Laksh : ohhh. No. Its not. It was just the start...
That is from where things started changing for better or worse.
He said looking at ragini with a small smile.
Ryan: what do you mean by that? Things changed..... How?
Ragini : it helped us realize something...

Flashback.
Ragini watched laksh as she and karan came inside the college. He was talking to his girlfriend which made ragini a little upset as she really missed her best friend. Who she thinks she has lost. She decided not to bother them and act like she did not see them and left.
She sat down at her regular place as karan came to join her. Ragini might not say it loud but she really adored karan. He was nice, kind and he filled the small void she felt when laksh was not around. Maybe not completely but he filled it. She smiled at him and karan smiled back at her. He settled down next to her and soon both fell in an ordinary yet comforting pattern.

Sia: wait, karan was comforting?
Ragini : no. Karan IS comforting.
After laksh he was basically my best friend. Me and laksh, we did not really spend so much of time together.
Laksh : ya. We both were dealing.
Ryan : dealing with what exactly?
Laksh : dealing with the fact that we were drifting apart. Fast.

Flashback :
Laksh came running to class so he could catch up with ragini but again stopped when he saw that she was already settled. And was she settled happily. She looked so comfortable with karan. It was like she didn't even remember laksh. He went on to sit on the first bench while ragini was way back. He turned around to talk to a guy sitting behind him and thats when he caught raginis eyes and she smiled at him. And it took every will power he had in him not to smile back. And he did not smile back, he could see her smile falter and that hurt him but he just couldn't bring himself to smile. And what killed him more was the fact that he did not know why the hell was he upset? Why? Its not like she cannot have more friends. She can have friends that are not him. Of course she can. And he had no right to be upset. But he still was. He looked at her once before turning and saw that she was now completely ignoring him nad was back to having conversation with karan. Its like he is not even there. He felt really bad but now he couldn't do anything.

Sia: why the hell would you do that? Why?
Laksh :i was hurting
Ryan: so? You wanted to hurt her too? What the fuck is wrong with you? Huh?
Laksh : hey.... (offended) i would never hurt her at least not intentionally. I didn't know what i was thinking. I just did what I did. No reason.
Ragini : you really hurt me that day laksh. I never expected you to do something like that. You just ignored me like i didn't matter. I felt so bad that i meant so less to you. I....
(she now had tears in het eyes and to make sure no one sees her wailing she turns back to wipe her eyes)
Laksh: don't be stupid ragini. Stop being stupid. You. You always mattered. You mattered then and you matter now. I am so sorry for ignoring you but trust me my intention was not to hurt you. I swear.
Ragini (little smile) : i know.
Sia(smilingly) : you clearly care and cared for each other so what happened later?
Ragini : well I decided to knock some sense into him.
Ryan : you?
Laksh : well, whenever i was way above my head she would just knock some sense.
Ryan: okay... How?
Flashback :
Ragini and karan sat together for two lectures and then they decided to go out and get fresh. When everyone started leaving she saw that laksh just sat there. So she decided to go and talk to him.
Ragini went and sat next to him very quietly aftet she was settled she cleared her throat to get his attention. He looked up and tried to maintain a hard face after he saw who it was. But Ragini managed to see the smile that was trying to leave his lips making her smile. And her smile made Laksh smile. Now after seeing each other smiling they started laughing.
After sobering up..
Ragini : what the hell is wrong with you?
Laksh : whats wrong with me? Hainn...
Ragini : laksh don't try to act innocent. Mujhe pata hai tu kitna bada kamina hai(i know what a huge scoundrel you are) . So don't try to do that.
Laksh : but what did I do?
Ragini : oh. You don't know. Yaad nahi hai ki kaise tune mujhe ignore kiya thodi der pehle(don't you remember how you ignored me a moment ago) . How can you do that?
Laksh : just like you did.
Ragini : when did i ignore you? Laksh.....
Laksh : when you came to college. Didn't you ignore me as if you didn't see me.
Ragini : laksh, i had to.
Laksh : what do you mean by you had to?
Ragini : kavya was there.
Laksh : so?.
Ragini : so?! Laksh don't you know how badly your girlfriend hates me? How badly? Just seeing you talking to me makes her blood boil. And I didn't want to cause problems between you two. So i thought I'll talk to you once we get to the class but then you ignored me.
Laksh : i was upset..
Ragini : so you decided to make me upset too.?
Laksh : no never. I just didn't know what i was doing. I am sorry.
Ragini : you really hurt me today Laksh.
Laksh : sorry.
Ragini : you'll know how i felt once i stop talking to you....
Laksh : aeeee. Never think of doing that. Do you understand me?
Ragini : even the thought is scary na? I went through that...
Laksh (now gave her a side hug) : i am so sorry bachha.
Laksh : i am really sorry bachha.
Ragini (smilingly) : its okay.
