Frosted Flurry's POV

For some reason, I quite regret choosing this job, having to travel from Misty to Agency takes a while and costs a lot, I can't afford a house so I live in a friend's house, I can't get to a higher position in the business. Taxes are way too high for my own good, but I try my best to keep it maintained. What's worse is, Midas... The man himself, the person who has the touch of gold, people who cause trouble will turn to gold, he offers no mercy to people who have wronged him. But, for some reason, when I make mistakes, he pats my head and gives me a reassuring smile, I can't help but think, why is he becoming so nice to me? What's so special about me? Maybe he noticed I have powers? B-But, that's impossible, my powers are revealed during Winter and it's almost Summer....

I sigh, and shake those thoughts out of my head, maybe he's just using me.... Whatever, I'll just need to concentrate in my job and I'll get the money for my new house. I hear the tapping of shoes and I look up to a tall man, damn it, it's him. "Good Morning Frosty, I hope you're doing well, and taking your job seriously." I look up to him "Good Morning to you too, um... I am taking my job seriously sir, I just need to complete a few things and I'll be done." He smirks "Excellent! Keep up the work." He pats my head and walks away to another employee. I blush a bit and fix my hair again and adjust the little bow on my head and went back to work. I sigh, this may be harder than I expected if I'll catch feelings for him. I'll have to call Noggie to pick me up, I can't afford another Choppa. Too expensive. Midas called me to come and follow him, I sigh.

I slowly follow the business man to his office and I sit down on the chair. "Wh-What's wrong sir? Did I mess up?" He smiled and shook his head "I wanted to give you a ride, and I wanna talk to you about something..." Oh Sh*t, he knows. I clench my fists and gulp. "No need to be nervous, I don't wanna make you uncomfortable, it's a short talk, I promise, if it's uncomfortable, I'll stop." He smiled and I blushed. I nod slowly and he got up and brought out his hand and I hesitated but took it. He held my hand and assisted me on the Choppa and I sat and buckled the belt and looked. Why did I accept? My heart is beating fast.... I'm scared, but for some reason, I feel safe, I feel like he's not gonna do anything suspicious. He seems like a chill man, but I don't know, I feel like he possesses a secret that I myself, can't think of... He sat next to me and his Henchmen sat on the edge holding their guns. Suddenly, I just felt uncomfortable and he held his hand out "I..... To make you feel comfortable, if you want to...." I held it and looked away with a blush in my face.

"About what I said, I felt some power in you-" "Please don't tell anyone, I keep it a secret because I want to protect myself." I looked at him with tears rolling down. "S-Sorry" I wiped my tears and he gave me a sad expression. "I understand, I felt the same way with my powers, what does your power possesses?" "I can bring snow during winter, but it takes a lot of energy, so I'm always asleep during winter" I giggle and smile. He blushed and nodded. "S-Sorry for making you uncomfortable Ms. Frosted" I laugh "Why the formality? We're friends, r-right...?" He grinned and nodded. I smile and he adjusted the bow on my hair and  cupped my cheeks. "You look like someone I used to know, but she's no longer with us..." "O-Oh I'm sorry...." He shook his head "It's all my fault" W-Wait, he murdered someone? "It's not what you think, it was an... Accident, I miss her, she was the most important thing ever. My little angel." Wait, he..... had a daughter. I look away and say "I'm sorry for your loss, I hope one day she'll come back." (cuz you know, Fortnite players can't die lol, they respawn) He sighed and nodded.

After some time, we reached Misty Meadows and I got out and he gave me a bag and little box "A little something between you and me, don't tell anyone" He kissed my forehead and left. I could've sworn I saw a blush on his face, Midas, the man whom everyone is scared of, blushing?! Hah, he's not so bad.... What am I saying? He's not gonna accept me.

I knocked on the door and Noggie opened it and greeted me with a hug and a smile "Welcome back!" She said with a wide smile and I smiled back "Thank you!" I enter in and heard Noggie say "Lunch will be delivered in a few minutes." I nod to her and go to my room and shut the door, I opened the box and instantly blushed and smiled. It was a necklace with snowflakes and hearts around it. I wore it around my neck and smiled. I opened the bag and gasped, tears filling up my eyes, no way.... Wh-Why? It was full of V-bucks and a note next to it:

I wiped the tears away and smiled, he gave me all the money I needed to get myself a house and sort my life. I felt so, loved.... That's a word I haven't used in a long time after what happened with....Guild... Whatever, I'm over that a**hole. But Midas, is, different, I can tell he really cares for me. I hope one day something will spark between us and..... No, Frosty, too far....

Whatever, I'll just have to wait and see.
