SANA'S POV
After dressing up, I went out from the shower room with a robe on my body and a towel on my head. I opened the door and saw Tae looking at me right after I stepped out of the bathroom. His eyebrows were crossed and his mouth is slightly opened while he's holding my phone...my phone? Why is he holding my phone?
"What's the matter?" I asked him and walked towards him, but he didn't answer me. He was just staring at me with the same look until I stopped in front of him. "Hon," I called him and so I saw a text message on the screen of my phone. Dr. Oh...? Oh, shit. I didn't know what should I say because I ran out of words. I knew my eyes were shaking and my lips are trembling. My heart was pounding, even though he wasn't saying anything yet. I feel like my heart will burst out from my chest.
He shut his eyes tightly and sighed very deeply before telling me, "Disease, Sana?" He asked. I don't know if he was mad or anything because I can't read his eyes well. He has a lot of emotions going on inside his head. "W-Why..." he can't seem to find the right words. "...why didn't you tell me?" His voice was weak and his tone is demanding. He's demanding for answers.
"I-I..." don't know. I'm so stupid. "I-I'm so sorry." I whispered and held his hands. "I-I was going to tell you, but I don't know how. You were in the peak of your career and--"
"--I don't care about my career right now, Sana! What's important to me is you and our family!" He shouted and there, I knew, I fucked up big time. I shook my head sideways repeatedly, trying to explain why, but it seemed like he didn't bother hearing one of my words. I suddenly felt like I didn't matter. "Can we rest for a while? Let's talk about this tomorrow." He slid my phone on the counter and went to bed. I watched him snuggle under the thick blankets, leaving me standing.

OMNISCIENT
Taekwon heard their little argument from outside the door. He wanted to sleep with them tonight, so he was about to knock and enter with a pillow on his hand when he heard their talks. Sighing, he decided not to bother with them anymore. He threw his pillow on the bed and does himself.
The next day, Taekwon got ready for breakfast. He was woken up by Sana and so his day became brighter. His grandparents use to wake him up everyday and seeing his mom in front of him today makes him happy. "Let's go downstairs, okay?" Taekwon nodded and smiled. Sana took him by the hand and they both went downstairs. Taehyung was wearing an apron when they reached the dining area. He's also wearing a head band on his head which Taekwon found cute. He could never see his dad this cute again.
"Why is dad home?" He asked.
"He decided to cancel his schedule today, so we can spend more time together, sweetie." Sana kissed Taekwon's cheek and told him to start eating, so he won't be late for school.
Taehyung and Sana weren't talking that morning because of what happened last night. She's afraid to approach him because he still may be mad at her for not telling a very important thing.
Unluckily, Taekwon did notice their actions, but he wanted to keep silent instead. After he finished breakfast, Sana led him to the bathroom to get him showered and toothbrushed. When he finished all of those, they saw Taehyung waiting inside their car.
"Are you coming, eomma?" Taekwon asked, grinning from ear to ear. Sana glanced at Taehyung's serious face before nodding. She would do it for their son, but it would be okay for them, too, so that she would have a chance to talk to him. So that she can explain. "Aren't you taking Taeha with you?" Taekwon intrigued.
"A-Ah, grandma and grandpa are taking care of her right now." Taekwon nodded and hopped in the back of the car. She sat on the passenger's seat and Taehyung drove them off.
Sana hopped off when they arrived at the school. She opened the car's door for Taekwon since it's on child lock's mode. Taekwon hugged her as soon as he jumped off from the car which warmed her heart.
"Have a nice day ahead at school, baby." Sana embraced him tightly and let go eventually. The little boy waved his hands good bye and started heading towards his classroom. She entered the car again and Taehyung drove themselved back to the house.
As they were heading back, Sana thought of opening up the topic. "Taeha has Dravet Syndrome." She told him, but he kept silent. He probably wants more explanation. She thought. "Something's wrong with her gene and it's not hereditary. She might be having seizures every day and as she gets older, the symptoms will be harder to observe."
"Is she taking meds?"
Sana hummed a yes, "Yeah. There's a lot of prescription that the doctor gave. Dr. Oh also told me to practice Taeha's speech and help her walk straight because her balance is affected because of the syndrome." She only heard Taehyung's sigh after what she had explained. "I'm sorry for not telling you."
Taehyung reached for her hand and grasped it tightly, "Baby, honey, I'm your husband. I have every right to know what's going on our daughter, so never hesitate telling me these things." Her head fell. She felt disappointed of herself. How can she doubt her husband in telling things like that, anyway? Taehyung has a major point. "When can she be cured?"
Sana bit her lower lip and looked at him. "There's no cure, honey." She said in a faint voice which made Taehyung petrify. "Sooner or later..." she paused. "...we might not see her again--"
"Is that so?" Taehyung cut her off. She espied his shaking lips. "Then..." he trailed. "...let's make the best out of her life." She never thought that Taehyung would say anything like that. She never heard him say something so positive, so she was pretty shocked.
"Sorry..." she apologized again.
"It's fine. I just want you to trust me more."

It's Taekwon's 8th birthday and Sana invited her friends to come over their house for the party. Sana had her parents prepare something before she comes home. As much as she wanted to ditch work, she can't because she has a lot of meetings that day. She also fired some workers for specific reasons and now she has to hire people. She's so tired because she can't find eligible employees for her company. She was only able to hire five out of twenty who came. She needs to have another day of hiring employees.
Meanwhile, Taehyung decided to stay home for that day. He asked his managers for a day off even though there are no day offs for idols. Luckily, his manager said yes, so he stayed home and helped Sana's parents.
Their guests started coming one by one and they all have their gifts for the little one. It's Taekwon's birthday, yet they also bought Taeha a gift which made the little boy feel unfair. It's his special day, but why would other people bother giving his sister a gift?
"Happy birthday, Taekwonieeee!" Minrin handed out her gift for Taekwon. He blushed and thanked his noona. "Where's Taeha?" He rolled his eyes. "I want to play with her!" Minri said gleefully.
"Hi, Taekwon!" Chanbin waved his hands to the kid. "Let's play outside!"
"Don't you want to join Minrin noona?" Taekwon asked.
"Let's just play altogether!" He had no choice but to join Minrin and Chanbin upstairs. Taeha is being taken care of her grandma inside her room because Taehyung is busy cooking with his father-in-law.
They knocked first before entering. They saw Taeha playing with the blocks. She's giggling which made Minrin and Chanbin's hearts flutter. They really like little and younger kids whenever they play. Of course, Taekwon feels like his sister is taking all of the attention from his friends.
He played with them silently. He doesn't talk even though they're having a tea party hosted by Minrin. Someone knocked on the door, so he opened it and saw Joohee. "Happy birthday, Wonwon!" Wonwon? Tch. He doesn't like the nickname that Joohee gave him. "Can I play with you guys?" He opened the door wider and let Joohee play with them.
"How come Taeha doesn't talk yet?" Minrin asked, but Taekwon didn't care. As they were playing, they noticed Taeha. "Why is Taeha shaking?" She asked. "Halmeonie! Taeha's shaking!" Taeha fell on the floor, having her third seizure for that day. Sana's mother went to her aid right away and did what the doctors told them to do.
Taekwon was only staring at his little sister, wondering why is she shaking that much that she's even drooling. "Kids, go downstairs, now." They nodded and did what the elderly told them, but Taekwon stayed. He doesn't understand. "You, too, Taek." He was somehow frightened when he was staring at his little sister, but he decided to run away.
