Laksh gave a soft laugh and turned to look at ragini who was busy devouring the given food.
Laksh : bachha, how much hungry are you?
Ragini : as much as humanly possible.
Laksh (narrowing his eyes) : when was the last time you ate?
Ragini : oh, i ate right before you found me on the bench.
Laksh : of course. (looking back at his friends) guys you can continue your talk with her tomorrow but right now she is going to sleep.
Ragini : where will i sleep.
Laksh : with sia, okay?
Ragini : okay.
After ragini was done eating, Laksh helped her clean up and get ready for bed. He left her near the door of sias bedroom as ragini requested him to so that sias sleep is not disturbed.
Laksh went back to his room and was laying in bed thinking about everything that happened in past one hour. God his life took a turn of 360 and for really good measures. He was about to sleep when he heard a knock on his door..
Laksh : who it must be at this time?
He thought as he went to open the door and was confused to see a sheepish looking ragini there.
Laksh (frowning) : what are you doing here?
Ragini : umm... Wo...... I.....
Laksh(little sternly) : stop stuttering bachha. And just say it.
Ragini : actually..... Iwantedtocuddlesomeonesoicansleeppeacefully.
Laksh : since when did you start speaking my language?
Ragini looked at him confused and laughed as she realized that she was speaking gibberish just like he used to when he was nervous.
Ragini :I wanted to cuddle someone so i can sleep peacefully.
Ragini said with her eyes closed as she was embarrassed and also because she didn't know how he would react. And his reaction made her more embarrass.
Laksh : what?!!! (screaming on top of his lungs: its a wonder that he didn't wake everyone up)
Ragini (trying to act casual even if it was damn hard) : what?
Laksh : you want to cuddle with me?
Ragini : its more like snuggle but ya(she finished by shrugging her shoulders)
Laksh : ya. But with me?
Ragini : actually you know what....
Laksh : what?
Ragini : since you are so hellbent on making me embarrass about my request so..
Laksh (frowning and getting relieved as he thought she will leave and sleep by herself) : so?
Ragini : so I'll just go snuggle Ryan and i am pretty sure he'll comply without any questions. Good night.
She was about to leave when she felt a hand on her waist and a sudden pull which made her to land directly land on a well built chest
Ragini smiled inwardly thinking "hit them where it hurts" just the reaction she wanted. She then felt his hot breath against her ear and he whispered "you are only snuggling with me, so get inside" saying so he left her to go on the bed while ragini silently followed him.
They both were laying in bed facing each other. Both were just looking at each other and not saying anything but then laksh initiated the conversation..
Laksh : i thought that I lost you.. (whispering)
Ragini (smilingly amd caressing his Jawline) : i told you that I'll keep in touch even after i get married, right?
Laksh : ya, but things changed so much between us.
Ragini : i know. But nothing can bring us apart laksh. So don't worry. I am here, right?
Laksh :stay....
Ragini : i am staying...?
She said confused as she did not know what he meant.
Laksh : i mean... I... I....(he said making ragini smile) Stay with us. (her smile disappeared as laksh changed his statement)
Ragini : won't sia and ryan mind?
Laksh : they won't. Trust me. They know how much you mean to me and besides if they have any problem I'll stand up for you.
Ragini : no. Don't fight with your friends for me..
Laksh : you will always come first. And besides i have let you go once. Not again.
He said with teary eyes
Ragini moved closer to him and kept his hand on her waist. She wiped his tears and slowly hugged him.
Ragini : i dont think i could have walked away from you. Again.
Laksh : ah. Finally the snuggle you came for.
Ragini smiled but soon frowned and then got up with so much force that her head hit lakshs chin hard.
Laksh : oww.. Ragu...
He was about to shout at her but stopped seeing her worried reaction.
He grabbed her elbow and made her face him.
Laksh : bachha, what happened?
Ragini : shit laksh. I forgot to talk to my parents after reaching here. They would be so worried..
Laksh : then call them now.
Ragini : you know my mumma. She will probably kill me with her words if she can. Ugh..
Laksh : yeah she would. But thankfully she cannot. So call her now.
Ragini (chuckling) :you are right.
She picked up her phone and got angry seeing the phone dead.
She threw it hard on the bed with an "argh".
Laksh (chuckles seeing her angry reaction) : here take my cell to call them.
Ragini : nooooo
Laksh (frowns) : why?
Ragini : first i already forgot to call them. And now if i call them from your cell they will probably kill me knowing that i am with you. Forget about killing, they will call me back and my dream will be left incomplete.
Laksh : but we met with coincidence and besides they should be happy that you found a known face in an unknown country.
Ragini : they would have been happy if it was someone else. And do you really think that they will believe me when i tell them that i met you with coincidence.?
Laksh : yea? Coincidence happens with anyone..
Ragini : laksh. You. Know. My. Parents. Do you think they will believe me if i say that i landed on your doorstep just on the first day by coincidence? Do. You?
Laksh : now that i think of it. They won't. By the way, What problem do your parents have from me?
Ragini (chuckling sadly) : laksh its not you in particular. Its just whole male species. They don't trust boys when it comes to their only daughter. And besides they know you from college and they wont like it that i am staying with you. They may think that something is going on. You know. So chill.
Laksh : ya. I know your parents and they may think that. Your dadi will definitely though.
