"Will you chill with me at the library after classes, like keeping each other company... studying you know... stuffs!?" Andy asked typing his number over Dorothy's phone.

"I will think about it." Dorothy gave a small smile taking her phone from his hand.

"Jus' say Yes Brown, please..!" Andy grieved, those pale blue orbs of his.

To her friends, she is Doe. Terry calls her Brownies but to her Schoolmates she is Brown.

Dorothy Brown.

"Maybe." Dorothy flipped her hair looking back at Terry who stood with his friends few meters from them stole glances at her.

"Please Brown." Andy pouted his blonde hair sway slightly at his forehead.

A smile of satisfaction tugged on Dorothy lips witnessing Terry lost concentration to whatever his friends were talking about.

"We'll talk about it." Dorothy shortened her speech typing over her phone.

A bird chirp from Andy's phone, he sneak at it and beamed "Oh, we will definitely talk about it." He walked away after a small wave.

"Jumping to another pant!?" Scarlet bumps Dorothy's shoulder to catch her attention.

"Scars" Dorothy warned.

Grace and Charity emerge from the girl's bathroom shortly after Scarlet.

"Our little Doe got another boy toy." Scarlet sneered.

Grace gave Scarlet a warning look to her choice of words "sorry." Scarlet mouthed

"Who!? Who!?" Charity asked eagerly went to cling to Dorothy side.

"A slight doppelganger of Terry." Scarlet smugly smiled.

"Andy Henry!?" Grace and Charity exclaimed at the same time.

"Bingo." Scarlet nodded.

"He is just a friend.... and... and... he is nice, right Grace.?" Dorothy throw it at the quiet girl who lost in her thoughts.

"He is a nice guy." Grace said.

Dorothy with a toothy smile "See, just a nice guy."

"If you say so Princess, let's go and find a table." Scarlet winked at Dorothy and dragged Charity with her who resist as she was about to say something about the conversation they were having.

"Do you want to talk about morning incident!?" Grace asked with concern.

"We broke up yesterday."  Dorothy stood Infront of her Friends giving her back at the couple.

Her heart was bleeding at the sight of Terry with another girl who is not her, same girl she saw him with her at Chelsea's birthday party last week.

" Am sorry Doe." Grace face drop sadly.

"Am fine." She shrugged.

"Do you want us to beat him!?" Charity shot daggers at the blonde boy.

"No." Dorothy rushed.

"What did you do!?" Scarlet questioned

"Scars." Charity warned pinching her arms.

"What!? The girl gotta ask." She eyed Dorothy suspiciously throwing her hands in annoyance.

"Why do you think it is my fault!?" Dorothy face heated with anger.

"The poor guy whines always to me that you push him away, no affections no boyfriend treatment, nothing." Scarlet scolded

"Why didn't you tell Doe when Terry came to you!?" Charity asked.

"Thanks Cherry, seriously Scars? Behind my back with my boyfriend?" Dorothy pushed Scarlet.

The whole time Grace remained quiet unable to add anything because her advice won't taken to consideration, she never date and the girls won't listen to her about the matter on the hand.

"Ex-boyfriend! And he came to me on his own to seek advice on how to convince you to consider his needs." Scarlet pushed back.

"Guys, please let's talk about this peacefully." Grace tried to pull Dorothy away as Charity do to Scarlet.

"You failed to keep your man, don't blame me." Scarlet rolled her eyes.

"Scarlet Sebastian, nothing can keep a man. Not sex, not money, not affections. The only thing that can keep a man is the man that wants to be kept. And he is not my man because we are not married yet." She yelled at the end.

"Girls please, we are friends remember!?" Grace begged locking eyes at them.

"Tell that to the green eyed girl because friends don't stab each other at the back." Dorothy threw a dirty look at Scarlet.

Guilty written over her face, she scoffed "It is not my fault, it's your stupid ex."

Dorothy shudders at the thought of morning squabble and shook her head.

"Are you trying to make Terry jealous?" Grace asked her.

"Um... no." Dorothy scoffed avoiding her eyes.

"Doe..." Grace trailed off grabbing Dorothy hands.

Few students passed by gaze uninterested at their direction and continue with their walk, most of them to the cafeteria.

"Are you trying to hurt Terry back?" Grace approached to another angle.

"Not hurting him, just showing him that am enough and I can make friends too like cool boys." Dorothy bite her inner lower lip.

"The best revenge is to be unlike him, Doe." Grace voiced softly her concern.

"It wasn't a revenge." Dorothy chuckled nervously.

"Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Romans 12:17, that's what it's written in Bible."

"Grace, am not trying to repay anything." Objected Dorothy

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends but leave room for GOD'S wrath, for it is written "It is mine to avenge; I will repay." Says the Lord. Romans 12:18-19" Grace tried to convince her friend who pushing back tears.

"But GOD won't avenge the way I want." Dorothy swallowed her tears blinking away.

"It hurts, why he did that to me? He didn't pretend to be affected at our break-up and he jumped to another girl." Dorothy added biting her inner cheek fighting a sob which threatens hard to escape her throat.

"I know Doe and am sorry, but GOD'S revenge is always the best, trust him and he'll bring you peace concerning this." Grace assured Dorothy wrapping her arms around her and Dorothy hugged her back.

"Dorothy." A familiar soft soothing yet deep, rich and warm boy's voice heard at Dorothy's back.

Dorothy eyes widened and she knew the voice.

"I think the girls might be at our table, let's go." She pulled away, linking her hand with Grace's and walked to the Cafeteria.

"I think Daniel was calling you." Grace stated looking behind and throw apologetic smile at the boy who rooted at their previous spot.

"Really? I didn't hear anything." Dorothy feign ignorance dragging her friend nervously escaping from the boy.
