Laksh : ya. I know your parents and they may think that. Your dadi will definitely though.
Ragini : ya, she will. She is basically the only thing or i might say the only person stopping me from living my dream. And thank God I am away from her and i can finally live my life the way I want. (hashhhh)
Laksh: i am so happy for you bachha.
Ragini : me too.... Hey.
Laksh : what
Ragini : i can call from sias phone right? Oh no i cannot. How can i? She is sleeping and i cannot take her cell without her permission. But wait laksh can, right? Of course he can they are best friends.
Laksh was busy looking at the drama queen standing in front him who was actually busy talking to herself. Who was answering her own questions. He shook his head chuckling and thought "somethings never change".
Flashback :
Laksh was simply sitting in his classroom trying to get some rest before the practicals began. He has his eyes closed and was listening to the music when someone came and ripped the earphone away.
Laksh turned to looked at the person who did this with a blank expression on his face. As he already knew that there was only one person actually capable of messing with him and its none other than his best friend. When he looked at ragini, she had a mischievous smile and a naughty glint in her eyes which of course made laksh to match her expression. They both were now grinning like stupids.
Suddenly
Laksh : why are you late?
Ragini : why am I late? I have wasted most of my time looking for your stupid face in the whole college. And when i call you, you don't pick up and neither do you have the common courtesy to call back. Why didn't you call back?! Wait... Right because you don't have the talk time. You already informed me. And Why are you sitting alone here? And not with your friends... Oh. Right of course you were waiting for me. And here i am getting angry on you.
Laksh looked at his best friend with awe as only she was capable of carrying these many emotions together.
He again looked at her and noticed that she was still having an interesting conversation with herself.
Laksh : bachha.... Bachha(he called again slightly louder than the last time as she did not hear him the first time.)
Ragini : huh. Hm. Yea(sheepishly as she realized exactly what she was doing)
Laksh (smilingly): you just wait here i will go and bring sias cell, okay?
Ragini nodded with a small smile.
Laksh : and one more thing while i am gone try not to eat your own head off. I mean you are an interesting personality to hang with but i don't think your brain thinks so.
And he ran away laughing after saying this as he realized that ragini was about to throw alarm clock on him.
Ragini supported her back on the headboard and sat there thanking god.
"Thank you God for bringing him into my life back and the moment when i needed him the most, when i needed a shoulder the most. I am thankful for Karan God but no one take his place. I finally feel at peace. I will finally get the justice i deserve. So thank you. I.. "
She came back from her thoughts as she saw her best friend make his way back to the room with sias cell in his hand.
Laksh : here, call your parents.
He said handing her the cell.
Ragini smiled and took it slowly, she dialled her mother's number and consciously connected the call before keeping it at her ears.
Laksh moved a little away as he thought about giving her some privacy but stopped when he felt a hand holding his lower arm he turned to look at ragini and frowned after seeing her worried face.
Laksh(whispering) : what is it?
Ragini(matching his tone with a sad smile) : stay here.
Laksh nodded meekly and sat down besides her. Ragini looked at him before keeping the phone on loudspeaker making laksh more confuse.

Voice: hello
Ragini : he.... Hello... Hello mama
Sumi: ragini, where are you? How are you? Why haven't you called me yet? Whats going on.?
Ragini : mama, mama calm down. My phones battery was dead so i am calling you from a friends phone. Okay.
Voice : ragini!!!!
The voice yelled on the phone making both of them shriek.
Ragini : pap... Papa...
Laksh looked at her with questioning face while she had a scared face.
Shekhar : how dare you?
Ragini : papa...
Shekhar : how dare you run away like that from your own wedding.?
Laksh looked at her while she gave him a sheepish and yet sad smile.
They heard her mothers voice trying to calm her father down.
Ragini : papa...
Shekhar : no don't papa me? How can you humiliate me, disgrace me in front of the guests.
Now ragini was angry that he was still worried about himself
Ragini : papa stop
Shekhar : no i wont.. You listen to me..
Ragini : papa please stop(almost begging and whispering)
Papa: how dare you ask me to stop when you have done nothing but bring shame
Ragini : enough (loudly)
Sumi: ragini calm down.
Ragini : no mama. I can't now, actually i wont now.
Shekhar : you dis....
Ragini (loud voice) : stop papa before i say something that I'll regret.
By this time sia and ryan have entered into the room.
Sia was already awake as she was thirsty but then saw her phone was missing so she started looking for her phone and she thought Ryan stole it so she was yelling at Ryan when they heard raginis voice saying "enough" so they both rushed here.
Ragini : papa,!! what did you expect me to do? Huh? What? I was a business deal to you (the trio looked at her confused) you were selling me to that jerk even after I told you about what he tried to do with me.
Now the trio were angry at shekhar specially laksh.
Ragini : did you expect me to be sold just because you wished.
Shekhar : i was not selling you ragu. I was just being a father.
Ragini : no you were not. You clearly did not care about my happiness, my dignity. You were just getting me married to him because they were giving a huge deal to our business. And i was the price you paid or tried to pay for that deal.
