EARTH: November 3, 2120

Sitting at my old workstation, I look out the window of my office at the buildings decrepit by years of pollution. The sky is getting darker and darker, taking on a hue close to the end of the world. All outside life seems to have disappeared and even the birds, which I enjoyed watching fluttering in the Minwook sky, have long since stopped flying. I imagine they are all dead now, like the majority of the rest of humanity. The air has become unbreathable in the past few days. Today marks ten years since the last disaster and living conditions have gotten worse. Now we have no choice. We have to leave, abandoning thousands of human beings to their sad fate. I try not to think about it.

EARTH: Year 3120

Life has slowly rebuilt itself, refusing to disappear forever in the meanders of infinity. The few men who survived have invented a new destiny for themselves, building on the oceans, the only places still habitable after the catastrophe, sites providing everything necessary for their survival. Then, over time, villages have reappeared on parts of the land that have become viable again. From now on, young workers are responsible for making this whole thing work and must obey strict rules issued by the power committee that controls every single gesture of the population. Everything seems to be going smoothly, with the people accepting without protest the codes issued by their new government. But as everyone knows, rules are just waiting to be broken! And Fossea will not escape her destiny.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Lona and this story is the first one I publish on Wattpad.

You will get to know a world that I created through my imagination and which takes place in the year 3000. I invented a whole new universe based on scientific references that I was able to discover throughout my readings. Don't worry, all the scientific terms are explained as I go along and remain largely accessible, even to those who are allergic to this universe 😊. Afterwards, it's just a novel where you can meet characters that are close to my heart and who, I hope, will touch you.
