the four little kids entered the silent room that consisted of teenagers ages fourteen through seventeen. they were either on their phone to kill time or doing their homework. once hoseok entered the room, he was scared that the older kids were going to start bullying him but they never did. they didn't even glance at the boy.

all the teenagers could care less about a simple boy that cried the day that he was brought into the foster facility. the only ones that really cared was the kids of the same age as hoseok.

yoongi glanced everywhere for a spot that they could sit on. once he found empty seats away from the other students, he dragged hoseok with him. he sat down on his own seat and watched hoseok carefully sit down.

"hoseok, i'm glad i finally met you!" yoongi whisper yelled at hoseok. hoseok giggled while he touched his finger tips in nervousness.

"hoseok, why did you come here in the first place?" jimin asked from his own seat.

"my mama said we were going to pick up a new family member. i dressed up so well for him but now i'm a mess," hoseok whined. yoongi couldn't help but to smile at his precious voice.

"you do know that your 'mama' isn't your forever mom, right. you're gonna get adopted soon," jimin replied. hoseok only frowned at the thought of losing his only mother he's known since birth.

"but i'll never get adopted! no one wants me! i'm annoying," hoseok pouted. he was on the verge of tears once more. yoongi frowned with him, he knew that the words the kids were saying to him was starting to affect him.

"you're not annoying, hoseok. you're amazing and beautiful," yoongi reassured the younger boy. yoongi could see the disagreement in the others eyes and felt defeat.

"jungsook called me ugly! she's so mean!" hoseok complained. "she said i'm not worth it and that i don't deserve good things."

hoseok was in that state of mind again. it happened all the time at home. he would degrade himself and call himself names. it was normal now.

"i don't deserve to be here," hoseok whispered. yoongi got off his seat and hugged the other. he didn't like hearing those things. why was this happening to him? yesterday he was complaining about wanting to go home but now he's hugging a broken boy. he held him in his arms so long that his little arms started going numb. he could see jimin and jungkook's smile from afar and felt happy. he never got to love someone as much as the boy in his arms.

"yoongi, it's time to go," a lady called out. yoongi looked up and saw that it was the same lady from the day before. she looked excited to tell yoongi something.

at first she was worried that yoongi would be like the other kids and hate on hoseok once they got home but once she saw the two hugging, she knew that he had nothing to worry about.

"yoongi, hoseok, come with me."

hoseok and yoongi were taken to a room. that room had the same lady from before and taehyung. the female that called the kids over sat down behind the brown desk.

"yoongi, you have already said that you wanted to be placed in a foster family. since we only have a couple foster parents, you're assigning you in this small family. your new two temporary brothers and mother," the female said. she wrote stuff on her clipboard and once she was done writing, she looked up.

hoseok and yoongi were still confused.

the lady just smiled and explained, "hoseok and taehyung will be your new temporary brothers, yoongi. you'll live with them from now on until you get a loving family."

yoongi gasped and looked at his new mother. she was pretty, not like his biological mother. she didn't wear loads of makeup and his new mother at least wore decent clothing.

hoseok hugged yoongi tightly. his arms were wrapped around yoongi's shoulders and his chin rested on the crook of yoongi's neck. hoseok smiled as his tears rolled down his face. he didn't know why he was crying. maybe it was because his life changed at that moment. he finally met someone who didn't hate him.

hoseok never wanted to let go. he didn't want to lose him.
