SANA'S POV

Our day ended out fine. Wait, actually, it's not fine at all. I was so into my business mind earlier that I forgot that Taehyung is beside me. It seemed like he became my instant assistant. We went to the different branches of my stalls to check out if they're doing alright. So, as far as what I saw and checked, business here in Japan is in the average state only. I knew I needed to do something, so that my business will boom in the market again. Because of that reason, I decided to check the warehouse and do my thing.

It took us a few hours and a half before my business there finished. It was past 8 PM when our so-called meeting ended. I called a meeting, so that I can hear suggestions and such on how to make my business better. I heard a few suggestions such as adding a new scent to our collection, but that's too mainstream. I wanted a new product and what caught my attention is lingerie. Me and my people would just have to talk about it some other day since today became a very busy day.

I'm actually glad that Tae is with me. Whenever I take phone calls and he thinks that I'm getting stressful again, he would hold my hand and tell me that I should just calm everything in me and it really helps, but I'm concerned about the fact that I almost didn't talk to him. Whenever we ride a cab, a bus or through the subway, I always take phone calls. There is no time for me to talk to him about our own lives. My day revolved around my business only, so that's why I prepared dinner for him.

Since we're going to my parents tonight for a formal family dinner, I decided to wear a sleek pastel pink dress with a lace pattern. He also wore a pastel pink suit and then we headed on our way to the restaurant that dad texted me. The family dinner was originally planned for tomorrow evening, but my dad suggested that we should just adjust the dinner tonight, so that me and Tae can just enjoy each other's company the whole day tomorrow. I'm sure that he's really excited to meet Tae in a more formal way tonight. The last time that he saw him was when our first wedding. They have never heard of him after that event.

"You nervous?" I asked Tae as we're inside the cab.

He looked at me and made a soft smile, "Nope, I am not." He answered which made my brow raise because that's not the answer that I was expecting. "I've met them before, okay? There's no way I'm getting nervous." He said with full confidence.

I made a smirk and turned my head away from him. "That's what you think, Tae." I said and looked at my peripheral view to see his face. I saw how his Adam's apple went up and down for a few times. He kept on gulping which made me burst out a laugh. "You have to relax."

"I'm actually..." he sighed, so I automatically held his hand and squeezed it a little. "...nervous." Just as I thought. "Are they mad at me?"

"What?" I chuckled. He's a paranoid. How can they be mad at my man? They don't have any right to be mad at Tae if they will. "What are you talking about?"

He heaved a deep breath, "The last time that they saw me was when that horrible thing happen. They must've been mad at me because I left you back then." He explained. I got his point, but that shouldn't worry him. I can explain to my parents whatever happened to me and Tae. I can do it.

"Don't worry. I can handle it. You just have to lean your head on my shoulder and relax. I'll take care of everything." I whispered to him as I slowly put his head on my shoulder literally. I held his hand tighter than ever and smiled. I can do it.

I can't do it.

"Sana, let's talk." Dad said with a serious tone and walked out of the dining area. I was about to stand up when Tae held my hand and looked at me with a nervous expression. I smiled to assure him that nothing bad will happen. I will just have to talk to dad anyway and that's a normal thing between fathers and daughters.

When I reached our garden, I saw him massaging his temples as if something is really stressing him out. "Come here, dear." As soon as he saw me, he said those words. I took a few steps forward until I reached him. He looked at me intently. "What the hell are you doing?"

"What?" I reacted, though I know that this might lead to an argument that I do not want to happen. "Dad, what are you talking about?"

"Why do you keep on falling for a man who can't even marry you?" He said those words with emphasis. "He left you on the altar, Sana--"

"And he came back to me, dad. He never had any women in his life after he ran away. He came back because he still loves me--"

"He came back because you have power. You have money--"

"No, dad." I said with full conviction. "Whatever you're saying right now is wrong. You don't know what happened to us in Korea. You don't have any idea how we ended up again together." I said with no pauses. I am ready to give him a hundred million reasons why I'm ready to marry Taehyung at all costs.

He looked at my stomach area. As far as he knows, I am pregnant because the last time he checked up on me is that I was. He must've been thinking where is my baby right now, so I was about to speak when he said something again. "Where's your baby?" I knew that he's going to ask me those words.

"My baby--"

"Are you going to marry him because you don't want your kid to know that he was just born out of wedlock?" I can't believe that dad is saying words that I can't even digest. I can't believe that he's saying harsh words to me right now. I can't believe that he's concluding things without concrete reasons.

"Dad, I lost my baby." He then looked into my eyes right away. His face became soft and he can't rebutt right after. "It's a long story, but I lost my son, dad."

"H-How...?" I just shook my head. He walked slowly towards me and held me in his arms. I suddenly feel like crying again just by thinking of that thought. The pain that my son left me is unbearable and engraved on my heart already. It's a scar that will not heal anymore.

He started to caress my head with his bare hands. He said sorry because he wasn't beside me as my dad when I was going through pain. He said a lot of comforting words to the point that he said that it's okay for me to marry Tae. He just wants to give me the freedom to marry whoever I want to marry. He just wants me to be happy and Tae is my happiness. He can't take me away from him.

As soon as I rubbed my eyes to wipe my tears, I saw mom beside Tae on the sliding glass doors of our house. Tae was smiling softly while mom is grinning widely.

The next day, after my parents gave us our blessing for our soon-to-be wedding, we decided to pack our things first before going on a date. Our first destination is a coffee shop, so we can eat breakfast before anything else and our next stop is the Disneyland. We just want to spend our time as kids again. This might be the last time that we'll spend our day like this.

"Red velvet waffles?" I asked him and he nodded in response. "Coffee?" His face went from soft to yuck instantly which made me laugh. "What's wrong?"

"I don't like coffee. It's bitter." He explained. "I'm fine with a hot chocolate drink." I hummed a yes as a response and decided to order for the both of us. Tae knows a little Japanese, but he forgot his skills because he's not practising. Once we got our food, we went back to our table to start eating.

"Bon apetit." I said with a smile and started slicing my stacked pancakes in half. He nodded and started munching his waffles, too. I'm going to miss this kind of moment. Our times together will lessen once our kids were born, but that's okay. He will become busy because of his singing career while me, I'll also be busy, of course.

We talked about a few things and of course, he did ask me why I was crying yesterday night. I wasn't able to explain him everything because I was still recovering when we arrived at the hotel. Dad decided to give us a ride last night, tho.

"Just..." I sighed. "...I told dad about the lost baby and got emotional all of a sudden. I became more emotional when he started to comfort me. I missed his hugs."

"Who wouldn't right?" I nodded. "I miss mom's caresses as well." I wasn't able to say something knowing that his mom already passed away. He's recovered, but it still pains him, for sure.

After eating, we decided to head on our way to Disneyland, so we can start riding a lot of attractions. I guess it's still safe me to ride even though I'm pregnant. It's just a very little fetus inside me and I just have to whisper to him to hold on while mommy is enjoying her day.
