The next morning May is woken up by Sidhean, who is getting ready to leave. He is packing his things away, when he sees May looking over.
"Good morning, sleepyhead", he smiles at her.
She sits up and looks outside. The sun is shining and it looks like it is going to be a really hot day.
"Where is Gyles?" she turns to Sidhean again.
"You're not starting to like him more than me, are you?" Sidhean laughs.
May gets up and walks towards him.
"No, of course not. How could you think like that?" she smiles at him and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Ah, good morning, May. Now that everyone's up, we can get going", Gyles comes into the cave, picking up his bag.
May and Sidhean quickly grab their things and follow.
"So, where was it exactly, you wanted to go to?" Gyles interrupts the silence, while cutting his way through some bushes with a hand knife in his left hand, he must have gotten out of his bag, when May was not looking.
"Well, my dad left me this map. It's somewhere inside..." May starts, when she is interrupted by Gyles.
"Come on then. Let's see it!" He holds out his right hand, whilst still cutting with the left.
May quickly gets her dad's book from her bag and looks for the map. Then she hands it to him and puts the book away again.
"This is the place you want to go to?" Gyles says, after studying the map for a few minutes.
"Yes, is there a problem with that?" Sidhean asks, glancing at May, who seems to be as confused about Gyles question as he is.
"Well, I never thought this place existed. It's supposed to be a myth. A lot of people have claimed to have seen it, but if you ask them, where the place is, they can't remember. Up until now I haven't even seen a map that shows the place before." Gyles explains, turning the map in different directions, to make sure he is not imagining it.
"Do you know where to find it though?" May asks him.
"Of course I do. According to this map here, it's only a few miles away from here. I think we'll reach it at around noon, if nothing gets into our way." Gyles answers, finally freeing them from the bushes, where they then land on a field.
There are no houses in sight, as far as the eye can see.
"We'll have to go straight on. Right across the field", Gyles announces.
So, they head of across the field. About what feels like hours later, they reach the end of the field, where another forest starts.
"We are almost there now." Gyles tells them, panting quite loudly.
"I think we need to take a break first", Sidhean states.
May is just about to say something, but realises quickly, that Gyles does need a break, if he is to continue the journey with them. So, they decide to take a few minutes time to rest, before they carry on with their journey.
