OMNISCIENT

Once Sana's friends stepped inside the hospital, they asked the nurse on the desk where Taehyung could be. The others looked around the area to see if Sana is sitting on a bench or so. The nurse flipped the pages of her clipboard to look for the patient's name.

"Oh, he's inside the operation room." The nurse answered with a smile and pointed the directions where could they find the operation room. Dahyun's eyebrows were furrowed hard because she cannot digest the fact that Taehyung is inside a place like that. Once the nurse finished telling them the direction, she looked at them and smiled, though it confuses her why are they not moving yet. "Is there something wrong?" She asked.

"No," Jimin shook his head and tried catching for his breath. That sprint that they did from the spacious parking lot up to the hospital is no joke. "Thank you." He nodded and led his friends to the room where Taehyung is taken. They're all really worried of his condition.

"I wish he didn't have any major injuries," Momo whispered as they walk towards the room. "Right, honey?" Hobi looked at his girlfriend and smiled slightly. He nodded a little and held her hand tightly to assure her.

"Haven't you contacted Sana?" Mina asked Jin who is holding Minrin. The little girl still doesn't know what's going on, yet she's putting on a serious face because everyone is serious as hell as well.

"I tried calling her earlier, but she's not answering." He said and they all stepped inside the escalator at once. "Try calling her again. My phone is inside my pocket." Mina slipped her hands inside his back pocket and fished his phone, so she can call Sana. Her friend's phone kept on ringing and no one seems to bother answering it, so she decided to end it instead.

"Her phone kept on ringing." Mina worriedly said. They stepped out of the escalator and made their way to the operation room successfully. They entered the waiting area and there they saw Sana who is sobbing silently.

"Sana!" Tzuyu called her. She looked at them right away and cried even more when she saw her friends. They welcomed her with a warm hug and asked her several questions about Taehyung. "How is he?" Tzuyu asked.

"He's...s-still getting s-stitches." She sniffed and wiped her tears. They noticed that her clothes are stained with blood.

"How about you? Are you okay?" Dahyun asked her and held her hands. "We're really worried because we can't contact you."

"I-I didn't notice." She answered with a low voice.

"That's alright, honey." Nayeon caressed her friend's hair. They all decided to wait for Taehyung in that area for a few hours. Minrin fell asleep on Mina's arms because of drowsiness. Sana looked at that little kid and realized that she was the one that Taehyung kept on talking about earlier.

"She looks like an angel." Sana said out of the blue as she stares at the little kid on her friend's daughter. Mina faced her and made a little smile. She doesn't know what she should say to her because she knows what happened to her friend.

"I'm still sorry of what happened to your baby." Mina said in a low voice, almost a whisper, actually, so that Minrin won't wake up from her slumber.

"It's not your fault." She smiled weakly and just played with her fingers as they wait for some announcement from a doctor. "It's nobody's fault." Her voice cracked when she said those words. It's been really tough for her these past few days. She lost her baby and she can't afford to lose Taehyung as well.

She felt Mina's soft caress on her back, trying to comfort her. "Stay strong, Sana. We've got your back if you feel like falling."

"I'm so thankful to have loyal friends like you guys." She said and when they heard the door's creak, they stood up. A surgeon exited the operation room and asked for the patient's relative, so Sana stood up right away and asked about her fiancé.

Her heart is thumping hard and her fingers are trembling. "H-How is he, d-doc?" She stuttered.

The surgeon took off his mask and smiled a little, "We stitched some of his deep cuts that were caused by the shredded pieces of glasses from the accident. There are no major injuries except for the fact that he's got a hairline fracture on his arm." She sighed because of relief. She's glad that her fiancé is still alive. "He fainted because of the loss of blood, but don't worry. He's fine right now. We're just going to transfer him in a private room after the operation." After that, the doctor fled from her and entered the room once more. She was left standing in that place, barely immovable because of the information that she obtained from the surgeon.

"Sana," she faced Jungkook and Namjoon who both mentioned her name. "There are reporters outside the waiting area. They want to interview you." Namjoon said, so Sana took a quick glance at the window of the waiting room. She can see some flashes of the camera and the faint noise from the reporters can be heard clearly. She sighed. She knew that she has to give them an interview because she's a business person that needs to be interrogated in such times like these.

"We can reject them anytime. I can sweep them away, Sana. I'll just have to ask our former bodyguards--"

"No, I'm okay." Sana told Jungkook and smiled. "I just need you guys on my back because for sure I'll be bombarded by those nasty reporters." They looked at her worriedly. She seemed like she can handle them already, when in fact she's not. She may be relieved by the fact that Taehyung's condition is stable already, but she's obviously still not okay. She has lots of things to think about still.

"Are you sure about this?" Momo asked, completely worried as soon as Sana headed her way towards the exit doors.

"Look, Sana, as your friends, we don't find this comfortable for you. You're still having a hard time." Jeonghan held her arm and gave her a meaningful look. Sana knew that most of her friends will not agree to this since things are still not that okay. She had second thoughts and while thinking, she was distracted by some noise coming from a crowd. Their attentions were diverted to the exit doors.

"Irene? Why is she here?" Jungkook whispered when he saw Irene open that door and did her best to enter.

"Why is she with Hanbin oppa?" Dahyun asked with a curious tone. Helping Irene get through that door is Hanbin who is behind her. He tried pushing the reporters away and when they both successfully entered, they sighed in relief.

"Why the heck are those reporters outside?" They can feel how irrirated Irene is. Her eyes met Sana's, so she awkwardly averted it away from her. "We came to know Tae's condition."

"He's better than we expected." Sana answered her in such cold tone. She doesn't want to be rude to Irene even though she's questioning the fact that she's there. She knows that Irene is just Taehyung's friend, but she can't hide the fact that she'll still get jealous of her.

"Is that so?" Hanbin asked and took a step towards Sana. "How are you? Were you hurt? Did the doctors checked up on you as well--"

"Look, Hanbin, I'm perfectly physically fine. You don't have to worry about me." She assured her a smile and decided to take a seat. "Can you guys tell those reporters that I'm not in the mood for an interview yet?" Jihyo and Jeongyeon nodded and rushed towards outside in a flash. They talked to the reporters and told them what Sana instructed them to say.

Sana's mood fell down when she saw Irene. She doesn't want to see her there because she feels like she doesn't have any rights to go there, even though she has because she's a dear friend.

"You know what?" Momo whispered, so Sana hummed a yes and asked why. "If you're jealous of Irene, don't let Tae feel the same way."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Hanbin." She answered. "Do you know how will Tae react if ever he sees Hanbin and you talk?"

"We're just friends, Momo. Don't make a big deal out of it--"

"That's exactly what I'm trying to point here, Sana." Momo emphasized and sighed. "You never noticed how Hanbin looks at you, but we do. His eyes are sparkling whenever he converses with you and that makes us feel worried. If you want Tae to trust in you and him, you have to trust his friendship with Irene, too, okay?" For the first time in her life, Sana received something sensical from Momo, that one friend that's been a pabo since elementary school because she hit her head on a wall. Sana had second thoughts on what her best friend told her.
