Chapter 5 - Infiltration

"So let me get this straight. You overheard a conversation, a conversation which was not meant for you to overhear, and you decide without prompting, to interfere, and interfere hard, in someone else's business." Amos raised a brow.

"That's pretty much it, sir." Cedar nodded.

"Harry Potter lied to you, he has a time turner." Matteo spoke.

"Of course they do, you can move along now." Amos brushed them off.

"What? No- We're here to help." Trixie nodded.

"Help? What could a trio of teenagers do?" He questioned.

"Our uncle proved that you don't need to be grown up to change the Wizarding World." Cedar spoke

"So I should let you get involved because you're related to a Potter?' Amos questioned,"You're a Weasley, too, I can tell and I don't want anyone related to 'Her' around."

"No.." Cedar shook her head.

"Don't speak to her like that." Matteo stepped forward.

"You'll be just like her, I know it." Amos shook his head.

"Don't talk about my mother that way." Cedar pointed.

"I talk about her how I like." Amos crossed his arms,"My son was just fine before meeting her."

"What are you talking about?" Trixie asked.

"Yeah? What about me?" Matteo scoffed.

"You're probably working with him." Amos glared,"You-Know-Who.."

"Voldemort?" Trixie raised a brow.

"Don't say his name!" Amos snapped,"... Delphi, get them out."

"Uncle-" Delphi began.

"Out." Amos ordered before handing Cedar a piece of paper,"Give that to your mother."

"I can think of one reason why you should trust them, Uncle.
They're the only ones volunteering to help. They're prepared to bravely put themselves at risk to return your son to your side. In fact, I'm pretty sure they put themselves at risk even getting here." Delphi sighed.

"Yeah, we jumped off a train." Cedar told him.

"This is Cedric we're talking about.' Amos sighed.

"And, didn't you say yourself, having someone inside Hogwarts might be a massive advantage?" Delphi nodded to him.

"I... I suppose I did." Amos sighed.

"We can help you get him back." Trixie smiled.

"My son... My son was the best thing that ever happened to me and you're right, it was an injustice a gross injustice. If you're serious..." Amos teared up.

"We are, I promise." Cedar nodded slowly.

"This is going to be dangerous." Amos stated.

"We'll be careful." Cedar told him.

"Delphi, perhaps if you were prepared to accompany them?" Amos turned to his neice.

"Accompany?" Cedar raised a brow.

"It it would make you happy." Delphi smiled.

"It would probably make us safer." Matteo smirked slightly.

Trixie tapped his arm, as if to tell him off.

"You do understand even getting the Time Turner will risk your lives." Amos stated.

"Mhm." Cedar nodded.

"We're ready to risk it all." Matteo nodded.

"Everything." Cedar agreed.

"Then let's go." Delphi smiled at them, walking out.

"Yes!" Cedar cheered and walked out, putting the piece of paper in her pocket.

**

"So everyone's okay? Keeping well then?" Parker asked as the Herd caught up at the local coffee shop, Erica being home from Romania.

"I think so." Erica nodded, fiddling with the paper in her hand.

"So Harry, what's this I hear about you finding a Time Turner?" Parker turned to him.

"Theodore Nott had one." Harry sighed.

"And that's the last of them all?" Ron raised a brow.

"I bloody well hope so." Harry nodded.

"McGonagall took mine." Parker crossed her arms.

"Same with mine." Hermione added.

"That was fun, confusing you guys." Parker snickered.

"Not fun at all." Ron shook his head,"You laughed at me and called me crazy."

Parker shrugged and turned to her friend with a smirk on her face, "How was the date?"

"For the last time, it was not a date." Erica crossed her arms.

"Did you guys kiss?" Parker raised a brow.

"No!" Erica covered her face.

"Okay, okay... Then Blaise and I never went on a date either." Parker shrugged.

"Yeah, you did." Erica pointed,"Wait-"

"Hm?" Parker smiled.

"Shush, it's legal! He's single." Erica nudged her friend.

"Oh yeah, I heard about him and Hannah. Good on him, I hate her." Parker nodded.

"She wouldn't let him see me. Talk about controlling." Erica shook her head.

"I'm glad you can see him now." Parker hummed.

"And I'm not stopping, I'm going around to see him tomorrow." Erica nodded.

"Ooo~" Parker nudged her.

"Keep that up, I dare you." Erica sighed.

"I'm being supportive." Parker laughed.

"I know." Erica rolled her eyes.

"I'm being serious. Go for it. You deserve to be happy." Parker smiled softly.

"As do you." Erica patted Parker's head.

Parker hummed as an owl flew in, dropping a letter on the table.

"Who wants it?" Erica looked around.

"I'll read it." Hermione leaned forward and read it, her smile dropping as she looked at the other two girls.

"Oh no, what is it?" Erica sighed.

"The twins and Cedar- They never made it to the school. The others told McGonagall." Hermione put the paper down.

Erica froze where she was sat,"They... They what?"

"Did they fall asleep on the train? How- Surely they would've notice that three children were bloody missing." Parker quickly stood up.

"Hogwarts. Now." Erica stood up as well.

"No shit." Parker quickly took Erica's hand and apparated away.

**

"So what? We just take it?" Trixie held up the small bottle with the elixir.

"Seems simple enough." Cedar nodded.

"Thanks to Delphi's brilliant preparation work, we are going to take this potion and be transformed, and thus disguised we will be able to enter the Ministry of Magic." Matteo looked at Delphi.

"Does it hurt?" Trixie turned to Delphi.

"Yes, as I understand it." Delphi nodded.

"It's fine, I'm good with pain." Cedar shrugged.

"Thank you. Good to know. Second point: Do either of you know what Polyjuice tastes of? Because I've heard it tastes of fish and if it does I will just vomit it back up. Fish doesn't agree with me. Never has. Never will." Trixie pointed.

"It tastes gross but you're gonna have to deal with it." Cedar told her.

"It doesn't taste of fish. Actually it tastes quite pleasant, yum. It is painful but- Take it back. There is a slight- slight overpowering- fishy residue." Delphi burped before she slowly turned into Hermione.

"Well, there's no turning back now." Erica sighed, dowing her potion and slowly becoming her mother.

"I don't like this." Trixie took her potion and coughed as her hair grew slightly longer, turning into Parker.

"Me either." Matteo shook his head as he became Ron.

"Ha! You're ginger!" Trixie laughed and pointed, "No offence Cedar, love you."

"I was ginger before." Cedar rolled her eyes,"Now, to do something I've been waiting for."

"What?" Delphi turned.

"Check under these gloves, mum never takes them off." Cedar held up her hands

"Do you want to see them in private?" Trixie asked carefully, they knew that whatever was under them... Wasn't good.

"I just want to see." Cedar sighed.

"Alright." Trixie nodded as Matteo turned to Delphi.

"Wow... We all look so alike them." He chuckled.

Cedar then took off the gloves and was left confused.

"Oh- What the.." Trixie looked.

Two scars, one on each hand. They weren't like the rest of her mother's scars though, they were writing

"How did she write into her hand?" Trixie raised a brow.

"No idea, how would she be able to write it so neatly on both sides?" Cedar shook her head.

"Her wand? Is there a spell that can make it clearer?" Trixie gently took Cedars hand and tilted her head,"I wonder what it says."

"I must not assist in telling lies." Cedar read out,"I must not be violent."

"What the hell does it mean?" Cedar sighed.

"Do you guys know a Professor Umbridge?" Delphi turned to them.

"Who?" Cedar raised a brow.

"She was a professor, she did... Many hurtful things. When students did something wrong, she used this quill that imprinted what you were writing... Into your hand. She tortured students." Delphi explained.

Cedar froze and looked down at her hands slowly.

"So that's what it is?" Matteo sighed.

"Mum.." Cedar blinked.

"Hey... Umbridge was... Well, a bitch. Your mothers probably didn't even do anything wrong." Delphi put a hand on Cedars back.

"Y-yeah, my mum's not bad." Cedar shook her head.

"Are we gonna ask about it?" Matteo raised a brow.

"I will." Cedar nodded.

"I'll ask mum about it as well." Trixie sighed.

"Let's get inside." Delphi pointed.

"Right." Cedar shook her head and walked inside the phone box.

Matteo walked into the phone box and dialed 62442.

'Welcome, Parker Lestrange, Erica Weasley, Ron Weasley and Minister Granger.' The telephone box spoke.
