OMNISCIENT

"Annyeong!" Jeonghan, with a bouquet of blue roses in his hand, made a surprise visit in Jeongyeon's recording studio. She was with a host when Jeonghan greeted everyone. He even brought boxes of pizza and chicken to everyone in set.

Jeongyeon shyly excused herself and stood up to greet her husband. He welcomed him with a peck on her lips which made her blush. She hit his chest lightly, "Why did you do that?" She's not angry. She's just shy because everyone saw their sweet scene.

"It's a greeting, wifey." She finds it cringey and funny at the same time whenever Jeonghan uses that endearment towards her. "Why don't you all get a break? I brought some good stuff!" Jeonghan said and attended to the other people's needs. Jeongyeon just looked at him, smiling. She watched her husband care for other people. This is one of the reasons why she loves Jeonghan so much. He's considerate, caring, loving, sweet and kind. He's just a good man. She even thought that she doesn't deserve such good guy. She has done a lot of bad things and made a lot of bad decisions in life, but Jeonghan never left her for those.

Jeonghan placed a pizza on a plate and walked over Jeongyeon. He handed her a slice and a cup of Coke. "Thanks, hon." Jeongyeon took the plate and cup from him and started eating. She can hear thank yous from various people on the seat. The host can't even stop thanking Jeonghan for the food that he brought.

"Have you heard?" Jeonghan stepped towards Jeongyeon and ate his chicken leg with her.

"What?" She asked.

"Tzuyu is on labor for about 5 hours now." She's shocked. Tzuyu has been enduring pain for about 5 hours and she can't even believe it. "She's a tough girl. She can endure it."

"Where's Jungkook?"

"He skipped work to help Tzuyu breathe." Jeonghan smiled at Jeongyeon. He wanted to tell her his plans about having a family, but having a celebrity as a wife is not that easy. He can't just impregnate Jeongyeon because he wants a family with her. He considers her schedule and her body. She must've been tired from her busy schedule. She sometimes have a schedule abroad. It would take him a week to wait for her before she gets back. It's sad in his part, tho.

"What?" She giggled.

"Nothing. Your eyes gleam for the nth time. It's flirting with me as always." She chuckled and just shook her head sideways. "You better finish that later. Your director is readying everything again for your shoot."

"I can finish this is one more bite, hon."

"That's 3/4 of the pizza, wifey. You can't finish that in a single bite--" What he thought is wrong because Jeongyeon ate it, shameless. He gave her her soda right away and watched her munch the pizza. "Oh, poor pizza." After that, she went to the set with the host and continued their shoot. Jeonghan stayed at the set because he doesn't have any more things to do at 1 AM. He just sat in a corner for a while and watched the recording.

"Hon, honey." Jeongyeon shook Jeonghan repeatedly so he would wake up. He blinked his eyes a few times and stretched his arms out. She smiled and kissed his forehead, "Let's go now."

"What time is it?" He stood up from the monoblock chair and stretched more.

"It's 3 AM."

"What?" He suddenly remembered that he has to go to work at 6 AM. He has 3 hours to get ready to work or else his boss will fire him. He rushed towards the elevator and told Jeongyeon to enter right away. Her assistant came along with them inside.

"Why are you in a hurry?" She asked.

"I have to be early today. I got late yesterday." Jeongyeon felt a sudden guilt because she's also the reason why he was late yesterday morning. He came to the set at 3 AM yesterday to wait for Jeongyeon because he can't sleep without her. Jeongyeon's schedule finished at 7 AM that he didn't even notice the time. He arrived at the company at approximately 10 AM, so he was kind of 3 hours late.

Jeonghan noticed how she avoided his glances, so he sighed and held her hand. Once the elevator's doors opened wide, they headed to his car right away. They both hopped in and Jeonghan drove as fast as he can. They both arrived at their house in less than 30 minutes because there were no traffic at all. Usually, it would take them 30 minutes or more bedore they could arrive.

"Why don't you go to bed already? I'll just have to fix my things for later."

"I'm sorry," Jeongyeon held his hand. "You didn't have to wait for me every day after my schedule, you know. It's not that I don't appreciate your efforts, but this is inconvenient to you, too." Her head remained low because of the guilt. She doesn't want to gaze at his good face because it makes her feel more guilty.

"It's okay. It's not your fault." Jeonghan cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead. "Go to bed, okay? I'll be there in a few, too."

Jeongyeon was still asleep when Jeonghan decided to go to work. He had a 30-minute sleep because he finished his workloads late. He had to review reports, memos and such. He cooked up some breakfast for his wife and left a note on the refridgerator saying that he already left and he cooked something up for her.

He just made himself some coffee, so that he would not feel drowsy while driving. As soon as he hopped in his car, he felt like his eyelides are closing already. He kept on yawning as soon he starts to drive. His coffee is useless because he is still sleepy.

Because of his sleepy condition, he didn't notice that he's overspeeding already and he even crashed into a car infront of him. He immediately pulled the breaks and parked his car. A lot of smoke started to come out from his car's hood.

He heard a lot of knocks on his window, so he rolled down and got scolded by the car's owner. Because of the accident, the traffic started forming. "I-I'm sorry," he apologized and called the police to help up in their situation. "I-I didn't mean to crash into your car. I got a little bit drowsy--"

"Then you shouldn't have driven! You do know that I can sue you for that, right?!"

"Y-Yes, sir, but please do not do that. I'm doing everything I can to--"

"No, you're not! The least that you did is call the police!"

"Calling the police is enough, sir. They can help us out in our situation."

"The cops always come late--wait," the man looked closer to him and pointed his temple. "Is that blood?"

"W-What?" He touched his temple and did see blood in his hands.

"Stupid guy! You should've called the ambulance!" He didn't even hear what the man said because he just fainted.

"Annyeong?" When Jeonghan first opened his eyes, he was expecting to see Jeongyeon beside her, but he just saw Dino. It's been a long time since the two saw each other because of Dino's break up with Chaeyoung. "Where's Jeongyeon?"

"We haven't contacted her yet." Dino said.

He sighed and looked away, "Don't contact her. She must be busy with her career."

"C'mon, Jeonghan. Don't shoo your wife away."

"I am not shooing her away. I'm just worried that we might disturb her. Besides that, I do not want her to worry for me all the time. I can handle myself, you know." Dino rolled his eyes and crossed his arms and legs. He heaved a deep sigh and stared at his friend. He can see how lonely Jeonghan's eyes are. He might be smiling, but he knows that it's fake. He decided to stand up and call Jeongyeon. "Where are you going?" Jeonghan asked.

"I'm checking out the hospital bill. I'm going to get some coffee, too." Dino lied, but he did his best to make it look as natural as it would seem. Jeonghan just nodded and then his friend exited his room. He fished his phone and called Jeongyeon.

He headed towards the accounting office of the hospital to check out the hospital bill. It took him two tries before Jeongyeon actually answered his call.

"Jeongyeon-ah," Dino called.

"Dino? I'm in the middle of a photoshoot. What is it that you have to tell me?"

Dino groaned in frustration, "Your husband is hospitalized, okay? We're at Asan Medical Center."

"What? What happened?"

"He crashed into a car."

"I-I'll be there soon. Bye." With that, Dino ended the call and assumed that Jeongyeon will be on her way to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Jeongyeon's manager didn't let her go that easily. She kept on begging her manager to buy her some time, but the manager said that they can't reschedule a photoshoot because of Jeongyeon's hectic schedule. Biting her lip, she gave up and texted Dino back.

Dino received the text message as soon as he told Jeonghan that he called Jeongyeon. "What? Why did you call her?" Jeonghan asked.

"She needs to know your condition, dude." Shortly after that, he did receive a text message from Jeongyeon. "She'll be here soon anyway." He opened the text message and read the bad news. His eyebrows furrowed hard. "She said that she won't be able to make it."

"I told you that she's busy because of her work. Don't mind her." Jeonghan said and continued reading a book. Dino knew that a relationship like that won't even last long because of Jeongyeon's excuses and schedule.
