After I got into the pod I raced off, everyone, including Quill and Rocket thought that Gamora had the orb. I knew that this plan was going to work.

"Rocket, keep them off of Gamora until she gets to the Milano." Quill said.

Perfect.

"How? We've got no weaponry on these things." Rocket said.

"These pods are industrial grade, they're nearly indestructible." Quill said.

"Not against necroblasts, they're not."

"That's not what I'm saying."

"Oh!" Rocket said as he smashed his pod into the other ships.

"Fools! Did you really think I wouldn't notice that Gamora does not have the orb!" Nebula yelled.

"She doesn't! Then who does have the orb!" Rocket yelled.

"Me!" I spoke as more ships closed me in.

"Quill, I'm trapped! I can't make it to the Milano, I have to head out." I said as I started to fly out of Knowhere.

"What? Wait! These things aren't meant to go out there." Quill said as I flew out, with Nebula on my tail.

"Your a disappointment to your people Kiana." Nebula spoke.

"Nebula, please, you are my friend and I know you do not want to do this. Listen to me please, if Ronan gets this stone he'll kill us all." I said as I tried to convince her.

"Not all. You will already be dead." Nebula said as she shot at my ship. And everything went dark.

~ Peter's p.o.v ~

Gamroa, Rocket and I pulled up just in time to see Kianamina's body floating through space, while Nebula took the orb and flew off. Her perfect white skin freezing.

"Quill, come on. Her body mods should keep her alive a couple more minutes, but there's nothing we can do for her. These pods aren't meant to be out here. In a second, we're gonna be in the same boat." Rocket says as he turns his pod.

"He's right Peter, I'm sorry, but we can't help her." Gamora said sadly.

But I knew that I couldn't leave her out there. Watching her float out there hurt me in some weird way.

"Aw, damn it!" I said.

"Quill?"

"Yondu! Youndu! This is Quill! My coordinates are 227K324."

"Quill? Quill, what are you doing?" Gamora asked.

"Just outside Knowhere. If you're there, come get me. I'm all yours." I said all I got out of the pod and flew over to Kianamina.

"Quill, don't be ridiculous. Get back into your pod! You can't fit two people in there, you're gonna die." Rocket said, but I didn't care what he said. I grabbed Kianamina's body and pulled her close to me. I then took off my mask and placed it on the side of her head and pressed the button. The mask formed over her face, I then heard her slightly breathing and I was happy. Yondu's ship then came into view. They then brought the two of us in.

~ Kiana's p.o.v ~

I gasped for air, realizing that I wasn't floating in space anymore. I then took off the mask on my face and saw Quill on top of me, and holding me close.

"Quill? What happened?" I breathed out.

"I saw you out there. I don't know what came over me, but I couldn't let you die. I found something inside myself. Something incredibly heroic. I mean, not to brag, but objectively..."

I sighed in frustration as he ruined the moment.

"Where is the orb?" I asked.

"It's...well, they got the orb." Quill said.

"What?" I shouted.

Just then the doors opened and a bunch of Ravagers came in.

"Welcome home, Quill." A Ravager said.

I was then pulled off of Quill and two Ravagers held my arms to restrain me. While a blue man who i guessed was Yondu grabbed Quill, two other Ravagers held Quill's arms while Yondu punched Quill.

"You betrayed me! Steal my money!"

"Stop it! Leave him alone!" I yelled as I struggled against the Ravagers.

"When I picked you up as a kid, these boys wanted to eat you. They ain't ever tasted Terran before. I saved your life!" Yondu said.

"Oh, will you shut up about that? God! Twenty years, you've been throwing that in my face, like it's some great thing, not eating me! Normal people don't even think about eating someone else! Much less that person having to be grateful for it! You abducted me, man. You stole me from my home and from my family." Quill said as I looked at him sadly.

"You don't give a damn about your Terra! You're scared because you're soft, in here." Yondu said as he pounded on Quill's chest.

"Here! Right here!" He said as he hit Quill again.

"Yondu! Listen to me! Ronan has something called an infinity stone." I said as I tried to reason with him.

"I know what he's got, girl "

"Then you know we must get it back! He's gonna use it to wipe out Xandar. We have to warn them. Billions of people will perish." I cried out.

Yondu then turns back to Quill.

"Is that what she's been filling your head with, boy? Sentiment!" Quill yelled as he slapped Quill again.

"Eating your brain away like maggots! That's it." Yondu said as he whistled commanding a arrow to come out and aim for Quill's throat.

"No!" I yelled as I struggled some more.

"Sorry, boy. But a captain's gotta teach his men what happens to those who cross him."

"Captain's gotta teach stuff!" A Ravager repeated.

"If you kill me now, you are saying goodbye to the biggest score you have ever seen." Quill said.

"The stone? I hope you got something better than that. Because ain't nobody stealing from Ronan." Yondu said.

"We got a ringer." Quill said.

"Is that right?"

"She's back on Knowhere. She knows everything there is to know about Ronan. His ships, his amry."

"He is vulnerable." I finished.

"Hey, what do you say, Yondu, huh? Me and you, taking down a mark side-by-side, like the old days."

Yondu thinks for a moment before laughing while other Ravagers joined in, and the arrow removes itself from Quill's throat.

"Let him go! Oh! You always did have a scrote, boy! That's why I kept you on as a young'un."

Just then the ship shakes.

"Captain, the shot was non-damaging."

We then see the Milano appear in front of us.

"Attention, idiots. The lunatic on top of this craft is holding a Hard on enforcer. It's a weapon of my own design." Rocket said.

"What the hell?" Yondu said.

"If you don't hand over our companions now, he's gonna tear your ship a new one. A very big new one!"

"I ain't buyin' it." Yondu said.

"I'm giving you to to hear he count of five. Five, four, three..."

Quill and I push our way up front, while Quill pushes the button.

"No!" Quill yelled.

"No! No! Don't!" I yelled.

"No! Wait, hold on! Rocket, it's me, for god sakes! We figured it out! We're fine!" Quill said.

"Oh, hey, Quill. What's going on?" Rocket said.
