repeated. The whole place is dead quiet, not until she nodded her head and I inserted the ring on her ring finger. I stood up and hugged her right away. "I told you I was just joking when I said that I don't have any plans on marrying you."

"You sweet rascal. I love you." I just hummed a yes and we remained like that for about two seconds. Everyone greeted us after my proposal to Jihyo.
