Laksh : why the fuck he did not come to pick you up?
Ragini stared at him with teary eyes.
Laksh : where is he? (sternly)
Ragini (smiling sadly) : i never got married.
Laksh looked at her dumbfounded.
Laksh : wh.... What?
Ragini : yes. I never made it through the wedding.
Laksh : but you said that you got married. Didn't you?
Ragini : no laksh. Please try to remember that not even once I told you that i was married.
Laksh : but that day on the plane.......
He trailed off as his mind went back to remember whatever happened that day.
Laksh : upset? Why?
Ragini : um.... I am not... Not upset.
Laksh : say it ragu... (sternly)
Ragini : because you didn't come to my wedding.

Laksh: Yes you did not. Ya but what about your husband and stuff?

Raginis face fell but she hid it before he could notice.
Laksh : visiting your husband?
Ragini : uh... Hmm.. I....
Voice : sir, mam. It is time for dinner.
Laksh : yea sure. Please get us ours.

Laksh : oh my god. That is why you did not want me to stay that day. When i said i want to meet your husband. Right?
Ragini nodded her head silently and smiled. She was about to say something but she was interrupted by the slamming of door as sia and ryan came inside frowning. Ragini looked at them confused but laksh was too stunned to have any other emotions.
Sia pointing towards ragini.
Sia: you... You... You are ragini right?
Ragini nodded her head in yes while sia jumped in happiness and ryan looked at her like "have you lost your mind?"
Sia jumped and hugged ragini tightly screaming oh my god.
Ragini smiled awkwardly, laksh face-palmed himself while ryan just stood there confused.
Sia: oh my god, i have heard so much about you from laksh. He always talked about how close you both were, how much you cared about each other and how much he....
She stopped as she looked at laksh who was sitting blankly without any kind of emotion. Sia was confused that he wasn't feeling even embarrassed about this whole situation. She gave ryan a look and he went towards laksh and kept his palm on his shoulder making laksh come out of his blank daze. Laksh looked at ragini and sighed
Laksh : what happened on your wedding day?
Ryan and sia gave each other a known look. They thought that laksh was so broken because ragini was married. They looked at ragini
Sia: you.... You are married?
Ragini nodded in no, not taking her eyes off laksh.
Ryan: wait... Wait.. What is going on here? I am so confused. Please someone clarify.
Ragini : i will answer all your questions. So what happened was....
Ragini : no laksh, i don't want to hear anything about how busy you are or anything else. You have to come to my wedding.
Laksh : ragini you know i can't. But i will try. I promise.
Ragini sighed defeated as she really wanted him to come but his answer is a confirmation that he wont.
Voice :wait... Wait....
Everyone looked at sia who was frowning with little confusion and a little annoyance.
Ryan: what is it?.
Sia: ragini, you knew what laksh felt about you. Even if you didn't.....
Laksh : sia... (sternly)
Sia: no. Laksh let me finish. Even if you didn't feel the same about him. Why would you call him at your wedding. Why?
Laksh : siaaa.....
Ragini : no laksh, let her. Being your friend she has every right to question the things that bring you pain, right?
(she said looking at sia and then at laksh and then finally smiles making laksh to give a small smile too)

Voice : seriously ragini, how do you handle this jerk?
Voice2 : yea. He is so goddamn irritating.
Ragini stopped writing and turned to look at two of her friends who were currently critizing her best friend. She gave them a pointed look.
Ragini : listen ria and you as well swarna. I know that he can be bit irritating sometimes but he is not doing anything to you both. He is only like this with me, so don't bother about it. And secondly i have gotten used to his nonsense talk. Which by the way makes me smile even when I don't feel like doing it so.... You guys really have nothing to worry about as he doesn't even talk to you unless he doesn't know where i am.
They both just huffed in response.
Ragini rolled her eyes and went back to her writing unknown to the fact that laksh was sitting just behind her with his head pressed against the desk. And he happened to hear everything. Therefore left no chance to be cocky.

Voice : laksh, you have to choose between me and her.
Ragini : kavya, what's wrong with you? How can you keep such a petty condition in front of your boyfriend?
Kavya (smirking) : why ragini, you scared that he wil choose me? Because he will.
Ragini actually flinched at the thought of loosing her best friend which did not go unnoticed by laksh.
Ragini : i...
Laksh : i have made a choice.
Both ragini and kavya looked at him. Kavya had a smug look on her face while ragini had a sad one. Ragini started to leave as she saw laksh made his way towards kavya. But she stopped midway as she felt a hold on her wrist. She turned to see laksh holding her wrist still looking at kavya.
Laksh: i made a choice.
And i choose her.
(he said finally looking at ragini)
Ragini smiled with teary eyes.
Laksh : she never liked you kavya. But then also she made sure that you were happy in this relationship. That you didn't feel betrayed. But not anymore. I don't want to be with you.
He pulled ragini towards him.
Ragini (looking at laksh) : you don't deserve him kavya. He is too good for you.
Kavya: how dare you?
Laksh (angrily) : don't you dare touch her. She is my bestfriend. She will say whatever she wants to as she cares for me....

Ragini looked at sia anf smiled..
Ragini : you want to know, why i was calling him, right?
Sia nodded her head.
Ragini : because I needed help.
Laksh held her elbow and turned her so that she was looking at him.
Laksh : help?
Ragini nodded her head in yes
Laksh : help for what?
Ragini : for running away.
