Waking up this particular morning had to be one of the hardest for me. For it was the day of the party that my brother would be throwing for my 'return' and for the Guardians saving Xandar. I rubbed my tired eyes and swung my feet out of bed. I quickly got dressed and joined the rest of my friends enjoying our day before being sent to get ready. I waited in my room, Irima knocked on the door before pushing it open and walking in.
"Are you ready, Kiana?"
"No."
She let out a little laugh before she pulled out the dress that I would be wearing.
"What'd you think?"
I looked the dress up and down before coming to a conclusion.
"It is......hedious."
Irima's eye brows twitched as she frowned.
"Oh, quit being so stubborn and put it on."
I sighed as I took the dress out of her grasp, I walked into the bathroom and carefully slipped the dress on. I haven't worn one since my hoke world was destroyed. I sipped it up and looked at myself within the mirror. The dress hugged my waist perfectly, before it fell down like waved to the floor. The sleeves were off my shoulders, leaving alot of my skin exposed. Like I always did when I was self councious, I rubbed my hands up and down my white arms, looking at the black lines that ran down it, similar to the ones that adore my white face. I sighed before picking up the front of my dress and walding out.
"You look amazing!" Irima cooed as she walked over and handed me a pair of black heels.
"I refuse to wear shoes, such as those."
"Come on, it will only be for one night."
I sighed once more before taking them and slipping them onto my feet. Irima smiled as she looked me up and down.
"Okay, now for the hair and make up."
My eyes widened.
"No make up, at all, but hair is an exception."
She only sighed as she sat me down and took my white locks in her hands, she ran a brush through it and let it down, she then slightly curled my white hair and let it rest upon my shoulders. Once she had finished I stood up and looked at my self within the mirror.
"I did good, you look wonderful Kiana."
"Thank you, Irima."
She smiled as she led me out of the room and towards the party room.

We were all at the party now, waiting for Kiana to show up. Everyone were wearing fancy clothes, well everyone except us. We all refused to change, but it seems like Kiana doesn't get much of a choice. So we wait till she comes out.
"I hate this." Rocket states.
"I'm with you there." I said.
"Bunch of rich jerks gathered in one room, I say we take 'em all out."
"No one will be killing anyone."
"Gotta ruin all the fun don't ya."
I sighed as I looked around only to see a certain blue eyes jerk walk over.
"Hey guys."
We said nothing as he walked over with a blue suit on.
"Pretty packed isn't it?"
"Yeah." I replied.
He kept on talking, but we all ignored him, keeping our eyes out for Kiana.
"Excuse me."
Everyone stopped talking and looked up to see Kiana's brother and his wife standing up.
"Most of you are here to celebrate the Guardians of the Galaxy, for riding Ronan from this galaxy once and for all, so let's give them a hand and our welcome."
The whole room burst into whistling and clapping, before it settled down.
"But a great number of you are here for my sisters reunion, I lost her years ago, and here she is, she's finally returned to her home, welcome Princess Kianamina."
The doors pushed open and my jaw dropped a little, I think that all of us were shocked, we couldn't even believe that, that was Kiana, the dress she wore was amazing on her white skin, for once her hair was down and curled, a silver crown was placed upon her head. As she walked she held her hands out to balance herself and waldeled over to us, a frown placed on her face as people crowed her and shook her hand.
"Wow, she looks amazing." Strato said as he set his cup of champagne down.
"I'm gonna go talk to her, you guys enjoy the party."
I frowned as I watched him push his way through the crowd and over to Kiana.
"Just say the word, and I'll blow his pretty head off." Rocket said.
"Rocket." Gamora said.
Drax placed his hand on my shoulder.
"You Quill, are pathetic, letting a Xandarian take what is yours."
"Thanks man, real nice of you."
I sighed agian and we all sat down at a tabel and watched as everyone danced.

I growled as random people crowded me, shaking my hand and welcoming me 'home'. I then felt a hand grab my wrist and pull me against their body. I looked up to see Strato, who smiled down at me.
"You look beautiful." He spoke as we swayed back and forth, and all I could do was let out a soft laugh.
"I look ridiculous."
He let out a laugh as he guided me across the room.
"Well, I still think you look lovely."
We said nothing as we coutinued to dance to the soft music.
"When will you do the job?" He asked suddenly.
I said nothing as I looked down, I sighed as I lifted my head up and stared into his blue eyes.
"I......What if I decide not to."
"He's and bad king, a bad person, why wouldn't you do it?"
"Because he is my brother, all I have left, Alkima and I had a little chat yesterday, and I might listen to her words and give Kino a chance."
He let out a low growl, which startled me.
"He abandoned you." He said as he raised his voice a little, clutching my hand tighter, causing me to wince in pain.
"He can be forgiven."
This only made him more mad. He bent down, until his lips were close to me ear.
"Just remember the consciousness to your actions, princess."
My eyes widened as he let go and walked away. I picked up the front of my dress and made my way through the crowd to see a familer group of misfits sitting down, I let out a sigh of relief as I walked over to them. They all looked up and smiled once they saw me. But it faltered once they say expression of fear placed upon my face.
"What happend?" Gamora asked. I placed my hands onto the table and shook my head.
"I should've known." I growled.
"What's in your head?" Rocket asked.
"Strato." I growled, while Quill sighed.
"What about him."
I sighed as I took the silver crown off and tossed it to the floor.
"He's not who he says he is, he was mad when I told him that I called off the job."
"Why would be be mad?" Quill asked.
"Maybe he wants to be king instead."
"Ha! I knew he was no good, I told you so!" Quill said in victory as we a dull shook our heads at him.
"We must go, come on." I said as I urged them to move, they all stood up and we made our way for the door, but before that could happen, a bright light shined upon me. I squinted my eyes as I held my arm above me head.
"Kiana! We're you going?"
I said nothing as my brother made his way over to me, smiling.
"You can't leave so early, this is your party!"
Behind him I could see Strato smiling. I glared at him. Kino got closer to me and leaned down to whisper in my ear.
"You think you can just leave."
"Yes."
He laughed as he snapped his fingers, guards then surrounded my friends.
"You were never fit for queen." He hissed as he pulled out a sword, everyone gasped, and I looked behind me to see that my friends eyes were wide. He laughed as he brought his sword down.
Clank
I stood there smiling as my staff pushed his sword out of his hand. I spun it around my fingers as I held it out in front of me. This gave the okay signal for the Guardians to attack the guards.
"And you are not fit for King, brother."
He growled as he pulled out antoher sword, and we fought, he never let me touch him once, which was strange to me. The rest of the Guardians finished with the guards and were now by my side. I spun my staff and knocked Kino down. His face was full of fear as he held his hands out.
"Your reign is over, brother."
Kino looked at me, before chuckling to himself, I frowned as I pointed my staff closer.
"It was good to see you again, little sister."
I furrowed my brows in confusion. All of the sudden his body glowed a bright gold. He slowly started to fad away. My eyes widened as I lowered my staff and watched as my brother turned into dust before my very eyes.
"No." I whispered as my staff dropped to the floor.
"Kino."
My eyes started to fill with tears, but I refused to let them fall. I looked up to see Strato walking over with a grin on his face.
"Did you actually think that your brother was alive?"
I growled as I looked up at him, clenching my fist.
"What you saw, was only a mirror image of what was left of your brother, all I needed for you guys to do, was simply over throw your fake brother from the thrown so I could take over. But....but you had to go and make it so difficult."
"Your disgusting." I sneered.
"But I'm not, the only one who is, is you, for all the murder and crimes you've all comited, and you think that becoming a hero will change all of that. Your all nothing but freaks, it's all you've every been, and it's all you'll ever be."
He snapped his fingers and more guards surrounded us.
"I told you Kiana, your actions have consic-"
My eyes widened as I saw a sword through his stomach. He coughed out blood, the sword was pulled out and he fell to the floor, I looked up to see who had killed him, only to see Alkima, tears were running down her violet skin as she threw the sword aside. Her bright pink dress stained in Strato's blood. She looked at the guards and they backed away.
"The party is over, leave." She spoke sternly as everyone left quickly. Once they did. She looked up at me. All of the sudden she lept foreward and hugged me. My eyes widened as I stumbled back a little.
"I was in love with an illusion." She cried out. My eyes softened as I placed my hands of her back and let her cry into my shoulder. She brought be down onto the floor with her and nd cried into my chest. My hands went up, not knowing were to put them, I looked over at my friends to see what to do, but they only smiled, which caused me to frown, I sighed as placed one of my hands on her head.
"Thank you." She whsipered.
"Thank you." She cried as we coutinued to sit upon the floor, holding her as she cried her eyed out. A single tear rolled down my cheek as I smiled and looked up at the sky, knowing that my family was smiling too.

"Thank you again Guardians." Alkima said as she walked us over to the Milano, with Irima by her side.
"You are welcome." I spoke.
Everyone boarded the ship, leaving me alone with Alkima and Irima.
"Come back whenever you please." Alkima said.
"And never forget us, too." Irima said as I let out a soft laugh.
"I would never dream of it."
"Wrap it up, Kiana!" Quill yelled as I sighed.
I then hugged both Alkima and Irima.
"I will miss you two."
I pulled away and walked into the ship, waving at the two as we drove off into the galaxy. I sighed as I walked over to Quill, who sat in the piolet seat. No one said anythibg, knowing that I wished not to talk about last night's event. I placed my hand upon Quill's shoulder. He looked up at me.
"Thank you."
They all smiled and nodded their heads.
"Let's get this show on the role a-holes."
