It's been days since my last incident at the alley and I have not been in contact with my rescuer nor the "bad guys".

It was like the next day was back to normal as if the encounter in the alley never happened. It's strange to think that so many things happened during the short period and the next second everything is back to normal.

I'm currently surrounded by earthlings that seem to be harmless, but I never know if any of them turn out to be dangerous species.

I'm a vampire in this school and from what I can sense, I don't think there's any of my kind in this school nor area. Recently, I just got enrolled in this prestigious school where everyone is either smart or some sort of social influencer and then there's me.

The reason why I got to change school was all because of exposure from my best friend and I hate it. I believed her but now she's dead.

This time I'm not going to make any friends nor talk to anyone, in case I'm being exposed again. So, it's some sort of mini-mission for me to comply with it. I can't make myself dead meat once again. If you know what I mean *wink*.

I'm currently sitting in a lesson but my mind wandered back to him, my rescuer. He gave out a vibe that makes me attracted as well as confused. I think I'm in love or he's the one for me!

"Y/n, please answer the question on the board" my professor pointed me out in front of the whole class. Well here comes my luck. I didn't even listen to what he said.

"I don't know teacher," I said and sat down without giving him a chance to say anything.

"It's fine. Just sit down Y/n." He said as he pointed at another student.

The rest of the lessons went by quickly as I was in my world without the teacher asking me another question.

"Y/n, can you stay back? I need to talk to you" my professor told me.

"What's up, old man!" I said and gave him a puff at the side.

"Please sit down," he said and I sat down.

After a deep breath, he continued, "I'm here to tell you that you have a chemistry test later where something unexpected may happen."

Test?! Unexpected? May happen?

I have a test later!

The next second, I dashed out of the classroom without letting him say another word as I went to practice without hearing his sentence that followed it.

As I went up to the roof to practice, the wind blew strongly against my face as I then had a no-good gut feeling.

"Hello" A voice sounded as I turned around and met with a familiar face.

*bang*

I collapsed in his arms as someone banged the door into my back.

I looked up and he helped me up as the one who opened the door said, "This area is booked, so leave peasants!" They then laughed at me as I left the roof.

I looked down at my wristwatch and saw that its soon time for my next lesson which is the test too. Great...

I went into the classroom and saw that everyone was seated in their seats as I went to find a seat far away from everyone.

"You are late, Miss Y/n" my professor, Mr. Johnsson, said.

"The test starts in 2 minutes, so take your things out and get ready," He said as he turned his back and wrote something on the blackboard.

"Get ready in 3, 2, 1"
